3. PERSONAL SAFETY
•The Karristick is designed primarily as a shopping aid. It
should not be used as a mobility aid (such as a walking
stick). For details about mobility aids such as walking sticks
please contact your Medicare Technology dealer.
•Be careful not to overload the Karristick with too much
shopping, or with more shopping than you feel comfortable
with.
•Ensure that the weight of any shopping carried is equally
distributed between both sides of the Karristick.
•Do not put the whole of your weight on the Karristick.
•Always fully fold out the Karristick before use. Also check
that the height adjustable handle is locked in position before
use.

4. OPERATION
•Fold out the Karristick before use. Fold out the Karristick by
pushing the front and rear wheels apart. Then push down
on the front of the sliding cross brace to ensure the
Karristick is fully folded out.
•The height of the handle on the Karristick can be altered. To
alter the height of the handle, push in the two brass buttons
and then adjust the height of the handle until the buttons
lock in the desired position.
•The Karristick can be folded up to aid storage. To fold up,
pull up the front sliding cross brace until the Karristick is
locked in the storage position.
•Operate the Karristick by wheeling it along the ground using
the handle. To turn with the Karristick turn the handle in the
direction of travel.
•The Karristick has two hooks to carry shopping bags. These
are located below the handle.
•The Karristick can stand up unattended when folded out.
Please ensure if you do this, that you balance the weight of
the shopping equally between both sides of the Karristick.
