Important Safety Instructions
For your safety and correct usage,
please read these instructions carefully
before using your new appliance to
avoid unnecessary mistakes and
accidents. Please ensure that all
people using this appliance are familiar
with its operation and safety features.
Keep these instructions in a safe place
for future reference and be sure that
they are kept with the appliance in the
event that it is moved or sold, so that
everyone using it through its life will be
properly informed on its correct
appliance usage and safety. The
manufacturer is not responsible for
damages caused by misuse. The
appliance is for indoor and domestic
use only.
Electrical Information
●The appliance must be plugged into
its own dedicated 115 Volt, 60 Hz.,
15 Amp, AC only electrical outlet.
The power cord of the appliance is
equipped with a three-prong
grounding plugfor your protection
against electrical shock hazards. It
must be plugged directly into a
properly grounded three prong
receptacle. The receptacle must be
installed in accordance with local
codes and ordinances. Consult a
qualified electrician. Avoid
connecting refrigerator to a Ground
Fault Interruptor (GFI) circuit. Do
not use an extension cord or
adapter plug.
●If the power cord is damaged, it
should be replaced by an
authorized service technician to
prevent any risk.
●Never unplug the refrigerator by
pulling on the power cord. Always
grip the plug firmly, and pull
straight out from the receptacle to
prevent damaging the power cord.
●Unplug the refrigerator before
cleaning and before replacing a
light bulb to avoid electrical shock.
●Performance may be affected if the
voltage varies by 10% or more.
Such damage is not covered under
your warranty.

Proper Disposal of your
Refrigerator
Risk of Child Entrapment
Child entrapment and suffocation can
occur when refrigerator is left
unattended.Junked or abandoned
refrigerators are still dangerous –
even if they will sit for
“just a few days”. If you are getting
rid of your old refrigerator, please
follow the instructions below to help
prevent
accidents.
Before you throw away your
old refrigerator:
●Remove doors.
●Leave shelves in place so children
may not easily climb inside.
●Have refrigerant removed by a
qualified service technician.
Installation
Before installing, follow these
important first steps.
Location
Position the appliance away from
sources of heat such as stoves,
radiators, direct sunlight,etc.
Maximum performance and safety are
guaranteed by maintaining the correct
indoor temperature for the class of unit
concerned, as specified on the rating
plate. This appliance performs well
from 12.8 to 43.3℃(55~110℉).The
Appliance may not work properly if it is
left for a longer period at a
temperature above or below the
indicated range.

!IMPORTANT !
There is a need of good ventilation
around the fridge for easy dissipation
of heat, high efficiency of refrigeration
and low power consumption. For this
purpose, sufficient clear space should
be available around the fridge. It
is advisable for there to be 75 mm
(approx. 3 inches)separating the back
of the fridge to the wall, at least
100 mm (approx. 4 inches)of space
at its two sides, and a minimum of
100 mm (approx. 4 inches) from its
top and a clear space upfront to
allow the doors to open 160°.
Appliances must not be exposed to
rain. Sufficient air must be allowed to
circulate in the lower rear section
of appliances, as poor air circulation
can affect performance.
Cleaning
●Wash any removable parts of the
refrigerator interior, and exterior
with mild detergent and warm
water. Wipe dry. Do not use harsh
cleaners on these surfaces.
●Do not use razor blades or other
sharp instruments, which can

!WARNING !
When changing the side at which the
door opens, the appliance must not be
connected to the outlet. Remove plug
from the outlet beforehand.

emperature Control
Insert the plug of the connection lead
into an outlet with protective earth
contact.
The temperature selector knob is
located on the side of the freezer
compartment.
Setting 0 means:
Turning the temperature control to "0"
position stops the cooling cycle, but
does not shut off the power to the
refrigerator.
Turn the knob clockwise to turn the
refrigerating uint on. Coldest setting is
all the way to highest number. The unit
operates automatically at the set
position.If the unit is unplugged, power
lost, or turned off, you must wait 3 to
5 minutes before restarting the unit. If
you attempt to restart before this time
delay, the refrigerator will not start.
Setting 1 means:
Highest temperature, warmest setting.
Setting 8 (end-stop) means:
Lowest temperature, coldest setting.

!IMPORTANT !
Normally we advise you select setting
of 3 or 4, if you want the temperature
warmer or colder please turn the knob
to lower or higher setting accordingly.
Though the unit is energy efficient, it is
more efficient at lower position
settings.

