1Introduction

2Installation
2.1 Installation Preparation
2.1.1 Before You Start
•Make sure t at t e device in t e package is in good condition and
all t e assembly parts are included.
•Make sure t at all t e related equipment is powered-off during t e
installation.
•C eck t e specification of t e products for t e installation
environment.
•C eck w et er t e power supply matc es your required output to
avoid damage.
•Make sure t e wall is strong enoug to wit stand t ree times t e
weig t of t e camera and t e bracket.
•If t e wall is concrete, insert expansion screws before installing
t e camera. If t e wall is wood, use self-tapping screws to secure
t e camera.
•If t e product does not work properly, contact your dealer or t e
nearest service center. Do NOT disassemble t e camera for repair
or maintenance yourself.
2.2 Installing the Lens
2.2.1 Before You Start
Lens must be purc ased separately.
1. Rotate t e lens clockwise onto t e camera module tig tly.

2. Insert t e cable attac ed on t e lens to t e lens socket to finis t e
lens installation.
3. Connect t e corresponding power cord and video cable.
4. Power on t e camera to view t e image on t e monitor.
NOTE: Do not remove t e cable attac ed to t e lens w ile power is
on.

3Menu Description
Call t e menu by clicking t e icon on t e PTZ Control interface, or call preset no.95.
1. Connect t e camera to t e TVI DVR and t e monitor, as s own below.

3.1 FORMAT
PAL (Phase Alternating Lines)
PAL is a color encoding system for analog televisions used in broadcast television
systems in most countries.
NTSC: (National Television S stem Committee)
NTSC is t e analog television system t at is used in most of Nort America, parts
of Sout America, Myanmar, Sout Korea, etc.

Supports Englis and C inese.
3.3 MAIN MENU
3.3.2 AE (AUTO EXPOSURE)
Auto Exposure describes t e brig tness-related parameters, w ic
can be adjusted by LENS, SHUTTER, BRIGHTNESS, EXPOSURE MODE, AGC,
and SENSE UP.

3.3.2.1 LENS
MANUAL and DC modes are selectable.
•MANUAL: You can control t e iris manually.

3.3.2.2 SHUTTER
Shutter denotes t e speed of t e s utter.
•Under LENS MANUAL Mode – Only AUTO is available, w ic
means t e s utter speed is controlled automatically.
•Under LENS DC Mode
>PAL: 1/25 s, 1/50 s, FLK 1/200 s 1/400 s, 1/1K s, 1/2K s,
1/10K s, and 1/50K s are available.
>NTSC: 1/30 s, 1/60 s, FLK, 1/240s, 1/480 s, 1/1K s, 1/2K
s, 1/10K s, and 1/50K s are available.
3.3.2.3 BRIGHTNESS
Brig tness refers to t e brig tness of t e image.
You can set t e brig tness value from 1 to 10 to darken or
brig ten t e image. T e ig er t e value, t e brig ter t e
image.
3.3.2.4 EXPOSURE MODE
You can set t e EXPOSURE MODE to GLOBAL, BLC, or WDR.
•GLOBAL
GLOBAL refers to t e normal exposure mode, w ic adjusts
lig ting distribution, variations, and non-standard
processing.
•BLC (Backlight Compensation)
BLC compensates lig t to t e object in t e front to make it
clear, but may cause overexposure of t e background w ere
t e lig t is strong.
W en BLC is selected as t e exposure mode, t e BLC level
can be adjusted from 0 to 8.
•WDR (Wide D namic Range)
WDR elps t e camera provide clear images even under

backlit circumstances. WDR balances t e brig tness level of
t e w ole image and provides clear images wit details.
3.3.2.5 AGC (Auto Gain Control)
AGC optimizes t e clarity of t e image in poor lig t conditions.
T e GAIN level can be set to HIGH, MIDDLE, or LOW. Select OFF to
disable t e GAIN function.
NOTE: T e noise will be amplified w en t e GAIN is on.
3.3.2.6 SENSE UP
Sense Up increases t e exposure on a signal frame, w ic
makes a camera more sensitive to lig t, so it can produce
images even in low lux conditions. You can set t e SENS-UP to
OFF or AUTO, according to t e lig t conditions.
T e SENS-UP function will automatically adjust itself to x2, x4,
x6, x8, x10, x12, x14, and x16 according to t e lig t conditions.
3.3.3 WB (White Balance)
WB, t e w ite rendition function of t e camera, is to adjust t e color
temperature according to t e environment. It can remove unrealistic
color casts in t e image. You can set WB mode to ATW or MWB.
3.3.3.1 ATW (Auto Tracking White Balance)
Under ATW mode, w ite balance is adjusted automatically
according to t e color temperature of t e scene illumination.
3.3.3.2 MWB (Manual White Balance)
You can set t e R GAIN/B GAIN value from 1 to 255 to adjust t e
image red/blue s ades.

3.3.4 DAY/NIGHT
Color, BW (Black and White), and AUTO are selectable for DAY/NIGHT
switc es.

3.3.5 VIDEO SETTING
Move t e cursor to VIDEO SETTING and click Iris+ to enter t e
submenu. CONTRAST, SHARPNESS, COLOR GAIN, 3D DNR, and MIRROR
are adjustable.

3.3.5.1 CONTRAST
T is feature en ances t e difference in color and lig t between
parts of an image. You can set t e CONTRAST value from 1 to 10.
3.3.5.2 SHARPNESS
S arpness determines t e amount of detail an imaging system
can reproduce. You can set t e SHARPNESS value from 1 to 10.
3.3.5.3 COLOR GAIN
Adjust t is feature to c ange t e saturation of t e color. T e
value ranges from 1 to 10.
3.3.5.4 3D DNR (Digital Noise Reduction)
T e 3D DNR function can decrease t e noise effect, especially
w en capturing moving images in poor lig t conditions and
delivering more accurate and s arp image quality. You can set
t e DNR value from 1 to 10.
3.3.5.5 MIRROR
DEFAULT, H, V, and HV are selectable for mirror.

•DEFAULT: T e mirror function is disabled.
•H: T e image flips 180° orizontally.
•V: T e image flips 180° vertically.
•HV: T e image flips 180° bot orizontally and vertically.
3.3.6 FUNC (Functions)
In t e FUNC sub-menu, you can set t e camera’s privac mask,
motion detection, camera ID, and DPC.
•PRIVACY
T e privacy mask allows you to cover certain areas t at you don’t
want to be viewed or recorded. Up to four privacy areas are
configurable.

Select a PRIVACY area. Set t e DISPLAY status as ON. Click t e
Up/Down/Left/Down button to define t e area’s position and size.
•MOTION
In t e user-defined motion detection surveillance area, t e
moving object can be detected and t e alarm will be triggered. Up
to four motion detection areas can be configured.

Select a MOTION area. Set t e DISPLAY status as ON. Click t e
Up/Down/Left/Right button to define t e position and size of t e
area. Set t e SENSITIVITY from 0 to 100.
•CAMERA ID
Edit t e camera ID in t is section.

•DPC (Defective Pixel Correction)
Defective pixels are pixels in a CMOS image sensor t at fail to
sense lig t levels correctly. T is series of camera supports
defective pixel correction.
Set mode ON to enable and OFF to disable t e function.

•RESET
Reset all t e settings to t e defaults.
3.3.7 SAVE & EXIT
Move t e cursor to SAVE & EXIT and click Iris+ to save t e setting and
exit t e menu.
