1.1 NetworkRequirement
BeforeusingtheRD1720,thefollowingrequirementsareneeded:
Abroadbandconnectionincombinationwithawired/wirelessaccesspoint,routerorsimilar
networkdevice.
ThenetworkdeviceneedstosupportWi‐Fi(802.11b/g/n)wirelessconnection.
APCorsmartphonewhichisconnectedtothesamenetworkastheRD1720.Thisisonlyneededin
caseyouwanttostreammusicfromyourPCoryouwanttoremotecontroltheRD1720withDLNA.
1.2 SafetyPrecautions–ReadVeryCarefully!
DonotdroptheRD1720anddonotexposeittoliquid,moistureorhumidity.Thesemightleadto
damagetothedevice.
IftheRD1720ismovedfromacoldintoawarmerenvironment,doletitadapttothenew
temperaturebeforeoperatingitagain.Otherwiseitmightleadtocondensationandcause
malfunctionsinthedevice.
DonotusetheRD1720industyenvironmentasdustcandamagetheinteriorelectronic

CheckifWLANLINK/ACTlightofthewired/wirelessaccesspointorrouterisilluminated.Consultthe
userguideofthatforanyquestions.
Note:WiFiallowsdatatransferovershortdistanceswithin20meterswithoutthe
needofcablingbetweenthedevices.AnywallsorceilingsmayreducethestrengthoftheWiFi
connectivity.
ThereforetrytolocatetheRD1720and/ortheaccesspointwithinthedistancementionedabove,
andavoidanyobstaclesbetweentwodevices.
Now,connectthepoweradaptortothepowerinputatbackoftheRD1720andplugadaptorit
