• Please always contact the Retailer or the Authorized
Technical Service for installation of the Weekly Timer.
Users must not install the Weekly Timer by themselves.
A wrong installation may cause electric shocks, injuries
or fire.
Do not spray inflammable liquid on the Weekly Timer, or fire
may be caused.
Do not operate with wet hands.
Do not let water go into the Weekly Timer, to avoid the danger
of electric shocks.

Do observe the following Safety Precautions, for they are very important.
Before reading the text, please be familiar with the following markers and icons, and comply
with the Precautions.
• The User must never attempt to install or repair the Weekly Timer by himself.
• A strict observance of the following instructions will prevent personal hurt and incidents to the
User. Moreover, correct operation and long life of the appliance will be ensured.

If you want to move or re-install your Weekly Timer, please
always contact the Authorized Technical Service.
Do not disassemble your Weekly Timer.
If you need to disassemble the Weekly Timer, please contact
the Authorized Technical Service.
A wrong disassembly may cause abnormal operation or
overheating, which may result in fire.

INDICATORS ON WEEKLY TIMER
1. OPERATION MODE INDICATION:
When you press “MODE” button and “ADD” or “REDUCE” button, operation mode changes
according to the following sequence:
Heat Cool Off.
2. FAN SPEED INDICATION:
There are 4 fan speeds: High, Middle, Low, Auto.
Some Models of air conditioner do not have Middle fan speed: if Middle speed is selected,
indoor fan will run at High speed.
4. TEMPERATURE INDICATION:
Room temperature display.
5. WEEKLY SCHEDULE CONTROLLER SWITCH INDICATION:
Displays the state of Weekly Timer: On - Off.
3. ERROR CODES:
Display of Error Codes, which indicates malfunctions on the Unit or on the System.

INDICATORS ON WEEKLY TIMER
7. DATE INDICATION:
Display of Month - Day - Year.
6. “CURRENTLY” SETTING INDICATION:
Display of a Temporary setting (Operation Mode, Fan Speed, Temperature). In this way -
without Timer setting - the appliance simply operates as a Remote Controller.
8. TIME INDICATION:
Display of Hour - Minutes.
9. PERIOD INDICATION:
Display of programmed operation: 1 ~ 8 periods.
10. LOCK INDICATION:
If you press “LOCK” button by a pointed article, all buttons of Weekly Timer are disabled
and the programmed setting cannot be changed.
11. WEEK INDICATION:
Display of the week’s days: Sun ~ Sat.

BUTTONS ON WEEKLY TIMER
2. FAN BUTTON:
Press this button to select fan speed.
Fan speed changes in sequence by pressing ADD or REDUCE button: press these buttons
to select High, Middle, Low or Auto speed.
Note: Some Models of Air Conditioner do not foresee Middle fan speed: if Middle fan speed is
selected, fan will run at High speed.
Press CONFIRM button to save and exit the function.
1. MODE BUTTON:
Press this button to select Operation Mode.
Operation Mode changes in sequence by pressing ADD or REDUCE button: press these
buttons to select Heat, Cool or Off.
Press CONFIRM button to save and exit the function.
3. EDIT BUTTON:
Press this button to select the Period (1 ~ 8) for programmed time setting and carry out the
time selections.
4. DATE BUTTON:
Press this button to set current date (year - month - day).
Setting can be changed by pressing ADD or REDUCE button.
Press CONFIRM button to save and exit the function.

5. WEEKLY TIMER BUTTON:
Hidden button for turning on/off the Weekly Timer.
Please use the point of a pencil or a pointed article to press this button.

6. RESET BUTTON:
Hidden button. Press RESET button by the point of a pencil or by a pointed article: the
display will light up for 2 seconds and all settings will be cancelled.
Factory default’s settings will be restored.
7. LOCK BUTTON:
Hidden button. Press LOCK button by the point of a pencil or by a pointed article: all the
Weekly Timer ‘s buttons are disabled, therefore all settings are locked and cannot be modified.
In LOCK mode, if a blackout takes place, settings will be locked also when power supply is
restored.
Press LOCK button again to exit lock function and allow current settings’ modification
again.
8. CANCEL BUTTON:
Press this button to cancel a wrong setting or to exit LOCK function.
9. QUERY BUTTON:
Button for checking settings.
Press CANCEL button to exit the function; press CONFIRM button to display the next
parameter for programmed time setting: in sequence, there are the Week’s Day, the Period
(1 ~ 8), the Hour for Start and Hour for Stop, the Operation Mode and Fan Speed, and
finally the set Temperature.
At each parameter, press ADD and REDUCE buttons to set your desirec selection.
Press CONFIRM button to save the setting and enter the next parameter, till the end of the
subsequent 8 Periods for programmed time setting.
Press CANCEL button to exit the function.
10. REDUCE BUTTON:
Used for changing setting parameters and reducing numerical values.
11. ADD BUTTON:
Used for changing setting parameters and adding numerical values.
12. CONFIRM BUTTON:
To save the setting. This button is also used to enter the next function.
13. TIME BUTTON:
Press this button to set current time.
Please use ADD & REDUCE buttons to adjust hour. Press CONFIRM button to save, then
press ADD & REDUCE buttons again to adjust minutes.
Press CONFIRM button to save.

