Einsatz des HEWI Stützklappgriffs
Der EWI Stützklappgriff ist ausgelegt für eine maxima-
le statische Gebrauchslast von 100 kg vertikal und 35 kg
horizontal. Benutzen Sie den Griff nicht, wenn Sie dieses
Gewicht überschreiten. Beim Überschreiten der
Belastungswerte können dauerhafte Schäden am Griff
oder am Gelenk auftreten. In diesem Fall muss der Griff
unbedingt vor Weiterverwendung von dem mit der
Wartung beauftragten Fachunter nehmen untersucht
werden. Im Zweifelsfall sollte der EWI Sanitär
Kundendienst Tel. [phone] zu Rate gezogen
werden.
Verwenden Sie den EWI Stützklappgriff nur in der in
der Gebrauchsanleitung dargestellten Weise. Bei einer
Zweckentfremdung, z.B. als Turngerät oder Steighilfe,
kann es zu Unfällen mit schwerwiegenden Verletzungen
kommen.
Beim erunterklappen des Griffes dürfen sich keine
Personen (insbesondere Kinder) unter dem Griff aufhal-
ten. Bei Nichtbeachtung dieses inweises kann es zu
Unfällen mit schwerwiegenden Verletzungen kommen.
Eine gewisse vertikale und horizontale Durchbiegung
unter Belastung ist normal. Sollten Sie eine dauerhafte
Verbiegung des Stützklappgriffs feststellen, sollten Sie
umgehend das Wartungsunternehmen oder den EWI
Sanitär Kundendienst Tel. [phone] verständi-
gen.
Installation des HEWI Stützklappgriffs
Die einwandfreie und sichere Funktion des EWI
Stützklappgriffes hängt in hohem Maße ab von der fach-
gerechten Montage an der Wand. Deshalb darf diese
Montage ausschließlich durch qualifiziertes
Fachpersonal (Sanitärinstallateure) durchgeführt wer-
den. Eine nicht fachgerecht durchgeführte Installation
kann zu schwerwiegenden Funktions beeinträchti -
gungen des Stützklappgriffs führen. ierdurch kann es
zu Unfällen mit schwerwiegenden Verletzungen kom-
men. Es ist daher dringend von einer Selbstmontage
des Griffs abzuraten.
Bei der Montage des EWI Stützklappgriffs durch quali-
fiziertes Fachpersonal ist darauf zu achten, dass die
Befestigungsfläche im gesamten Bereich der Wand -
platte plan ist (keine vorstehenden Fugen oder Fliesen -
versatz), der Wandaufbau für eine Montage des Griffs
geeignet ist und insbesondere keine Schwach stellen
aufweist. Weiterhin ist auf die Auswahl des passenden
Befestigungsmaterial zu achten, welches die Fa. EWI
für eine Vielzahl von Wand beschaffenheiten anbietet. Im
Zweifelsfall sollte der EWI Sanitär Kundendienst Tel.
[phone] zu Rate gezogen werden. Die
Angaben des Dübelherstellers sind unbedingt zu beach-
ten.

Use of HEWI Hinged support rail
The EWI hinged support rail is designed to withstand a
maximum static working load of 100 kg (vertical) and
35 kg (horizontal), the equivalent of 150 kg body weight
assuming normal use. Do not use this support for
weights in excess of this. Any non-compliance with loa-
ding limits can cause permanent damage to the support
or the joint. In such cases, the support must be exami-
ned by the company appointed to carry out maintenan-
ce work prior to the support being used again. If in
doubt, contact EWI's after-sales service team
(sanitary) on tel. [phone] for further assistance.
Only use the EWI hinged support rail in the manner
described in the instructions. Any improper use e.g. as
a gymnastic apparatus or climbing aid can cause an
accident with persons potentially suffering serious injury.
No persons (particularly children) may be in the area
underneath the support when it is being folded down as

The fact that the support bends to a certain extent under
load is normal. Should however the support become
permanently deformed, you should immediately contact
the company appointed to carry out maintenance work

