oW res (16ga or larger recommended)
2.1 Soldering your wires
The battery connector must be added to the power s de of the controller. The pos t ve s
labeled + and negat ve -. The polar ty MUST BE CORRECT or the controller w ll be damaged.
Str p enough nsulat on off of the w res to solder on your battery connector and to the
controller leads. After the connector s soldered and nsulated check one more t me to make
sure the polar ty s correct before plugg ng n a battery.
Solder your motor d rectly to the ESC or solder w res w th bullets that match your motors
needs. 4 mm s ndustry standard for 1/10th scale appl cat ons
2.2 Motor direction
After n t at on - f the motor runs backwards wh le the ESC l ght s green, swap any two
motor w res to reverse the d rect on of the motor. Alternat vely, reverse motor d rect on n
the AM32 programmer
2.3 Connecting to the receiver
Connect the rece ver lead to the throttle channel on your rece ver. Do not connect a battery
or external BEC to the rece ver unless the red w re s removed from the ESC’s rece ver lead.
Be sure to nsert plug w th correct polar ty.
3.0 Calibration
Turn on the system by plugg ng n your battery. The ESC should beep to nd cate arm ng,
beep the number of l po cells to autodetect cutoff voltage, and then be s lent and ready for
act on. Please v ew the v deo gu de f you want to hear the tones. If your ESC beeps qu ckly
and cont nuous, t nd cates that the rad o s gnal s not detected. Be sure your RX s on,
bound, and the RX plug s correct nto the RX.
4.0 Using your ESC
After arm ng, the ESC s ready to use. There s no on/off sw tch on th s ESC, so the battery
must be unplugged after use to avo d battery damage.