!IMPORTANT !
High ambient temperatures (e.g. on
hot summer days) and a cold setting on
the temperature regulator (position7 to
8) can cause the compressor to run
continuously or even non-stop!
Vacation Tips: If the appliance
will not be used for several
months:
●Remove all food.
●Unplug the power cord.
●Clean and dry thoroughly.
●Leave the door open slightly to
prevent odour and mold
growth .

Cleaning and Care
For hygienic reasons the appliance
interior, including interior accessories,
should be cleaned regularly. The fridge
should be cleaned and maintained at
least every two months.

!Warning ! Danger of
electrical shock !
●The appliance may not be
connected to the outlet during
cleaning! Before cleaning switch the
appliance off and remove the plug
from the mains, or switch off the
circuit breaker or fuse.
●Remove the food from the
appliance before cleaning. Store
food in a cool place and keep well
covered.
●Never clean the appliance with a
steam cleaner. Moisture could
accumulate in electrical
components.
●Hot vapours can lead to the damage
of plastic parts.
●The appliance must be dry before it
is placed back into service.

!IMPORTANT !
●Ethereal oils and organic solvents
can attack plastic parts, e.g. lemon
juice or the juice from orange peel,
butyric acid, and cleansers that
contain acetic acid. Do not allow
such substances to come into
contact with appliance parts.
●Do not use any abrasive cleansers.
●Clean the appliance and the interior
accessories with a cloth and
lukewarm water.Commercially
available dish washing detergents
may also be used.
●After cleaning, wipe with fresh
water and a clean dish cloth.
●Accumulation of dust at the
condenser increases energy
consumption. For this reason
carefully clean the condenser at the
back of the appliance once a year
with a soft brush or a vacuum
cleaner.
●Check the water drain hole on the
rear wall of the refrigerator
compartment.
●Clear a blocked drain hole with the
aid of something like a soft peg. Be
careful not to create any damage to
the cabinet by sharp objects.
●After everything is dry,place
appliance back into service.
Defrosting Your Refrigerator
●To defrost the refrigerator, remove
all food and objects from the
refrigerator. Ensure the drip pan is
in place under the freezer
compartment. Unplug the unit and
ensure the cord is in safe dry
location. The defrost process may
take a few hours. To speed up the
defrost time, keep the door open
and place a bowl of warm water in
the refrigerator. Never use sharp
objects to remove the frost.
●During the defrost cycle, water will
accumulate in the drip tray. The
drip tray may need to be emptied
during the defrost cycle. Do not
leave unattended.
●After defrosting is complete, empty
and wipe down the drip tray, as
well as the interior of the
refrigerator. You may now reset
the refrigerator to the desired
temperature and put the food back
in.

Energy Saving Tips
●Do not place warm foods into the
appliance. Allow warm foods to cool
first. Do not install the appliance
near cookers, radiators or other
sources of warmth. High ambient
temperatures cause longer, more
frequent operation of the compressor
●In order to make the cooling system
work efficiently, please make sure
the side plates and back plate of the
product are with some distance from
the wall. It is strongly recommended
that its back is 75 mm (approx. 3
inches) away from the wall, its sides
at least have a space of 100 mm
(approx. 4 inches) separately and the
height from over its top is not less
than 100 mm (approx. 4 inches).
●When the product works, please do
not open the door too often or leave
the door open any longer than
necessary.
●Do not set temperature any colder
than necessary.
●The direct cooling refrigerator (with
a freezer) needs to be defrosted
when necessary. This will improve
the cold transfer and reduce energy
consumption.
●The sketch map shows the right
combination of the shelves which
can lead to more energy efficiency.
If users adjust the combination, it
may result in more
energy-consumption.
●Store food logically. Do not exceed
the storage period specified.
Trouble Shooting
Correcting Malfunctions
A malfunction may be caused by only a
minor fault that you can rectify yourself
using the following instructions. Do not
perform any other work on the
appliance if the following information
does not provide assistance in your
specific case.

!IMPORTANT !
Repairs to refrigerators/freezers may
only be performed by qualified service
technician. Improper repairs can give
rise to significant hazards for the user.
If your appliance needs repairing,
please contact your specialist dealer or
your local Service Centre.