Installation of HEWI Hinged support rail
The smooth and safe functioning of the EWI hinged
support rail largely depends on its correct fixing to the
given wall, which is why this work should only be entru-
sted to a licensed contractor (sanitary fitter). Serious
impairment to the support's proper functioning can
occur if its installation is not carried out professionally,
potentially resulting in accidents with persons suffering
serious injury. This is why we advise you not to install the
support yourself.
When the licensed contractor mounts the EWI hinged
support rail, he should ensure that the entire area of the
wall to which the wall mounting plate is to be fitted is flat
(no projecting joints or tiles sticking out), that the struc-
ture of the wall is suitable for the installation of the sup-
port and has no weak points. Furthermore, the choice of
the right fixing material kit for the job is important; EWI
offers various types to suit the nature of the wall concer-
ned. If in doubt, contact EWI's after-sales service team

Het gebruik van de HEWI steunklapgreep
De EWI steunklapgreep is gemaakt voor een maxima-
le statische gebruikerslast van 100 kg verticaal en 35 kg
horizontaal. Dit komt – bij gebruik conform de voor-
schriften–overeen met een lichaamsgewicht van 150 kg.
Gebruik de greep niet wanneer u dit gewicht over-
schrijdt. Bij het overschrijden van de belastbare waarden
kunnen permanente beschadigingen aan de greep of
aan het scharnier het gevolg zijn. In dit geval moet de
greep vóór verder gebruik beslist worden onderzocht
door het deskundige bedrijf dat met het onderhoud is
belast. Raadpleeg in geval van twijfel de EWI sanitaire
klantenservice tel. [phone].
Gebruik de EWI steunklapgreep alleen op de in de
gebruiksaanwijzing beschreven manier. Gebruik voor
een andere bestemming, bijv. als gymnastiektoestel of
als opstapje, kan ongelukken met ernstig letsel tot
gevolg hebben.
Bij het neerklappen van de greep mogen zich geen per-
sonen (in het bijzonder kinderen) onder de greep bevin-
den. Indien u deze instructie negeert, kunnen ongeluk-
ken met ernstig letsel het gevolg zijn.
Een zekere verticale en horizontale doorbuiging in bela-
ste toestand is normaal. Indien u een permanente bui-
ging van de steunklapgreep vaststelt, dient u onmiddel-
lijk het onderhoudsbedrijf of de EWI sanitaire klanten-

Installatie van de HEWI steunklapgreep
Een foutloos en veilig functioneren van de EWI steun-
klapgreep hangt in hoge mate af van de vakkundige
montage aan de wand. Daarom moet deze montage
uitsluitend door vakkundig personeel (sanitairinstalla-
teurs) worden uitgevoerd. Een onvakkundig uitgevoerde
installatie kan ernstige belemmeringen in het functione-
ren van de steunklapgreep tot gevolg hebben. iervan
kunnen ongelukken met ernstig letsel het gevolg zijn.

te verrichten.
Bij de montage van de EWI steunklapgreep door vak-
kundig personeel moet er voor worden gezorgd dat het
bevestigingsoppervlak over de gehele wandplaat vlak is
(geen uitstekende voegen of tegels), dat de wand qua
structuur geschikt is voor montage van de greep en
vooral geen zwakke plekken vertoont. Verder dient te
worden gelet op de keuze van het passende bevesti-
gingsmateriaal, dat de firma EWI aanbiedt voor een
groot aantal verschillende wandeigenschappen.
Raadpleeg in geval van twijfel de EWI sanitaire klan-

Utilisation de la barre d’appui relevable HEWI
La barre d’appui relevable EWI est conçue pour sup-
porter une charge utile statique maximale de 100 kg
dans le sens vertical et de 35 kg dans le sens horizon-
tal, soit un poids corporel de 150 kg en utilisation con-
forme. N’ utilisez pas la barre si vous pesez plus de
150 kg. Un dépassement des charges maximales peut
entraîner des détériorations durables de la barre ou de
l’articulation. Dans ce cas et avant toute nouvelle utilisa-
tion, faites impérativement examiner la barre par l’entre-
prise spécialisée chargée de l’entretien. En cas de
doute, consulter le service après-vente sanitaire EWI

N’utilisez la barre d’appui relevable EWI que de la
façon décrite dans le mode d’emploi. Une utilisation non
conforme à la destination prévue, p. ex. comme agrès
ou comme escabeau, peut être à l’origine d’accidents
entraînant des blessures graves.
Avant de rabattre la barre, assurez-vous que personne
(en particulier des enfants) ne se trouve dessous. Le