TIMER SETTING
1. Press EDIT button. You will enter Programmed Time Setting Function: the Weekly Timer
foresees 8 Periods for Programmed Time Setting.
2. First Programmed Time Period:please select the Week’s Day by pressing ADD or REDUCE
button.
3. Press CONFIRM button. The Week’s Day is set, and you will enter the next parameter:
in sequence, the Period will flash, followed by the Hour for Start and the Hour of Stop, the
Operation Mode, the Fan Speed and the set Temperature.
At each parameter, press ADD / REDUCE buttons to make the desired selections, and press
CONFIRM button to complete setting of each parameter.
Please repeat the procedure till ending the 8 Periods of Programmed Time Setting.

Warning!
Before setting the Timer, please correctly set current date (by pressing DATE, ADD / REDUCE
and CONFIRM buttons) and current hour (by pressing TIME, ADD / REDUCE e CONFIRM
buttons).
To exit TIMER setting: press CANCEL button.
To cancel TIMER settings: press RESET button.
Note:after pressing RESET button, “°C” icon corresponding to Temperature flashes
(temperature expressed in Centigrade). If you press ADD button, temperature is expressed
Fahrenheit degree (“°F” icon). Press ADD button again to go back to °C.
Confirm your desired selection by pressing CONFIRM button.

TEMPORARY SETTING
1. Press MODE button and select “HEAT” or “COOL” mode by pressing ADD / REDUCE
buttons.
If you select “Off”, the Weekly Timer will turn off.
After selecting your desired Operation Mode, press CONFIRM button to complete the
setting.
3. Press ADD & REDUCE buttons to select your desired Temperature.
Press CONFIRM button to complete the setting.
2. Press FAN button to select fan speed by pressing ADD / REDUCE buttons: it is possible
to choose among High, Mid, Low or Auto speed. As some Models of air conditioner do not
have Middle fan speed, if Middle fan speed is selected, indoor fan will run at High speed.
After selecting Fan Speed, press CONFIRM button to complete the selection.

In case you need operation during a period non included in the programmed time setting,
the Weekly Timer will operate without Timer function - as a simply Remote Controller -
and it will display the indication “Currently”.
To exit Temporary Time Setting, press CANCEL button.

QUERY FUNCTION
1. Press QUERY button: the first parameter which is displayed is the Week’s Day (Sun ~ Sat).
2. Press ADD or CONFIRM button if you would like to change the setting.
3. Press CONFIRM button to save the setting and to enter the next parameter.
There are the following parameters in sequence: after the Week’s Day, the Period (1 ~ 8)
for Programmed Time Setting, the Hour for Start and the Hour of Stop, the set Operation
Mode (Heat, Cool), the Fan Speed (High, Middle, Low, Auto) and the set Temperature.
At each parameter, press ADD or REDUCE button to set your desired selection.
Press CONFIRM button to save the setting and enter the next parameter, until the end of the
subsequent 8 Periods for Programmed Time Setting.
QUERY Function
QUERY function allows to check - and eventually to change - the different parameters of
settings carried out by the Weekly Timer.
The Weekly Timer allows 8 Periods for Programmed Time Setting.
To exit QUERY function: press CANCEL button.
To cancel QUERY function: press RESET button.

WEEKLY TIMER'S USAGE CONDITIONS & CONNECTION
When a Weekly Schedule Controller is needed, a small 2-core wire and 3-cores wire should
be added. Connect with same color.
USAGE CONDITIONS OF DTWT - IHXR WEEKLY TIMER:

CONNECTING METHOD:
1. Power Supply: 5V DC.
2. Operation Temperature: -15°C ~ +43°C.
3. Operation Humidity: 45% - 90% RH.
Main Functions:
1. Connecting to Indoor Unit by +5V, E, X, Y, E terminal.
2. Buttons for setting action modes.
3. LCD Display.
4. TIMER for every week.
