3.3 Installation Method
This meter DZ81-MS3U7C should be installed in a dry and dust free environment, and avoid
exposing to excessive heat, radiation and high electrical noise source. The meters can be installed
into a standard panel of switch cabinet.
A. Remove the 2 clips from the meter and insert the meter into the panel from the front side. Make
sure that the screen is at the front of the panel.
B. Install 2 clips on the back side of the meter and fix tightly to ensure the meter is affixed to the
panel.

A. Three-phase Four-wire Wiring Mode (3LN)
B. Two-Phase Three-Line Wiring Mode (2Ln)
C. Three-Phase Three-Line Wiring Mode (2LL)

4
DZ81-MS3U7C can be used for measuring three phase voltage in low-voltage and high-voltage
systems. According to different wiring modes, corresponding wiring mode should be set on the
“Voltage Wiring Mode Setting Interface”.
Chapter 5 Meter Display and Operation
There are four buttons on the front panel, labeled button “ ”, button “ ”, button “ ” and
button “ ” from left to right. It can be used for reading real-time data and setting parameters
though the four buttons.
5.1 Parameters Display
5.1.1 Press button “ ”, it will cyclically display the real-time values of phase voltage and line
voltage. The sign in the bottom-left corner refers to the communication. The “computer” sign at left
signifies data reception. While the “computer” sign at right signifies data transmission.