Il est normal que la barre présente un léger fléchisse-

Installation de la barre d’appui relevable HEWI
Le bon fonctionnement et la sécurité d’utilisation de la
barre d’appui relevable EWI dépendent dans une large
mesure de la qualité du montage. Celui-ci devra donc
exclusivement être confié à des professionnels qualifiés
(installateurs en sanitaire). Un montage incorrect peut
nuire au bon fonctionnement de la barre d’appui releva-
ble et être à l’origine d’accidents entraînant des blessu-
res graves. Nous vous déconseillons donc fortement de
procéder vous-même à l’installation de la barre.
Les professionnels qualifiés chargés de l’installation de
la barre d’appui relevable EWI devront au préalable
s’assurer que le mur est parfaitement plan sur toute la
surface de montage (pas de joints ou de carreaux en
saillie), que la structure de la paroi murale est adaptée et
surtout, qu’elle ne présente pas de points faibles. Il con-
vient par ailleurs d’utiliser le matériel de fixation adéquat,
que la société EWI propose pour de nombreux types
de murs. En cas de doute, consultez le service après-

impérativement les instructions du fabricant lors de l’uti-
lisation des chevilles.

Impiego del maniglione ribaltabile HEWI
Il maniglione ribaltabile EWI è stato progettato per
sostenere un carico statico massimo di 100 kg in senso
verticale e di 35 kg in senso orizzontale. Questi valori
corrispondono, presupponendo un uso corretto, al cari-
co esercitato da una persona del peso massimo di
150 kg. Un superamento dei valori massimi di carico
indicati può provocare danni permanenti al maniglione o
allo snodo. Se ciò dovesse verificarsi, è indispensabile
sospendere l'uso del maniglione fino a quando questo
non sia stato controllato dall'azienda specializzata inca-
ricata della manutenzione. In caso di dubbi, rivolgersi
per consulenza al servizio di assistenza clienti EWI Tel.
[phone].
Il maniglione ribaltabile EWI deve essere utilizzato
esclusivamente nel modo illustrato nel manuale di istru-
zioni. L'uso improprio, ad esempio per esercizi ginnici o
come gradino per accedere a oggetti più alti, può
provocare infortuni dalle gravi conseguenze.
A causa del materiale utilizzato, il maniglione, se usato

Installazione del maniglione ribaltabile HEWI
Il buon funzionamento e la sicurezza del maniglione
ribaltabile EWI dipendono in ampia misura dal modo in
cui questo è fissato alla parete. Per questo il montaggio
deve essere effettuato esclusivamente da personale
qualificato ( impiantisti o squadre EWI). Un'installazione
eseguita in modo non corretto può compromettere
gravemente la funzionalità del maniglione ribaltabile
EWI e provocare quindi incidenti dalle gravi conse-
guenze. Evitare quindi, nel modo più assoluto, di
montare il maniglione da soli.
Il personale qualificato che effettua il montaggio del
maniglione ribaltabile EWI deve assicurarsi che la pare-
te in corrispondenza dell'intera piastra di fissaggio del
maniglione sia perfettamente piana (senza giunti o
piastrelle sporgenti), che la struttura della parete sia
adatta per il montaggio del maniglione, ed in particolare
che non presenti punti deboli. Inoltre, il personale quali-
ficato dovrà scegliere con accuratezza gli elementi di
fissaggio più adatti tra quelli proposti dalla EWI per i
vari tipi di pareti. In caso di dubbi, rivolgersi per
consulenza al servizio di assistenza clienti EWI

indicazioni del produttore dei tasselli.

