General information:
Congratulations! You are a member of the selected group of individuals biking with the
HERRMANS® technically advanced LED lamp – H-Black Pro – specially developed for the
demanding climate of northern Europe. The H-Black Pro dynamo head lamp is equipped
with the new patent pending Projector Technology (P-Tech) – automotive technology
transformed to the bicycle. The P-Tech feature oers extremely high optical eciency and
exact 100% guiding of light. Resulting in superior light output and a focused light beam with
a sharp cut of line. -> More light on the road (where needed).
The LED lamp produces a clear, white light reminiscent of daylight. The light-emitting diode
is maintenance-free and none of the lamp parts will need replacing. In addition, the
electronics are protected against any eventual overvoltage from the dynamo, even when no
rear light is connected.
The light pattern is optimized for the rider - super wide, long, and homogeneous light
distribution (one of the widest on the market) – with an output of up to 200 lumens. The
lamp oers near field illumination as well as non-flickering illumination even at low speeds.
To be seen by other trac the H-Black Pro Dynamo has additional LEDs for clear side
visibility.
H-Black Pro is designed only to be powered by dynamo 6V (AC voltage). Please note,
dynamo not included with product. A separate version is available for e-bikes (DC).
H-Black Pro is equipped with Stand light function and a distinct ON/OFF switch that is easy
to operate.
The lamp works with all conventional dynamo rear lamps. This means that the rear lamp can
be controlled by H-Black Pro ON/OFF switch when the lamps are connected together.
The small, elegant contemporary alloy housing (CNC) provides robustness and excellent
cooling of the LED. The lamp has a click-in E I A, K front reflector.
The “Made in Finland” label is a guarantee of quality. Further evidence of H-Black Pro
quality is its compliance with the stringent requirements of the German StVZO certificate
(Road Trac Licensing Regulations). We wish you good visibility on your bike rides!
Assembly:
Make sure that the cables run smoothly through the front bracket (1) as displayed in the
image. Fasten the bracket (1) to the front fork of the bicycle. If your bicycle has a lamp
bracket on the side of the front fork, the lamp can be mounted there without using the
supplied bracket. Angle the lamp according to the area you want lit up. When mounting the
lamp, it is important not to aim it so high that it dazzles on-coming trac. Tighten the screws
(2) securely to prevent the lamp from moving on its own. Route the dual cable (4) to the
(hub-) dynamo and attach it as described in the dynamo instructions. It does not make any
dierence which way the cables are installed (+/-). The minus (-) cable has a light grey line,
the plus (+) cable is plain black. From the other dual cable (5), you can route cables to your
dynamo rear lamp so that it can also be controlled by the H-Black Pro switch (3). It is
possible to attach an E I A, K approved front reflector (6) through a click-in system.
Please note that the lighting equipment must not be concealed.
Functions:
Side visibility: The main light source and optical reflector are optimized for lighting up the
road for the biker. The second light source - two diodes on the sides of the optical reflector -
are aimed to the sides, optimized to make the bike visible to other trac from the sides
without dazzling.
Stand light: Part of the dynamo energy is stored in a condenser when you are riding and is
fully loaded after only approx. 3 minutes. When the bike stops, the main light source and the
side light sources run for several minutes with the power from the condenser.

Allgemeine Informationen über H-Black Pro:
Herzlichen Glückwunsch! Sie gehören zum exklusiven Kreis der Besitzer eines der technisch
hochmodernen, speziell für die schwierigen klimatischen Bedingungen Nordeuropas
entwickelten LED-Scheinwerfer H-Black Pro. Dieser Dynamoscheinwerfer macht sich die
zum Patent angemeldete neue Projektortechnik P-Tech zunutze – Autotechnik für das
Fahrrad. Durch P-Tech sind ein besonders hoher optischer Wirkungsgrad und eine
hundertprozentig exakte Lichtführung gesichert, die eine überlegene Lichtausbeute und
einen gebündelten Lichtstrahl mit einer scharf umrissenen Hell-/Dunkel-Grenze zum
Ergebnis haben. Das Ergebnis: Mehr Licht auf der Straße dort, wo es benötigt wird.
Der LED-Scheinwerfer gibt ein helles, weißes, tageslichtähnliches Licht ab. Er ist
ersatzteilfrei und die in ihm verbaute Leuchtdiode ist wartungsfrei. Zusätzlich ist die
Elektronik vor möglicher Überspannung aus dem Dynamo geschützt, auch wenn kein
Rücklicht angeschlossen ist.