Carefully warm the leaking
sections of the door seal
with a hair dryer (on a cool
setting). At the same time
shape the warmed door seal
by hand such that it sits
correctly.
Appliance is not level. Readjust the feet.
The appliance is touching the
wall or other objects. Move the appliance slightly.
Unusual noises. A component, e.g. a pipe, on the
rear of the appliance is touching
another part of the appliance or
the wall.
If necessary, carefully bend
the component out of the
way.
The compressor
does not start
immediately after
changing the
temperature setting.
This is normal, no error has
occurred. The compressor starts after
a period of time.
Water on the floor or
storage shelves.
Check that the Drip tray is
housed properly.

Disposal of the appliance
It is prohibited to dispose of this appliance as household waste.
Packaging materials
Packaging materials with the recycle symbol are recyclable. Dispose of the
packaging into a suitable waste collection container to recycle it.
Before disposal of the appliance
1. Pull out the main plug from the main socket.
2. Cut off the power cord and discard with the main plug.
Warning! Refrigerators contain refrigerant and gases in the insulation.
Refrigerant and gases must be disposed of professionally as they may cause eye
injuries or ignition. Ensure that tubing of the refrigerant circuit is not damage
prior to proper disposal.
Correct Disposal of this product
This symbol on the product or in its packing indicates that this
product may not be treated as household waste. Instead, it should
be taken to the appropriate waste collection point for the recycling of
electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is
disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative
consequences for the environment and human health, which could
otherwise be caused by the inappropriate waste handling of this
product. For more detailed information about the recycling of this
product, please contact your local council your household waste
disposal service, or the shop where you purchased the product.

Hisense Refrigerator Limited Warranty
This Hisense refrigerator is covered by a one (1) year limited warranty from the original date of
purchase. Hisense will repair or replace any parts in this appliance that prove to be defective in
materials or workmanship when the appliance is used and maintained according to the user manual
provided with the unit. Cosmetic parts such as doors bins racks and shelves are not covered under
warranty.
Exclusions of warranty
Original serial number has been defaced removed or altered and cannot be read.
Service calls to correct the installation and instructions on how to use the appliance.
Service call to repair or replace appliance house fuse resetting the circuit breaker light bulbs knob
handles and other cosmetic parts.
Service calls which do not involve malfunction or defects in material or workmanship of the
appliance’s ordinary household use or used other than in accordance with the provided instructions.
Product used in a commercial setting.
Food loss due to refrigerator or freezer failure.
Damage to the finish of appliance or home during transportation and installation including but not
limited to floors cabinets walls etc.
Damages caused by: Service performed by unauthorized service centers; use of parts other than
genuine manufacturer parts or external cause such as abuse misuse power supply accidents fire
and acts of God.
Expenses related to transportation loss of income for in-home service or making the appliance
accessible for service.
Surcharge include but not limited to after hour weekend or holiday service ca Is or mileage expense
for service call to remote areas where no service is available.
Disclaimer of implied warranties; Limitation of Remedies
Customer's sole and exclusive remedy under this limited warranty shall be product repair or
replacement as provided herein. The warranty is valid only in Canada and will be voided if attempts
to repair the product by consumer and any servicers not authorized by the manufacturer.
Manufacturer shall not be liable for consequential or incidental damages such as property damage
and incidental expenses resulting from any breach of this written limited warranty or implied warranty.

Installation
Avant l'installation, suivez ces
premières étapes importantes.
Emplacement
Mettre l'appareil loin des sources de
chaleur comme les poêles, radiateurs,
soleil direct etc. La sécurité et le
rendement maximale sont garantis par
le maintien de la température
intérieure adéquate pour la catégorie
de l'unité concernée, tel que spécifié
sur la plaque signalétique. Cet appareil
fonctionne bien entre 12,8 et 43,3 ℃
(55 ~ 110 ℉). L'appareil peut ne pas
fonctionner correctement si laissé
pendant une période plus longue à une
température au-dessus ou au-dessous
de la plage indiquée.

