FEATURES
USING YOUR WATER FILTER AND CHILLER
Before First Use:
Clean the appliance and its accessories:
•Unpack the gift box and check if all components and accessories are included.
•Wash the lid, two water tanks and all the accessories with warm soapy water then rinse thoroughly and
dry.
•Wipe the appliance body over with a damp clean cloth or paper towel.
•Put the filter in cold tap water, maker sure the whole filter is immersed in water for about 30 minutes.

Flushing the dispensing system:
It is important to rinse out the dispensing system before starting to use your appliance:
•Put the base water tank onto the water chiller; ensure that the tank sits into the slots located in top of
the water chiller.
•Put the upper water tank on the base water tank and put the filter into the upper water tank.
•Fill the water tanks with cold tap water.
Note: Do not fill the water tank too quickly; because when you fill the upper water tank, the water will go
through the filter and enter into the base water tank and the water chiller. When the top of the filter is
immersed in water, please wait a couple of seconds to allow the water to enter into the base water tank.
•Turn the dial on the lid to current month. The change date will show the second successive month from
the start date.
•The first jug of filtered water may contain some black dust released from the carbon filter. Although this
is not harmful, we recommend that you flush the filter and discard the first batch of filtered water. Press
the Normal Water Tap and Chilled Water Tap together until the entire contents of the water tank has
been filtered and dispensed. It is important not to interrupt the water flow during this time. It is normal
for a small amount of unfiltered water to remain in the bottom of the water tank.
•The flushing procedure should be repeated with Cold Tap Water to ensure there is no residual taste.
Note: During the flushing process, the appliance may splutter as the air inside the filter is replaced by
water. You will notice a change in the filtering noise when the water tank is almost empty.
•Do not fill the top water tank above the lip below the lid.
•When flushing the filter using the Cold Tap Water for the first time, while pressing the Normal Water
Tap and Chilled Water Tap, no water will be dispensed until the tank is almost empty as the water will
be filling the internal cooling reservoir.
•After flushing the filter, the water will need to chill. Leave the appliance plugged in and wait for the
water to chill. On first use the appliance should be plugged in and left overnight to chill.
•The light may flicker on and off as chilled water is dispensed and if the ambient temperature increases.
The fan will also come on in these conditions and will remain on until the water is chilled again.
Float
The float is an important part of the Water Chiller. It is
used to gauge the water levels and prevent any leakages.
To ensure the float is fitted correctly:
1. Unscrew the bottom of the float housing to expose
the float.
2. The float has a rubber stopper on the tip. This
rubber tip must be pointing up towards the base
water container.
3. Tightly screw the ring back on the housing.
Filtering room temperature water:
Place a glass or jug under the spout and press the Normal Water Tap. To filter the entire contents of the water
tank, place a large container or jug (at least 4.5 liters) under the spout.
Filtering chilled water:
Place a glass or jug under the spout and press the Chilled Water Tap. The unit will dispense up to 3 cups
(about 0.8 liters) of chilled water at a time. If you’ve dispensed more than two cups one time, the unit will
require about 1.5 hours to chill the whole water reservoir. The chilled water ready light will go OFF when the
unit is able to dispense chilled water again.

NOTE: The “Chilled Water” mentioned above is about 15°C below the Normal Tap Water.
Filter life:
The life of your filter will be affected by the quality of your tap water. When you
notice that the water begins to flow very slowly from the spout it is time to
change the filter. This can be any time from one month to three months
depending on the area where you live.
However, it must be replaced at least every three months. The Date Indicator
for Filter Replacement on the filter will help you to remember when this is.
Replacing the filter:
1. Removing the old filter:
•Switch off and unplug the appliance.
•Ensure the top tank is empty
•Remove and discard the old filter.
•If O-ring seal remains inside the appliance remove and discard it.
2. Installing the new filter:
•Wet the new O-ring seals located at the middle of the filter and fit the filter into place.
•Fill the water tank and plug the appliance into the power outlet.
•Flush the filter as explained above.
If the appliance has not been used for more than two weeks, flush the filter before use.
Emptying the internal tank
•Switch off the unit and unplug from the mains supply.
•Turn the unit upside down to reveal a drain plug located in the centre of the base.
•Remove the spring clip securing the silicone cap to the drain and remove the silicone cap.
•Drain the unit.
•Refit the silicone cap and spring clip.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
•Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
•Do not place any part of this appliance in the dishwasher.
•Wipe the base with a clean cloth or paper towel.
•Wash the water tank in warm soapy water using a mild detergent.
•Do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid.
