ASSEMBLY TIPS
Read all instructions BEFORE assembly.
Remove all hardware from box and sort by size.
Check to see that all hardware and parts are present BEFORE assembling.
Ask a friend to assist you with the assembly of this furniture.
To avoid damage, assemble the unit on a sturdy, level and non-abrasive surface.
Please wait until all steps are completed before tightening bolts.
Make sure all bolts are tightly fastened before the unit is used.
This unit is intended for use only with the maximum weights
indicated. Use with products heavier than the maximum weights indicated may
result in instability causing possible injury.
MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED WEIGHT LOADS
WARNING
Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tip-over.
To help prevent tip-over:
 Place heaviest items in the lowest drawer, shelf.
 Do not set TVs or other heaviest objects on the top of this product.
 Never open more than one drawer at a time and never allow children to climb or
hang on drawers, doors, or shelves.
Use of tip-over restraints may only reduce, but not eliminate, the risk of tip-over.
This is a permanent label. Do not attempt to remove!

before beginning assembly.
A- Metal Bracket (x 4) B- M3.5x16 mm Flat Head Screw (x 16) C-Cam Lock (x 3)
D- Cam Bolt (x 3) E- M8x30 mm Dowel (x 2) F- Plastic Cover (x 3)
Tools required (not provided): Rubber mallet, Phillips screwdriver

Assembly Instructions
1. Securely screw 3 Cam Bolts (D) into the designated small holes on the Shelf (1), as shown. Pick up the Shelf
Molding (2) and insert 3 Cam Locks (C) into the side holes. Be sure the cross slot on the Cam Lock faces out
and the arrow on the Cam Lock points towards the Cam Bolt entry. Insert 2 Wood Dowels (E) into the inner
holes of the Shelf Molding (2) and attach it to the Shelf (1) by connecting three Cam Locks (C), as shown.
Make sure that the Cam Locks face inward.
2. Position 4 Metal Brackets (A) onto the Shelf (1) so that the mounting holes on the short right angle side overlap
the pilot holes, as shown below. Make sure that the long right angle sides of Metal Brackets (A) are even with
the edges of the Shelf (1). Connect the Metal Brackets (A) to the Shelf (1) with two M3.5*16mm Flat Head
Screws (B) per bracket by a Phillips screwdriver. Press 3 Plastic Covers (F) to cover the Cam Locks, as shown.

Assembly Instructions
3. Carefully position the Base units at desired location. Make sure they are in line and spaced approximately
35-3/4 inches apart for shelf clearance.
4. Position assembled Shelf between the two companion cabinets making sure the back edges and top surfaces
are even with each other. Ask for assistance to hold the shelf in place and insert the M3.5x16 mm Flat Head
Screws (B) through the countersunk holes on the Metal Brackets (A) and securely screw in place.

Care and Maintenance
Use a soft, clean cloth that will not scratch the surface when dusting.
Use of furniture polishes is not necessary. Should you choose to use polishes, test in an
inconspicuous area first.
Using solvents of any kind on your furniture may damage the finish.
Never use water to clean your furniture as it may cause damage to the finish.
Always use coasters under beverage glasses and flowerpots.
Liquid spills should be removed immediately. Using a soft clean cloth, blot the spill gently. Avoid
rubbing.
Always use protective pads under hot dishes and plates. Heat can cause chemical changes that may
create spotting within the furniture finish.
Stains or marks from crayons or ink markers will be difficult to remove.
In the event that your furniture is stained or otherwise damaged during use, we recommend that you
call a professional to repair your furniture.
Check bolts/screws periodically and tighten them if necessary.
Further advice about wood furniture care
It is best to keep your furniture in a climate controlled environment. Extreme temperature and
humidity changes can cause fading, warping, shrinking and splitting of wood. It is advised to keep
furniture away from direct sunlight as may damage the finish.
Proper care and cleaning at home will extend the life of your purchase. Follow the important and
helpful tips that will enhance your furniture as it ages.