Uso del asidero rebatible de apoyo HEWI
El asidero rebatible de apoyo EWI está concebido para
una carga de uso estática máxima de 100 kg en posici-
ón vertical y 35 kg en posición horizontal. No use el asi-
dero si sobrepasa este peso. Al sobrepasar los valores
de carga pueden generarse daños permanentes en el
asidero o en la articulación. En este caso, el asidero
tiene que ser controlado imprescindiblemente por la
empresa encargada del mantenimiento antes de conti-
nuar usándolo. En caso de duda se debiera de contac-
tar el servicio posventa sanitario de EWI, Tel. +49 5691
82-300 para dejarse aconsejar.
Use el asidero rebatible de apoyo EWI sólo de la forma
expuesta en las instrucciones para el uso. En caso de
uso inadecuado, p. ej,. como aparato de gimnasia o
como ayuda para trepar, se pueden producir accidentes
con lesiones graves.
Al bajar el asidero no deben encontrarse personas
(especialmente niños) debajo del asidero. Al no obser-
varse estas indicaciones se pueden genera accidentes
con lesiones graves.
Un cierto abombamiento vertical y horizontal bajo carga
es normal. Si constata un combeo permanente del
asidero rebatible de apoyo, debiera de comunicárselo

Instalación del asidero rebatible de apoyo HEWI
El funcionamiento impecable y seguro del asidero reba-
tible de apoyo EWI depende en grado sumo del mon-
taje adecuado en la pared. Por eso, este montaje tiene
que ser efectuado exclusivamente por personal califica-
do del ramo (instaladores sanitarios). Una instalación
efectuada de forma inadecuada puede llevar a graves
mermas en el funcionamiento del asidero rebatible de
apoyo. Debido a ello se pueden generar accidentes con
lesiones graves. Por ello se tiene que aconsejar expre-
samente no efectuar por sí mismo el montaje del asi-
dero.
En el montaje del asidero rebatible de apoyo EWI se
tiene que tener presente por el personal especializado
que la superficie de fijación en toda el área de la placa
de la pared sea plana (que no haya ranuras o disloca-
mientos del alicatado), que la configuración de la pared
sea adecuada para el montaje del asidero y que, en
especial, no tenga puntos débiles. Además se tiene que
tener cuidado de elegir el material de sujeción adecua-
do, el cual es ofrecido por la empresa EWI para una
gran cantidad de estructuras de la pared. En caso de
duda se debiera de contactar el servicio posventa sani-
tario de EWI, Tel. [phone] para dejarse acon-
sejar. Deben observarse imprescindiblemente las indica-
ciones del fabricante de los tacos.

Stosowanie uchwytu składanego HEWI
Uchwyt składany EWI jest przystosowany do
maksymalnego statycznego obciążenia użytkowego
100 kg w pionie i 40 kg w poziomie. Uchwytu nie
należy poddawać większym obciążeniom!
Przekroczenie maksymalnych obciążeń użytkowych
może spowodować trwałe uszkodzenie uchwytu
składanego. W razie podejrzenia, że mogło dojść do
przeciążenia uchwytu, musi on zostać konieczne
sprawdzony przez specjalistyczną firmę prowadzącą
konserwację wyposażenia. W razie wątpliwości należy
zasięgnąć opinii Działu Serwisowego EWI – produkty
sanitarne, tel. [phone].
Uchwyt składany EWI wolno stosować tylko w sposób
zgodny z jego przeznaczeniem. Używanie uchwytu w
sposób niezgodny z przeznaczeniem, np. jako urządze-
nia do ćwiczeń gimnastycznych albo do podciągania
ciała, może doprowadzić do wypadku i poważnych zra-
nień.
Przy opuszczaniu uchwytu nie mogą się pod nim
znajdować ludzie (szczególnie dzieci). Nieprzestrzeganie
tej zasady może doprowadzić do wypadku i poważnych
zranień. Ze względu na użyte do jego produkcji materia-
ły uchwyt zachowuje się przy prawidłowym użytkowaniu
elastycznie. Elastyczność uchwytu zmniejsza niebez-
pieczeństwo zranienia wskutek uderzenia się o uchwyt.
Lekkie wygięcie uchwytu w poziomie pod obciążeniem
jest normalne. Jeżeli jednak nieobciążony uchwyt jest
trwale wygięty, należy się skontaktować z firmą
prowadzącą konserwację wyposażenia lub z Działem
Serwisowym EWI – produkty sanitarne,
tel. [phone].
Instalacja uchwytu składanego HEWI
Prawidłowe i bezpieczne funkcjonowanie uchwytu skła -
danego EWI zależy w znacznym stopniu od jego pra-
widłowego zamocowania do ściany. W związku z tym
uchwyt może być mocowany do ściany wyłącznie przez
odpowiednio wykwalifikowany personel (instalatorzy
wyposażenia sanitarnego). Nieprawidłowo przeprowa -
dzona instalacja może spowodować niebezpieczne
wady funkcjonowania uchwytu składanego. Może to
doprowadzić do wypadku i poważnych zranień.
Stanowczo odradzamy mocowanie uchwytu na własną rękę.
Przy montażu uchwytu składanego EWI wykwalifiko-
wani pracownicy mają się obowiązek upewnić, że
powierzchnia zamocowania uchwytu jest płaska i równa
w całej strefie płyty ściennej (brak odstających spoin czy
połączeń kafelków) oraz że konstrukcja ściany pozwala
na montaż uchwytu (a w szczególności nie wykazuje
niestabilnych i słabych punktów). Należy także dobrać
odpowiednie materiały mocujące, które są oferowane
przez firmę EWI dla wielu różnych rodzajów ścian. W
razie wątpliwości należy zasięgnąć opinii Działu
Serwisowego EWI – produkty sanitarne, tel. +48 022
330 00 52. Dokładnie przestrzegać wskazówek produ-
centa kołków mocujących.

