Some features of the gimbal are disabled until Hohem Joy app is activated. Download
the app to register for free membership and one-year extended warranty. Hohem Joy
supports iOS 10.0 and Android 6.0 or later.

Hohem Joy Bluetooth Connection
Enable the Bluetooth on your smartphone. Launch the Hohem Joy app, click “Start” to
enter the interface for photo taking and recording. Do not connect your phone to the
gimbal straight from the settings of your Bluetooth connection; only connect to the
gimbal using the Hohem Joy app.

Landscape Mode: Mounting and Balancing
•Do not turn on the gimbal without roughly balanced and smartphone mounted
on!
•Highly recommended to remove the phone case before mounting your phone.
•For increasing motor efficiency and stabilization, and saving gimbal battery life,
you could roughly balance the gimbal before turning it on.
•For smartphone with screen size bigger than 17 centimetres (e.g. iPhone 13 Pro
Max), iSteady Mobile Plus can work well even without a perfect balancing before
powering on.
First, pull the phone clamp and mount the phone. Then push the phone into the clamp
as far as it goes.
Loosen the knob, and slide the arm to balance the gimbal.
Tighten the knob and long press the power button to power the device on.

Portrait Mode: Mounting and Balancing
•Please turn off the gimbal first, then rotate the phone clamp and mount the
phone.
•Do not turn on the gimbal without roughly balanced and smartphone mounted
on!
Loosen the knob, slide the arm to the leftmost and tighten the knob. Rotate the phone
clamp by 90 degrees.
Pull the phone clamp and mount the phone. Adjust the phone up or down to roughly
balance the gimbal. Make the phone roughly balanced, and long press the power button
to power the device on.

Quick Switch to Portrait Mode
Rotate the handle to automatically switch to portrait mode.
Note: After you switch to the portrait mode, the joystick will only control the phone to
rotate left and right.
Also note that the quick switch cannot be done when in POV mode, when the handle is
perpendicular, or when the app setting of left/right joystick is set to roll.

Operation Instructions
1. Joystick: Push up/down for tilt control, push left/right for pan control.
2. Mode indicator:
a. PF: Pan Follow
b. PTF: Pan & Tilt Follow
c. L: All locked
d. POV: All Follow & Inception
3. Slider: Focus/Zoom in & out (only available through the Hohem Joy app)
4. Bluetooth indicator:
a. Solid green: Gimbal is connected with the phone through Bluetooth.
b. Solid red: Gimbal is experiencing some abnormality.
c. Flashing red: Either low battery (the gimbal will automatically shut down)
or the gimbal is overloaded (beep warning).
d. Yellow light: Remote control is being used. Note that the remote control
must be bought separately. See the user manual of the remote control to
know how to operate it.
e. Light off: The gimbal is disconnected from the phones Bluetooth.
5. Mode button:
a. Single press: Switch mode.
b. Triple press: 600° auto inception (press the mode button to stop the
rotation).
c. Press five times: Auto calibration.
6. Power on/off button:
a. Long press for three seconds to turn the device on/off.
b. Single press: Take photo, start/end video.
c. Double press: Switch photo/video modes (only available through the
Hohem Joy app).
d. Triple press: Switch front/rear camera (only available through the Hohem
Joy app).
7. Trigger button:
a. Press on: Sport mode.
b. Press once, and then press and hold: L (all locked).
c. Double press: Recentre the gimbal.

Gimbal Mode Button
PF (Pan Follow)
Default mode, tilt & roll axis are both locked, camera
is able to move left or right smoothly.
PTF (Pan & Tilt Follow)
Roll axis is locked, camera is able to move to
left/right, and tilt up/down.
L (All Locked)
The camera stays in its current orientation.
POV (All Follow & Inception)
All Follow – Tilt axis, roll axis and pan axis all follow
the movement of the gimbal.
Inception – hold the gimbal horizontally and push
the joystick to left or right.
Tap the button to switch to
different working modes.