Das Lichtmuster ist dank seiner marktführend breiten, langen und gleichmäßigen
Lichtverteilung und eines Lichtstroms von bis zu 200 Lumen bestmöglich auf den Fahrer
zugeschnitten. Auch bei niedrigen Geschwindigkeiten überzeugt der Scheinwerfer durch
eine sehr gute Nahfeldausleuchtung und Flackerfreiheit. Zusätzliche Leuchtdioden
gewährleisten gute seitliche Sichtbarkeit für andere Verkehrsteilnehmer.
Der H-Black Pro darf nur an einen 6-V-Dynamo (Wechselstrombetrieb) angeschlossen
werden; Dynamo nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten. Eine Ausführung für den E-Bike- bzw.
Gleichstrombetrieb ist ebenfalls erhältlich.
Der H-Black Pro verfügt über eine Standlichtfunktion sowie einen separaten, leicht zu
bedienenden EIN-/AUS-Schalter.
Er kann mit allen herkömmlichen Dynamo-Rücklichtern verwendet werden. Somit besteht
die Möglichkeit, das Rücklicht über den Ein-/Aus-Schalter des H-Black Pro zu betätigen,
sofern Scheinwerfer und Rücklicht miteinander verbunden sind.
Der kleine und elegante, aus einer Metalllegierung gefertigte Leuchtkörper ist
unempfindlich und kühlt die Leuchtdiode. Der Scheinwerfer verfügt über einen
ansteckbaren E IA, K Front-Rückstrahler.
Die Aufschrift „Made in Finland“ ist eine Qualitätsgarantie. Ein weiteres Qualitätsmerkmal
des H-Black Pro ist seine Zertifizierung nach der StVZO. Wir wünschen Ihnen allzeit gute
Sichtbarkeit beim Fahrradfahren!
Montage:
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Kabel im vorderen Halterteil (1) freigängig sind. Befestigen
Sie den Halter an der Vorderradgabel des Fahrrads. Wenn die Vorderradgabel Ihres Fahrrads
bereits mit einem Scheinwerferhalter ausgestattet ist, können Sie diesen statt des
mitgelieferten Halters verwenden. Stellen Sie den Winkel des Scheinwerfers Ihren
Erfordernissen entsprechend ein. Bei der Montage des Scheinwerfers ist darauf zu achten,
dass dieser nicht zu weit nach oben gerichtet ist, damit er keine entgegenkommenden
Fahrzeuge blendet. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben (2) fest an; der Scheinwerfer darf nicht
wackeln. Führen Sie das Doppelkabel (4) zum (Naben-)dynamo und schließen Sie es an wie
in der Bedienungsanleitung für den Dynamo beschrieben. Die Polarität der Kabel (+/-) spielt
beim Anschluss keine Rolle. Das Minuskabel (-) hat einen hellgrauen Streifen, das Pluskabel
(+) ist schwarz. Das andere Doppelkabel (5) können Sie zum Dynamo-Rücklicht führen, so
dass dieses über den EIN-/AUS-Schalter des H-Black Pro (3) mitgeschaltet werden kann.
Ein (E I A, K) Front-Rückstrahler (6) kann mittels Einrastfunktion aufgesteckt werden.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Lichttechnische Einrichtungen nicht verdekt sein dürfen.
Funktionen:
Seitliche Sichtbarkeit: Sowohl die Hauptlichtquelle als auch der optische Reflektor sind für
die Ausleuchtung der Straße fahreroptimiert. Die zweite Lichtquelle – bestehend aus zwei
Leuchtdioden an den Seiten des optischen Reflektors – bewirkt eine blendfreie
Ausleuchtung der Seiten und erhöht die seitliche Sichtbarkeit des Fahrrads für andere
Verkehrsteilnehmer.
Standlicht: Ein Teil der vom Dynamo erzeugten Energie wird während des Fahrens in einem
Kondensator gespeichert, der nach ca. drei Minuten vollständig geladen ist. Wird das
Fahrrad angehalten, werden die Hauptlichtquelle sowie die seitlichen Lichtquellen mehrere
Minuten lang vom Strom aus dem Kondensator gespeist.

§67 StVZO sagt: Der Lichtkegel muss mindestens so
geneigt sein, dass seine Mitte in 5m Entfernung vor dem
Scheinwerfer nur halb so hoch liegt wie bei seinem Austritt
aus dem Scheinwerfer.