Aids for barrierfree usage
Stationary supports are generally specified for bathrooms where
they tend to be located on both sides of washbasins and toilets.
They can however be used elsewhere if the need arises.
They provide users with support and something to hold on to,
thus preventing them from accidentally falling off the toilet.
Furthermore, persons with a physical disability can use them to
help themselves stand up, enabling them to make use of bath-
room facilities without help.
The toilet paper holder integrated into the front part of the sup-
port, depending on the type, enables the user to remove toilet
paper with one hand and can be mounted in a left hand or right
hand position or, if required, on both sides of the toilet.

Wandsteungrepen worden hoofdzakelijk in sanitaire omgevingen
aan beide zijden van wastafels en toiletten geplaatst. Bij geble-

Ze dienen ter ondersteuning en als houvast en verhinderen dat
iemand onbedoeld van het toilet valt. Verder vormen ze een
opstahulp voor personen met lichamelijke beperkingen, zodat ze
zo zelfstandig mogelijk gebruik kunnen maken van met name
sanitaire ruimten.
De afhankelijk van het type in het voorste gedeelte van de steun-
greep geïntegreerde closetrolhouder maakt het eenvoudig afrol-
len van closetrol m.b.v. een hand mogelijk en kan links, rechts of
aan beide zijden worden geplaatst.

Il portarotolo integrato nella parte anteriore di alcuni modelli di
maniglione consente di staccare comodamente la quantità di
carta necessaria con una sola mano; il portarotolo può essere
applicato a destra, a sinistra o su entrambi i lati.

dere des Sanitärbereiches zu ermöglichen.
Die je nach Typ im vorderen Bereich des Stützgriffes integrierte
Toilettenpapier halterung ermöglicht eine bequeme Entnahme
mit einer and und ist links-, rechts- oder beidseitig anzuord-
nen.

vuelco involuntario del inodoro. Además, ellos son una ayuda
para que las personas con limitaciones físicas puedan levantar-
se, para facilitarles un uso independiente dentro de sus posibili-
dades en especial en el ámbito sanitario.
De acuerdo al tipo del portarrollos de papel higiénico integrado
en la parte delantera del asidero de apoyo, éste permite una
toma cómoda con una mano y puede ser dispuesto al lado

Produkt medyczny do „łazienek bez barier”
Uchwyty składane są przeznaczone do stosowania w
pomieszczeniach sanitarnych po obu stronach uwywalki i toale-
ty. W szczególnych przypadkach mogą być używane również w
innych pomieszczeniach.
Zapewniają one możliwość podparcia ciała i zachowania równo-
wagi jak również zapobiegają ewentualemu upadkowi przy
wstawaniu z toalety. Ponadto ułatwiają osobom niepełnospraw-
nym siadanie na desce klozetowej i wstawanie, w celu jak naj-
bardziej samodzielnego korzystania z toalety.
Zestaw uzupełniający – uchwyt na papier toaletowy, o który
można uzupełnić uchwyty składane ułatwia dostęp do rolki
papieru toaletowego i może być zamontowany z lewej, prawej
strony lub obustronnie.
