* NOTE!
Don’t twist the ear hook and battery.
Before using the earphone for the first time,
you need to charge it with the micro-USB
charging dock. The normal charging time is
about 2 hours.
1. Remove the battery from the earphone.
2. Put the battery in the charging dock, the
battery is fully charged approximately 2
hours.
* NOTE!
1. It is not possible to use the earphone
during charging.
2. The Earphone will emit a beep sound
when the battery is running low and requires
recharging.
3. When the battery is put on charge, keep
them at the temperature range from 0 ℃ ~
45 ℃ (32 ℉ ~ 113 ℉).

Turning On or Off Pairing the earphone
 To turn on the earphone
To turn the earphone on, press and hold
power ( ) button until emit “power on”
sound, as well as both the blue and red
indicator light lit.
 To turn off the earphone
To turn the earphone off, press and hold
power ( ) button 1 seconds, then it
emit “power off” sound, as well as both
the blue and red indicator light shut off.
 Pairing the earphone with a phone
To use the earphone with a phone, you need
to pair the earphone with the phone. After
successful pairing, the earphone connects
automatically to the phone as soon as the
earphone is turned on and within range.
To pair the earphone with a phone:
1. Make sure the earphone is turned off.
2. Keep your earphone and phone within 33
feet of each other during the pairing process.
Turn on the Bluetooth function in the phone..

3. Press and hold power ( ) button until the
blue and red indicator flash in an alternating
fashion.
4. Choose the device’s name “True Open”
in the phone. Earphone emit “pairing to the
phone” sound.
5. When the red indicator light shuts off and
emits “your earphone connected” sound, the
earphone is now successful pairing.
Pairing the earphone with each other
Before using the earphone for the first time,
you need to make sure the earphone paired
with each other correctly.
To pair the earphone with each other:
1. Make sure the earphone is turned on.
2. Keep your both side of the earphone within
33 feet during the pairing process.
3. Right Earphone:
Press power ( ) button and previous play
button at the same time for 1 second until
emit “pairing” sound, as well as the blue and
red indicator light alternately lit.
4. Left Earphone:
Press power ( ) button and volume up
button at the same time for 1 second until
emit “discovering” sound, as well as the blue
and red indicator light alternately lit.
5. When the blue indicator light shuts off, both
of the earphone is now successful pairing.
* NOTE!
The earphone is paired with each other
before out of the factory.

Answering / Ending a call
 A beep indicates an incoming call. To answer a call, press power ( ) button.
 To end a call, press power ( ) button.
* NOTE!
Only one of the paired devices can be selected as a calling device at the same time.
Adjusting the volume
To change the ear speaker or music volume:
During a call, or when listening to music, press the volume up / volume down button to
increase / decrease the volume.
* NOTE!
1. You may also adjust the volume from your mobile phone’s volume control.
2. If you first time to turn on the HL220, suggesting adjust volume to the minimum to prevent
the excessively loud sounds.

 Before using the earphone to listen to
the music, you need to start the media
player in your phone.
 To play the music, press power ( )
button.
 To pause the music, press power ( )
button.
 To move between tracks, press
(Previous / Next ) button

Troubleshooting
 Radial does not work
 Make sure the correct calling
device is selected.
 Make sure your phone
supports the Bluetooth
hands-free profile.
 The sound is distorted
 Make sure the earpiece is no
any visible dirt.
 Check that the battery is
charged enough.
The music does not play in
the earphone
 Make sure your phone is
paired with the earphone.
 Restart the media player and
select to use the earphone.
 Make sure the correct music
source is selected.
 Volume control does not
work
 Restart the earphone.
 The earphone is
automatically turned off
 Check that the battery is
charged enough.
 No connection to the phone
 Make sure the earphone is
charged.
 Make sure the earphone within
range of the phone, maximum
distance of 10 metres (33 feet)
with no solid objects in
between. Pair the earphone
with the phone again.
The sound is weak
 Make sure the volume on your
earphone and mobile phone is
turned up.
 Check that the battery is
charged enough.
 The earphone is no
connection with each other

conduct hands-free conversation. It is still dangerous to drive
and use a mobile phone at the same time.
 Do not use Wireless Bluetooth Earphone in a low (less than 32
℉ / 0℃) and high (more than 113℉ / 45℃) temperature, nor
in a place outside humidity ranges (15% ~ 93% R.H.), or
Wireless Bluetooth Earphone may not function properly.
 Do not drop Wireless Bluetooth Earphone, and avoid any
strong impact.
 Do not use Wireless Bluetooth Earphone on any body part
other than your auricle.
 If any damage on the sensor inside the microphone, or on the
unit itself, please return the goods to our local distributor.
 Keep Wireless Bluetooth Earphone away from children. Do not
let them use Wireless Bluetooth Earphone on their own either.
They may choke on earphone or tiny component parts by
accident.
 The battery is built-in Wireless Bluetooth Earphone; please do
not attempt to dismantle the Wireless Bluetooth Earphone.
 Check your local laws or regulations to find out whether a
specific protection level is mandated in your area.
Maintenance Limited Warranty
 Power off the earphone when not in use.
 Do not expose this product to water or other liquids.
 Do not use detergent or any strong chemicals to clean the
earphone.
 Do not attempt to disassemble or change any parts of the
earphone, including main unit, battery, and earpiece, due to
substitution of a component different from that supplied might
result in functionality error.
 If you will not use the earphone for long periods, be sure to
store it in a dry place, free from extreme temperature humidity
and dust.
 Use a piece of cloth with water or mild cleansing agent to wipe
the earphone and dry it immediately with a dry cloth.
 If any suggestion or service is requested, please consult your
service station.
 Warranty For One Year from the purchasing date
