• Donotputobjectsoryourhandsintheprotectivecoverstoavoidphysicaldamageand
damagetothecompressor.
• Donotusethecompressorasabluntinstrumentagainstpersons,objectsoranimalsin
ordertopreventseriousdamage.
• Ifthecompressorisnolongerinuse,alwaystaketheplugoutoftheplugsocket.
• Alwaysmakesurethatcompressed-airhosesare used for compressedairandwhichare
characterisedbyamaximumpressureadjustedtothatofthecompressor. Do not try to
repairthehoseifitisdamaged.
Electricalsafety
Earthingregulations
Thiscompressorhastobeearthedwhileinuseinordertoprotect the operator against
electricalshocks.Thecompressorisprovidedwithatwo-core cable plus an earth. The
electricalconnectionhastobemadebyaqualifiedtechnician.Werecommendnever
disassemblingthecompressorandneithermakinganyotherconnectionsintothepressure
regulator.RepairsshouldbecarriedoutbyauthorisedSupportServicesorbyotherqualified
centres.
Never forget that the earthing core is the green or the yellow/green wire. Never
connect this green wire to a terminal under load.
Beforereplacingtheplugofthefeed,makesure that the earth cable is connected. If in doubt,
pleasecallinaqualifiedelectricianandhavetheearthingchecked.

Extensioncables
Onlyuseanextensioncablewithaplugandearth,soneverusedamagedorflattened
extensioncables.Checkwhethertheextensioncableisinagoodcondition.Forthisdevice
theextensioncableshouldhaveadiameterofatleast2.5mm2(thisappliestoamaximum
lengthof20metres).Alwaysunrollextensioncablesfullybefore using them.
Electricalconnection
Alwayscheckwhethertheinputvoltageofthemotorcorrespondstothemainsvoltage
indicatedonthespecificationplate.Thecompressorsaresuppliedwithanelectricalcable
andatwo-poleplug+earth.Itisimportanttoconnectthecompressorwithanearthedplug
socket.(fig.9)
Never use the earth-wire instead of the neutral (0-wire). The earthing should take
place in accordance with accident prevention regulations (EN 60204).
3.USE
For homehold use only
NB:Theinformationyouwillfindinthismanualhasbeenwrittentoassisttheoperatorinthe
useandmaintenanceofthecompressor.Someillustrationsinthismanualshowdetailswhich
maydifferfromthoseofyourcompressor.
Installation
Afterhavingtakenthecompressoroutofitspackaging(fig.1)andhavingcheckedthatitisin
perfectcondition,andhavingnotedthatnodamageoccurredduringtransport,thefollowing
actsshouldbeperformed.Ifnotyetfitted,fittherubberfeetonthetankaccordingtothe
instructionsrepresentedinfig.2.Placethecompressoronaflatsurfaceoratamaximum
slopeof10°(fig.3),inawellventilatedarea,protectedagainstatmosphericfactorsandnotin
explosivesurroundings. Ifthesurfacearea is sloping and smooth, make surethatthe
compressorwillnotmovewheninoperation.Ifthesurfaceareaisaboard or a shelf of a
bookcase,justmakesurethattheycannotfalldownbysecuringthemproperly.Forproper
ventilationandeffectivecooling,itisimportantthatthecompressorispositionedatleast100
cmfromthewall(fig.4).
Make sure that the compressor is transported in the right way, do not turn it upside
down and don't lift it with hooks or ropes (fig. 5-6).
Important!Beforecommissioning
Removetheplasticcapfromthesumplid.Fillthesumpwiththeoilsupplied.Thegaugeatthe
bottomofthesumpindicatestheoillevel:thisshouldnowbelevelwiththereddot(fig.7and
8).

5.VEDLIGEHOLDELSE
Vedligeholdelse
Sørg for, at stikket til maskinen er taget ud af stikkontakten, når der skal udføres
vedligeholdelse på motoren.
Fermmaskinererblevetkonstrueret,sådekanarbejdeilængereperiodermedetminimumaf
vedligeholdelse.Korrektvedligeholdelseogrengøringafmaskinenerenforudsætningfor
langtidstilfredsstillendebrug.Førenhverformforvedligeholdelseforetages,sørg altid for at:
• Universalknappenerstår"0"positionen.
• Tryk regulatorenogkontakternepåstrømfordelingstavlenerslukketi"0"positionen.
• Lufttankenerheltudentryk.
Rengøring
Kappenomkringmotorenskalrengøresmedenblødklud,helsthvergangmaskinenharværet
brugt.Ventilationsrillerne skal holdes fri for støv og snavs. Hvis snavset ikke vil gå af, bruges en
blødkludvredetopisæbevand.Dermåikkebrugesopløsningsmidlersomf.eks.benzin,sprit,
salmiakspirituso.l.Sådanneopløsningsmidlerkanbeskadigedeleafplastic.
Smøring
Deteranbefaletatskillesugefiltretadhver50endedriftstime,ogrengøre filterelementetvedat
pustedetvedlufttryk(fig.15).Deteranbefaletarfilterelementudskiftesmindsttogangehvert
århviskompressorenarbejderietrent miljø; oftererhvisarbejdsmiljøeterstøvet.
Kompressorenudviklerkondensvandsomsamlesitanken. Deternødvendigtatfjerne
kondensvanditankenmindsténgangomugen,vedatåbneaftapningshanen(fig.16)under
tanken. Værforsigtignårtryklufteriflasken,davandkankommeudunderstorttryk.
Anbefalettrykmaks.1-2Bar.
Kondensvand fra den oliesmurte kompressor bør ikke hældes ud i afløbe,t eller
hældes ud i naturen, da det indeholder olie.
Udskiftning/påfyldningafolie
Kompressorenerleveret med syntetisk olie "SAE 10W30". Det er anbefalet at udskifte alt
pumpesystemetsolieindenfordeførste100driftstimer.
• Skrueafløbsskruen(pakningen)afpåbeholderlåget,ladaltolienløbeudogskrueskruen
påigen(fig.17).