!IMPORTANT !
Une bonne ventilation est requise
autour du réfrigérateur pour une bonne
dissipation de la chaleur, une haute
efficacité de la réfrigération et une
faible consommation d'énergie. À cette
fin, de l'espace libre suffisant devrait
être disponible autour du réfrigérateur.
Il est souhaitable d'avoir 75 mm (2,953
pouces) qui sépare l'arrière du
réfrigérateur au mur, au moins 100 mm
(3,937 po) d'espace aux deux côtés et
un minimum de 100 mm (3,937 po) à
son sommet et d'un espace dégagé à
l'avant afin de permettre l'ouverture
des portes à 160 °.
Les appareils ne doivent pas être
exposés à la pluie. Suffisamment d'air
devrait circuler dans la partie inférieure
arrière des appareils électroménagers,
étant donné que la pauvre circulation
d'air peut affecter le rendement.
Nettoyage
●Lavez toutes les parties amovibles
du réfrigérateur à intérieur et
l'extérieur avec de l'eau chaude et
du détergent doux. Essuyez à sec.
N'utilisez pas de nettoyants rudes
sur ces surfaces.
●Ne pas utiliser de lames de rasoir
ou autres instruments pointus, qui
peuvent rayer la surface de
l'appareil lorsque vous enlevez les
étiquettes adhésives. Tout colle
resté sur le ruban peut être enlevée
avec un mélange d'eau tiède et de
détergent doux ou touchez le résidu
avec le côté collant du ruban déjà
enlevé. Ne pas enlever la plaque du
numéro de série.
Remarque : Avant d'être utilisé une première fois ou après avoir été déplacé, cet article
doit demeurer en position d'utilisation (verticale) pendant au moins 24 heures avant d'être
mis en marche.

Enlevez le capuchon de charnière
supérieure (1).
2.
À l'aide d'un objet tranchant,
retirez les capuchons de bouchon
(5).
3.
Enlevez les deux vis Phillips (2) qui
relient la charnière supérieure (3)
sur le côté droit de la partie
supérieure du cabinet.
4.
Levez soigneusement la porte et la
placer sur une surface matelassée
pour prévenir toute égratignure.
5.
Enlevez le bouchon (9) et le
transférer vers le trou découvert
sur le côté droit. Veillez à appuyer
fermement le capuchon dans le
trou. Retirez les deux boulons (7)
qui tiennent en place la charnière
inférieure (4) sur le côté droit.
6.
Enlevez la patte avant de nivelage
de type vis (8) et la transférer sur
le côté droit, comme le montre la
figure ci-dessous.
7.
Mettre la porte en place dans le
nouvel emplacement en s'assurant
que la goupille pénètre dans la
bague de la section de châssis
inférieur (trou).
8.
Fixer solidement la charnière
supérieure (3), précédemment
enlevée à l'étape 3, sur le côté
gauche. Assurez-vous que la
goupille pénètre dans la bague de
la section de châssis supérieur
(trou).
9.
Fixez légèrement la charnière
gauche inférieure (4) et ne pas
serrer les boulons, jusqu'à ce que
la porte soit en position fermée et
nivelée.
10.
Insérez les capuchons de bouchon
(5) sur les trous découverts (côté
droit).
11.
Replacez le capuchon de charnière
supérieure (1).

!AVERTISSEMENT !
Lors du changement du côté de
l'ouverture de la porte, l'appareil ne doit
pas être connecté à la prise. Retirez la
fiche de la prise au préalable.

Réglage de la température
Insérez la fiche de la broche de
raccordement dans une prise de
courant avec mise à la terre.
Le bouton de réglage de la
température se trouve du côté du
compartiment de congélation.
Réglage 0 signifie :
En mettant le réglage de la
température à la position « 0» vous
arrêtez le cycle de refroidissement,
mais n'arrêtez pas l'alimentation du
réfrigérateur.
Tournez le bouton dans le sens horaire
pour activer l'unité frigorifique. Le
réglage le plus froid correspond au plus
grand nombre. L'unité fonctionne
automatiquement à la position définie.
Si l'unité est débranchée, l'alimentation
coupée, ou est désactivée, vous devez
attendre de 3 à 5 minutes avant de
redémarrer l'unité. Si vous tentez de
redémarrer
avant ce délai, le
réfrigérateur ne démarrera pas.
Réglage 1 signifie :
Température la plus élevée, réglage le
plus chaud.
Réglage 8 (à l'extrémité)
signifie :
Plus basse température, réglage le
plus froid.

!IMPORTANT !
Normalement, nous conseillons que
vous sélectionniez le réglage 3 ou 4, si
vous voulez que la température soit
plus chaude ou plus froide veuillez
tourner le bouton pour un réglage plus
haut ou plus bas. Bien que l'unité soit
éconergétique, elle est plus efficace
lorsque le réglage est plus bas.

!IMPORTANT !
Des températures ambiantes élevées
(par exemple jours chauds de l'été) et
un réglage froid sur le régulateur de
température (position 7 à 8) peuvent
