The LED-Box in combination with the HOMAG CUBE controls the LED-stripes for realization of

This equipment is not suitable for use in locations, where children are likely to be present.

1 Functions/sequences
The LED-Box can light 1 to 3 LED-Stripes at
the same time. To enable the function, a
HOMAG CUBE and the App „HOMAG
production Assist“, or „HOMAG material
Assist“ is required.
The app suitable, for the application, must be
connected to the corresponding hardware
during initial commissioning. After that the
function is given and the LED strips can be
controlled via the app.
2Operation
Note:
The LED box may only be used indoors.
It should also not be exposed to direct
sunlight or heat radiation.
Caution:
Do not look directly into the LED strips for a
long time during operation. This could be
harmful for the eyes.

2.1 Connections

Note:
Only connect the LED box to suitable power
grids. Therefore, please observe the
information on the nameplate.
Main switch LED-Box 2.2
Ethernet connection ETH1
Port for connecting Ethernet cable to
HOMAG CUBE (2.3)
Ports for LED-stripes XD101-103 (2.4)
The LED strips can be connected here in any
order.
Nevertheless, it is recommended to connect
the LED strips in the correct order.
Note:
Only connect the included LED-stripes or
from HOMAG as accessories available
stripes to the LED-Box.
Never try to connect other strips to the
device.
Warning:
Never shorten the supplied LED strips.

2.2 Assembly
For the assembly, please observe the
information in the enclosed installation
instructions.
2.3 Putting into operation
For putting the system into operation, a
mobile device is required (a Tablet as
example).
You also need a HOMAG CUBE.
ØOn the mobile device you have to install
one of the Apps „HOMAG production
Assist“, or „HOMAG material Assist“.
These Apps you will find in GooglePlay-Store
or App Store.
Note:
For login into the App, you will need a Tapio-
account.
In the App, settings for the LED-stripes can
be set.
Further information for installation and
operation can be found in the corresponding
App.

ØConnect LED-Stripes to the LED-Box
(XD 101, XD 102, XD 103). Therefore,
open the cover of the plug contacts and
plug in the connection cable.
The order is not important here. They can
be plugged in any order. Nevertheless, it is
recommended to connect the LED strips in
the correct order.
ØThen check, whether the plug is properly
engaged by pulling the plug slightly.

ØConnect Ethernet cable from HOMAG
CUBE to LED-Box „ETH 1“. Therefore,
open the cover of the plug contacts and
plug in the Ethernet cable.
ØThen check whether the plug is properly
engaged by pulling the plug slightly
ØCheck whether the switch is set to „0“ (Off).
ØIf not, set the switch to „0“ (Off).
ØConnect power plug to the LED-Box
„XD 1“.
ØThen connect the other end of the power
cable to thepower grid. To do this, plug the
end into a suitable socket.
ØNow switch on the LED-Box. Therefore.
Set the switch to „1“ (On).
Note:
Please observe the power supply
specifications on the nameplate.

3 Routine maintenance/ care
Cleaning:
Cleaning should always be done with a
slightly damp cloth. For light soiling it is
usually sufficient to clean the surface with
water. Gentle cleaners such as liquid
detergents are suitable as cleaning agents.
After cleaning, wipe the surface with a dry
cloth to avoid any remaining traces of water.
Please make absolutely sure that the
cleaning is not too wet.
Note:
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents,
scouring agents or scouring sponges to clean
the box.
Do not spray or pour any liquids directly onto
the device.

4 Troubleshooting
If the box continues to malfunction, please
contact a service technician ((Service).
Warning:
Only a qualified electrician, with appropriate
training is permitted, to open the housing of
the LED box.
Danger:
Unplug the power cable before opening
the housing.
