Battery Replacement
Instructions Tools: Phillips Head Screwdriver & Blue Opener Tool
Step 1
Place the pager on a table and then flip it over so that the display is facing down. After, remove the four screws at each
of the four corners of the pager and place them in a safe location.
Step 2
On the top of the pager, by the digital number, use the opener tool to pry the top and bottom of the pager apart. Then
slide the opener tool along both sides to dislodge the top of the pager from the bottom.
Step 3
Once you have the top of the pager removed, undo the two screws above the display to detach the circuit board.

Step 4
Do not pull the circuit board away from the pager case until you have detached the battery. After removing the two
screws, slowly pull up the circuit board. Detach the white connector going from the battery wires to the circuit board.
Ensure that the pagers side button does not fall out.
Step 5
When the battery is no longer connected to the circuit board, use the opener tool to remove the battery from the
bottom case. Take your new battery, place it in the same location and press down to secure.
Step 6
Once the new battery is attached to the bottom case, connect the battery wires to the connecter on the bottom of the
circuit board.

Step 7
Before replacing the circuit board in the pager, make sure that the side button is still in the side of the pager. If not,
place it back in the proper location. Be sure to also confirm that the contacts are still connected to the bottom of the
circuit board. The pins from the contact will need to be inserted into the connector on the circuit board.
Step 8
After the button is correctly installed, replace the circuit board making sure that the contacts on the bottom of the pager
are lined up. Make sure the motor is lined up with the proper slot. Once the circuit board is replaced, make sure to clean
the displays.

Step 9
Replace the two screws that hold the circuit board in place. Press the side button to make sure that it is working
properly. If working, the display will light up.
Step 10
Replace the top cover. Then flip the pager over and replace the four screws on the back of the pager.