• Checkwhetherthemainsvoltagecorrespondstothatindicatedontheelectrical
specificationplate(fig.10),thepermittedtolerancerangeshouldbewithin5%.
• Presstheswitchsituatedontheupperpartintothe"0"positionaccordingtothepressure
regulatortypefittedonthedevice(fig.11).
• Puttheplugintheplugsocket(fig.9)andstartthecompressorupbyputtingtheswitchof
thepressureregulator in the "I" position. The operation of the compressorisfully
automatic.Thepressureregulator will stop the compressorwhenthemaximumvaluehas
beenreachedandstartitupwhenthepressure dropsbelowtheminimumvalue.Normally
thedifferenceinpressureisapprox.2Bar/29psibetweenthemaximumandtheminimum
value.Forinstance-Thecompressorwillstopwhenitreaches8Bar(116psi)(thisisthe
maximumoperatingpressure)andwillstartupautomaticallywhenthepressurewithinthe
tankhasdroppedto6Bar(87psi).
The head/cylinder/transmission pipe assembly may reach high temperatures, so
take care when working close to these parts and do not touch them to avoid burns
(fig. 12 - 13).

Itisnotnecessarycontinuouslytousethemaximumoperatingpressure,thecompressed-air
toolsoftenrequirelesspressure.Withregard to compressorssuppliedwithapressure
reductionvalveitisnecessarytosettheoperatingpressureproperly. It is possible to set the
operatingpressurebyusingtheturningknobonthereductionvalve.
• Byturning clockwise, the pressurewillbeincreased.
• Byturning anti-clockwise, the pressurewillbereduced.
Thesetpressurecanbelockedbyturningtheringundertheturningknobintheopposite
directionfromtheturningknobtherebyfixingtheturningknob.Thesetpressure is visible on
themanometerofthereductionvalve.
4.FAULTS
Airloss
• Maybecausedbyapoorsealofaconnection.
• Check all connections by wetting them with soap and water.

Thecompressordoesnotshutoff
Ifthecompressordoesnotshutoffwhenthemaximumpressurehasbeenreached,thesafety
valveofthetankwillbeactivated.ItisnecessarytocontactthenearestauthorisedSupport
Servicefortherepair.
5.MAINTENANCE
Maintenance
Make sure that the plug is removed from the mains when carrying out maintenance
work on the motor.
TheFermmachineshavebeendesignedtooperateoveralongperiodoftimewithaminimum
ofmaintenance.Continuoussatisfactoryoperationdependsuponpropermachinecareand
regularcleaning.Before interfering in any way whatsoever with the compressor,pleasemake
surethat:
• Thegenerallineswitchisinthe"0"position.
• Thepressureregulator and the switches on the switch boardareswitchedoff in the "0"
position.
• Theairtankisfullydecompressed.
Cleaning
Regularlycleanthemachinehousingwithasoftcloth,preferablyaftereachuse.Keepthe
ventilationslotsfreefromdustanddirt.
Ifthedirtdoesnotcomeoffuseasoftclothmoistenedwithsoapywater.Neverusesolvents
suchaspetrol,alcohol,ammoniawater,etc.Thesesolventsmaydamagetheplasticparts.
Lubrication
Itisrecommendedtodisassemblethesuctionfilterevery50operatinghoursandtocleanthe
filterelementbyblowingitwithcompressedair(fig.15).Itisrecommendedthatthefilter
elementisreplacedatleastonceayearifthecompressorisworkinginacleanenvironment;
moreofteniftheenvironmentinwhichthecompressor is situated is dusty. The compressor
makescondensedwaterwhichcollectsinthetank.Itisnecessarytoremovethecondensed
waterinthetankatleastonceaweekbyopeningthedraincock(fig.16)underthetank.Take
carewhencompressedairisinthebottlebecausethewatercancomeoutwithsomeforce.
Recommendedpressure max. 1-2 Bar.
The condensed water of the oil lubricated compressor should not be disposed of in
the sewers or be disposed of in the environment because it contains oil.

Elektriskforbindelse
Sørgaltidforomdenindgåendespændingtilmotoren stemmer overensmed
hovedspændingenvistpåtypepladen.Kompressorenerudstyret med et elektrisk kabel og et
to-polsstik+jordforbindelse. Detervigtigtattilsluttekompressoren til en jordbunden
stikkontakt. (Fig.9)
Anvend aldrig jordforbindelsen istedet for den neutrale (0-ledning).
Jordforbindelse bør kun anvendes i overenstemmelse med regler for
uheldsforbyggelse
3.ANVENDELSE

Installation
Efterathaveudpakketkompressoren(fig.1)oghavechecketatdenerigodstandognoteret
atingenskadeersketundertransport,børfølgendeudføres.Hvisendnuikkemonteret,
montérgummihættenpåtankeneftervejledningenfig.2.Placérkompressorenpåenflad
overfladeellerpåetunderlagmedmaksimum10°hælning(fig.3),ietgodtventileretrum,
beskyttetmodatmosfæriskefaktorerogikkeispængfarligeomgivelser. Hvis
overfladeområdeterhældendeogglat,sørgforatkompressorenikkebevægersigunderdrift.
Hvisoverfladeneretbrætellerenhyldepåenreol,sørg for at den ikke kan falde ned ved at
sikredengodt. Forgodventilationogeffektiv afkøling, er det vigtigt at kompressorener
placeretmindst100cmfravæggen(fig.4).