Auto Calibration
Auto calibration could reduce drift caused by nearby magnetic interference or human
error.
First, place the gimbal on a flat surface using a tripod. Then double press the trigger
button to recentre the gimbal. Then press the mode button five times to start the auto
calibration. Please do not touch the gimbal during the calibration. Finally, two beeps
indicate that the calibration is completed, the gimbal will recentre and automatically
return to normal operation.
Notes:
•If the gimbal is not placed on a flat surface for calibration (e.g. hand-held
calibration in the car), it may cause calibration failure.
•When the calibration fails, the gimbal will make a beep sound, all four mode
lights flash and enter the sleep mode. Single press any button (except the
joystick) to wake up the gimbal and follow the above steps to try again.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the gimbal vibrate after powering on?
•Make sure to mount the mobile phone before powering on the gimbal.
•When mounting the phone, please keep the bottom of the phone close to the
motor.
•It is highly recommended to remove the phone case before mounting your
phone, especially for big phones such as iPhone 13 Pro Max.
•If the mobile phone is too heavy or too light, adjust the motor power through the
app (Hohem Joy-Settings-Motor response).
•Please refer to “Auto calibration” above to calibrate the gimbal.
Why does the gimbal not work properly, and all four mode lights are flashing?
When you hold the upper part of the gimbal (e.g. motor or arm), it may cause gimbal
enter the sleep mode due to the protection of the motor. Single press any button
(except the joystick) to wake up the gimbal, and only hold the handle during use.

Why the phone app cannot be connected with the gimbal via Bluetooth?
First, enable the Bluetooth on your phone (enable ONLY). Then turn on the gimbal. After
that, launch the Hohem Joy app and connect Bluetooth in the app through pop-up
prompt or Bluetooth search interface. The device name is “iM5-xxxxxx”). Click the device
to connect to it. It is important that the Bluetooth connection is established using the
app. If the connection fails, please exit the app, restart the Bluetooth, follow the above
steps and try again.
To delete all paired Bluetooth devices, push the slider up while simultaneously pressing
the mode button.
Some connections with Android phones fail due to restrictions from the phones side. In
that case, be sure that the Android phone has location services enabled and that the
app has location services enabled.

A new product purchased in the Alza.cz sales network is guaranteed for 2 years. If you
need repair or other services during the warranty period, contact the product seller
directly, you must provide the original proof of purchase with the date of purchase.
The following are considered to be a conflict with the warranty conditions, for
which the claimed claim may not be recognized:
•Using the product for any purpose other than that for which the product is intended
or failing to follow the instructions for maintenance, operation, and service of the
product.
•Damage to the product by a natural disaster, the intervention of an unauthorized
person or mechanically through the fault of the buyer (e.g., during transport,
cleaning by inappropriate means, etc.).
•Natural wear and aging of consumables or components during use (such as
batteries, etc.).
•Exposure to adverse external influences, such as sunlight and other radiation or
electromagnetic fields, fluid intrusion, object intrusion, mains overvoltage,
electrostatic discharge voltage (including lightning), faulty supply or input voltage and
inappropriate polarity of this voltage, chemical processes such as used power
supplies, etc.
•If anyone has made modifications, modifications, alterations to the design or
adaptation to change or extend the functions of the product compared to the
purchased design or use of non-original components.

Připojení Bluetooth Hohem Joy
Povolte funkci Bluetooth ve smartphonu. Spusťte aplikaci Hohem Joy a kliknutím na
"Start" vstupte do rozhraní pro pořizování fotografií a nahrávání. Nepřipojujte telefon ke
gimbalu přímo z nastavení připojení Bluetooth; připojte se ke gimbalu pouze pomocí
aplikace Hohem Joy.

