MACHINE WASHING - OUTER MESH COVER AND PU LINING
Machine wash at 60°C or less with mild detergents. Do NOT tumble dry.
Wash the cover inside out with the positioning straps secured inside the
cover.
WIPE DOWN - PU CUSHION COVERS
Wipe clean with a soft cloth moistened with water and a neutral detergent. Do
NOT use bleach or any biological cleaners. Machine wash* or dry clean with
detergent up to 60°C - some surface wrinkling may occur, however this has
no adverse effect on the fabric properties. Do NOT tumble dry.
*ALWAYS REMOVE THE FOAM INSERTS PRIOR TO WASHING

Thank you for purchasing a Posturite 2 - an integrated
postural and pressure management seating support
you can enjoy all day long comfort - working or
resting.
Your Posturite2 is made up from a selection of
components which are featured below.

ARM RESTS
LEG SUPPORT
The arm rests can be used to improve the fit, comfort and support
of your chair by either positioning over the chair arms or tucked in.
The arm rests sit over the
chair and are secured in place
with the adjustable strap.
To tuck in the arms, simply
fold over and press the
Velcro strips together.
The addition of the leg support provides extra support when
extended.

THE WIRE BACK
The back can be adjusted to provide optimum comfort and support.
The Wire back offers a range of adjustment options
as it can be tightened or opened out to provide
trunk support, positioned higher or lower on the
chair for stability and create offset lumbar support.
The wire back is
secured around the
chair/wheelchair
back using an
adjustable strap as
shown.
The wire back can be opened
out to accommodate the
clients’ trunk and seating
arrangement.
The width setting is held in
place using the mid point
strap with D rings.
Introduction & Guarantee
The system includes cushion foams, covers and straps and is
guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for a period
of ONE YEAR from the date of manufacture.
This guarantee is valid for reasonable wear and tear only. It is not
valid in cases of misuse, or uses other than those specified in the
manufacturer's instruction manual. We do not guarantee fabrics
against shrinkage or staining so please pay careful attention to
cleaning instructions.
Should spare covers be ordered subsequent to the purchase of this
product, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match as dye
strengths vary. We reserve the right to withdraw patterns or colours
from the range, but will always endeavour to find the closest match
available.
Certain movement patterns and behaviours may accelerate fabric
wear. This cannot be covered by guarantee.
The Posturite2 system has been designed for those who need to
adapt their seating to improve its performance. The range of
components are selected to enhance your comfort and posture,
providing greater pressure distribution and create a functional
seating position.
Great care has been taken ensuring the Posturite II is simple to use
and easy to maintain.

The Posturite2 is very versatile with many features:
Simple, lightweight, portable, supportive and
comfortable to fit in any chair
Adaptable back designs with active laterals that
naturally adjust to fit your shape
Ergonomical cushions to allow you to carry weight
on the fleshy areas and away from high risk, such
as coccyx and I.T.

System components
When the system is first delivered it is fully
assembled, folded up and clipped in place,
with its own carry bag.
Simply unclip the Posturite2 and lay it out
flat. Please familiarise yourself with each
component using the diagram below.
Once you recognise each component, please fit and adjust the unit
as shown on the following pages to ensure correct adjustment and
comfort.

Fitting & Adjustments
THE WINGED BACK
Locate the base of the winged back either on top or
behind the seat cushion as shown. Once in desired
position, clip and tighten the webbing strap.
To place the seat cushion correctly, turn the unit so the straight edge
is towards the back of the chair and the rolled front edge lines up
with the front of the chair.
Once the unit is placed on the chair, next lift up the back section
against the chair and fit accordingly. The seat and back are
connected and can be positioned to suit you.
THE TRUNK BACK
Place the trunk back either on top or behind the
seat cushion as shown. Once in place, clip and
tighten the webbing strap as indicated.
