Thank you for choosing HomeChoice cookware!
This ECHELON cookware is made from top-quality stainless steel which is great to cook
with and easy to clean. We want to help you care for it in the best possible way so it can
retain its beautiful look year after year, so please read these instructions carefully.
Before the rst use
Clean your ECHELON cookware carefully with warm soapy water and dry it thoroughly.
Features and benets
• ECHELON cookware is made of top-quality 18/8 stainless steel and has durable
riveted stainless steel handles.
• Its 6.5mm aluminium base is encapsulated in stainless steel and allows for quick
and even heat distribution.
• ECHELON cookware is suitable for all hobs including induction.
Notes for cooking
• ECHELON cookware is designed to distribute heat evenly during the cooking
process so you
can cook on the low to medium setting and preserve the vital nutrients of your food.
• Be sure to always select the correctly sized stove plate for the pot you are using.
• Don’t allow your cookware’s handles to extend over a hot stove plate – this could
result in damage to the handles.
• Don’t leave your cookware unattended while cooking – this could result in dry boiling
which causes damage.
Thermometer knobs
• Our innovative thermometer knobs show the temperature inside the pot so you do not
need to remove the lid to check on your food while cooking.
This saves electricity and keeps the nutrients locked in your meals.
• There are three cooking stages shown on the thermometer knobs:
Low – Start cooking when the needle is in this colour zone.
Medium – This is the optimal temperature zone to cook in.
High – When the needle is in this zone, the pot is extremely hot and your food
might burn. Reduce the temperature to prevent damage to your cookware.
• Don’t put lids with thermometer knobs in the oven.
• Keep thermometer knobs clean by simply wiping them with a damp cloth.
Lids
• Your cookware will perform best on the stove when the lid is on. It will also save you time
and costly electricity or gas.
• The innovative design of ECHELON lids lets cooking steam drip down into the pot,
creating a vacuum seal, which prevents the nutrients in your food from escaping.
• The additional 20cm, 24cm and 26cm lids with stainless steel handles included in
the set are oven proof enabling you to use your cookware in the oven as well.
Care and cleaning
• Don’t pour cold water onto your cookware while it is hot.
• Remove burnt food by soaking your cookware overnight.
• Don’t use steel wool or abrasive cleaning products on your cookware.
• Thermometer knobs are not dishwasher-safe and it is best to wash lids by hand.
However, you can wash the pot or pan in a dishwasher.