Režim na šířku: Montáž a vyvážení
•Nezapínejte gimbal, aniž by byl zhruba vyvážen a nasazen smartphone!
•Důrazně doporučujeme před montáží telefonu sejmout pouzdro.
•Pro zvýšení účinnosti motoru a stabilizace a úsporu životnosti baterie gimbalu
byste mohli gimbal před zapnutím zhruba vyvážit.
•U smartphonů s obrazovkou větší než 17 cm (např. iPhone 13 Pro Max) může
iSteady Mobile Plus dobře fungovat i bez dokonalého vyvážení před zapnutím.
Nejprve vytáhněte svorku telefonu a telefon nasaďte. Poté zatlačte telefon do svorky,
dokud to jde.
Uvolněte knoflík a posuňte rameno, abyste gimbal vyvážili.
Utáhněte knoflík a dlouhým stisknutím tlačítka napájení zařízení zapněte.

Režim na výšku: Montáž a vyvážení
•Nejprve gimbal vypněte, poté otočte svorku telefonu a telefon nasaďte.
•Nezapínejte gimbal, aniž by byl zhruba vyvážen a nasazen smartphone!
Uvolněte knoflík, posuňte rameno úplně doleva a knoflík utáhněte. Otočte svorku
telefonu o 90 stupňů.
Vytáhněte svorku telefonu a nasaďte telefon. Nastavte telefon nahoru nebo dolů tak,
aby byl gimbal přibližně vyvážený. Ujistěte se, že je telefon zhruba vyvážený, a dlouhým
stisknutím tlačítka napájení zařízení zapněte.

Rychlé přepnutí do režimu na výšku
Otočením rukojeti se automaticky přepne do režimu na výšku.
Poznámka: Po přepnutí do režimu na výšku bude joystick ovládat pouze otáčení
telefonu doleva a doprava.
Je nutné poznamenat, že rychlé přepnutí nelze provést v režimu POV, když je rukojeť
kolmá nebo když je nastavení aplikace levý/pravý joystick nastaveno na rolování.

Návod k obsluze
1. Joystick: Stisknutím tlačítka nahoru/dolů se ovládá náklon, stisknutím tlačítka
doleva/doprava se ovládá otáčení.
2. Indikátor režimu:
a. PF: Pan Follow
b. PTF: Pan & Tilt Follow
c. L: Všechny osy uzamčeny
d. POV: All Follow & Inception
3. Posuvník: Zaostření/Zvětšení a zmenšení (dostupné pouze prostřednictvím
aplikace Hohem Joy)
4. Indikátor Bluetooth:
a. Svítí zeleně: Gimbal je připojen k telefonu prostřednictvím Bluetooth.
b. Svítí červeně: Gimbal vykazuje nějakou abnormalitu.
c. Bliká červeně: buď slabá baterie (gimbal se automaticky vypne), nebo je
gimbal přetížen (zvukové upozornění).
d. Žluté světlo: Používá se dálkové ovládání. Upozorňujeme, že dálkové
ovládání je třeba zakoupit zvlášť. Informace o ovládání dálkového ovládání
naleznete v návodu k obsluze dálkového ovládání.
e. Vypnuté světlo: Gimbal je odpojen od Bluetooth telefonu.
5. Tlačítko Mode:
a. Jediné stisknutí: Přepínání režimu.
b. Trojité stisknutí: 600° auto inception (stisknutím tlačítka Mode rotaci
zastavíte).
c. Pětkrát stiskněte tlačítko: Automatická kalibrace.
6. Tlačítko zapnutí/vypnutí:
a. Dlouhým stisknutím na tři sekundy zařízení zapnete/vypnete.
b. Jediné stisknutí: Pořídit fotografii, spustit/ukončit video.
c. Dvojité stisknutí: Přepínání režimů foto/video (dostupné pouze
prostřednictvím aplikace Hohem Joy).
d. Trojité stisknutí: Přepínání přední/zadní kamery (dostupné pouze
prostřednictvím aplikace Hohem Joy).
7. Tlačítko spouště:
a. Stiskněte a podržte tlačítko:Sportovní režim.
b. Jednou stiskněte a poté stiskněte a podržte: L (vše uzamčeno).
c. Dvojité stisknutí: Vycentrujte gimbal.
