SP Switch (For HP-60/HP-80/HP-100/HP-100LL/HP-120/HP-120LL/HP-150/HP-200 Series)
The body of the switch is set on the pper part of the Rod. If the Diaphragm is damaged or nit is
dropped, the n s al movement of the Rod will ca se the pper part of the Rod to to ch the L-
shaped lever, contacting the spring terminal, breaking the safety screw. This t rns the power off,
stopping the p mp a tomatically. This is a b ilt in safety device to prevent any f rther damage to the
p mp. To replace SP Screw:
HP-60/HP-80/HP-100/HP-100LL/HP-120/HP-120LL/HP-150/HP-200 PASPSW0200
REPLACEMENT SAFETY SCREW PART#
All power m st be disconnected or deenergized before servicing nit. If hazard is
ignored personal inj ry or property damage is possible.

First remove the p mp pl g from the electrical o tlet.

After the Diaphragm mo nting block have been installed, replace with the new Head (Casing)
block, reattaching the L-t be, and reinstall the 4 screws holding the Head (Casing) on. (Refer to
Fig.4-

〔3〕Replacement of Safety Screw
(Refer to Fig.6)

Dispose of broken screw. Be s re all debris is removed (may be necessary to t rn p mp pside
down) from nit.
・
Fasten screw with plastic n t. The screw is designed so that the n t will t rn freely when it is
properly fastened, stop tightening when this happens.
・
Reinstall the 4 screws holding the Frame cover on. (For HP-100/120, Refer to Fig.4-

Reinstall the So nd absorber (except for HP-40, HP-100LL, HP-120LL).

Reinstall the Upper ho sing and tighten corner screws. (Refer to Fig.4-

Operation of Compressor Alarm Module
Do not attempt to open the alarm mod le. If the nit is connected to electricity,
opening of the alarm mod le can res lt in a risk of electric shock.
Service of the alarm mod le sho ld only be done by a q alified electrician or
serviceman.
If the o tside of the alarm mod le or light lens becomes cracked or damaged, npl g
or sh t-off the electric power immediately and contact an electrician or serviceman.
Do not carry the nit by the alarm mod le or electrical cord. It co ld damage the
alarm mod le.
The three position toggle switch is clearly labeled
on the alarm mod le.
RUN :
D ring normal operation the switch is in the
"RUN" or center position.
MUTE :
The "MUTE" position will silence the
a dible alarm while leaving the vis al alarm
operational.
TEST :
The "TEST" position will activate both the
a dible and vis al alarms to check to see if they
are working.
The alarm mod le a dible alarm (b zzer) and vis al alarm (light) are intended to
signal a system malf nction. Contact yo r service provider whenever yo hear or
see the alarm when the switch is in the "RUN" or center position. The "MUTE"
position can be sed to silence the a dible alarm ntil the service provider arrives.
