MULTIMEDIA PROJECTOR 3 SERIES
MULTIMEDIA PROJECTOR
Total Balance Produces Total Power
3 SERIES
Before correction After correction
A Wealth of Input Terminals
To help maximize your presentation
possibilities, the 3 Series are equipped
with two RGB inputs that enable
simultaneous direct connection with
two PCs, along with an RGB output,
a USB terminal for USB mouse
connection, an RS-232C terminal and
a video input terminal.
Digital Keystone Correction Eliminates Trapezoid Distortion
This easy-to-use function removes the trapezoid image effect that occurs when
there is a difference in the relative installation heights of the screen and main unit.
In addition to providing distortion-
free images, digital keystone
correction also improves the
reproduction of edges that tend to
appear notched.
Partial Expansion Function with up to 4 Times Zoom Ratio
The user can expand a section of the on-screen image for added emphasis and the
zoom ratio of the expanded section can be continuously adjusted from 1x to 4x in
both the length and width directions.
Hitachi has also included a tuning
function that allows the expanded
section to be freely moved around
the screen.
Freeze Function Memorizes Video Images for Display as Still Pictures
This function helps to make presentations run more smoothly and smartly by
allowing the user to prepare the next screen while displaying a still image of the
previous screen. Video playback can also be stopped at any point during the
presentation to produce a stable still image with almost no flicker.
16:9 Aspect Ratio Compatibility Allows DVD Video Playback
The 3 Series are capable of decoding the compressed signals that are employed by
many pre-recorded DVD videos to convert wide-screen signals to 4:3 aspect ratio
video signals and converting them
back into their original 16:9 aspect
ratio form. Hitachi has included this
capability to make it easy to enjoy
the full visual impact of dynamic
wide-screen video.
Incorporating a microlens-equipped 0.9-inch polysilicon active-matrix
TFT LCD panel plus a bright and efficient 160W UHB lamp as the light
source, the 3 Series produce unusually high levels of brightness for
extra-bright on-screen images. As a result, they allow the projection of
clear detailed images even in locations where the ambient lighting level
is too bright for conventional mobile projectors to operate.
Hitachi has equipped these projectors with two RGB inputs and one output
and also designed the main unit for easy ceiling-hung installation.
At event sites or in the education field, this combination of features
allows the user to achieve more effective presentation by suspending
the projector from the ceiling while simultaneously connecting it to two
separate PCs. In addition, the digital keystone correction function makes
it easy to compensate for any trapezoid distortion that may occur when
the unit is hung from the ceiling.
Although the 3 Series produce extremely bright images, they are in
every sense mobile projectors. Weighing just 3.2 kg (7 lbs.),
they are very easy to carry to and from meeting
rooms or other presentation sites. Moreover,
the standard accessory carrying case is
convenient for bringing these
projectors on long-distance
trips by plane, train
or car, etc.
Fine re-sizing performs automatic data compensation
Illuminated buttons simplify operation in low-light conditions
Sliding lens cover makes it easy to open and close the lens
Remote controller with mouse function and laser pointer (CP-X325/CP-X320)
Built-in stereo speaker system
Hitachi presents a lineup of advanced
projectors designed to deliver
superior brightness, portability and
ease of installation.
