PROGRAM OPTIONS DESCRIPTION
Set Tipsy1sets safety limits & lockout angles
Set ATT SW1,2 configures operation of seating system (actuators) thru the operator/at-
tendant switch
Set Motor Type1sets motor type (motor current) for each actuator
Set Config1‘On/Off’ settings for miscellaneous system features (e.g. R/L Display, Beep, Att
Set, Ang Disp, Tilt Lim, etc...)
Get Version1indicates current software version of the M270
Set Actuator2turns motor functions ‘On/Off’
Joystick Controls2configures operation of seating system (actuators) thru the joystick (or
specialty control)
IMPORTANT! RECOMMENDED TIPSY ANGLES (SAFETY LIMITS)
Please refer to the following factory recommended limits/lockout angles:
HOME POSITION Home Setting = 0° - 20° Max
REDUCED DRIVE SPEED Limit RDS Limit = 10° - 20° Max
DRIVE LOCKOUT (DLO) Limit1Max. DLO Limit = 30° (with Reduced Drive Speed)
Max. DLO Limit = 25° (without Reduced Drive Speed)
MAXIMUM BACK ANGLE: Max. Tilt Limit = 50° for 50T module or 45° for 45T12 module
Max. Tilt Limit = 55° for MCT system or (30°or 45°)for MCT-B system2
Max. Tilt/Recline Limit = 168° for all Tilt/Recline, Recline-Only

2.2 RECOMMENDED SAFETY LIMITS
WARNING! Risk of system damage, serious injury or death
Your power positioning system should never exceed the recommended safety limits (see below). The angle
at which limits are set is critical to the safe operation of the power positioning system. Motion Concepts will
not be liable for any injuries or damage sustained when adjustments are made beyond the maximum recom-
mended safety limits.
If at any time your power positioning system/wheelchair is operating beyond the recommended safety limits,
or if you feel unstable at any time while operating your power positioning system, return the system to its stable
(home) position and contact your Dealer or Service Provider immediately for assistance and/or inspection.
