MAINTENANCE:

performed by the m nuf cturer, service center or qu lified profession l personnel.
• Stop use if there is n unusu l noise or smell. Servicing should be performed by qu lified personnel only.
• Humidifier should be unplugged when not in use for long period of time.
• Do not touch the w ter in the m in unit or the p rts in the w ter when the unit is on.
• Never oper te unit without w ter in the t nk. Only use w ter in the t nks.
• Never dd ny dditive to the w ter th t is not produced or under the supervision of the m nuf cturer.
• Do not w sh, djust or move the humidifier without first unplugging the unit from its electric l outlet.

If the plug on this ppli nce is d m ged, it c n be repl ced with BS 1363 plug,
fitted with 3A BS 1362 fuse. Only use 3 mp fuse with this ppli nce. C re must

UNIQUE FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS:
Ultrasonic Technology
This humidifier uses ultrasonic high frequency technology to convert the water into particles that are
dispersed into the air evenly. These particles then combine with the ions generated by the humidifier to
moisten the air.
Digital Humidity Level Display
The humidifier measures and displays the room’s humidity on the LED display.
Night Light
A useful night light feature is included for your convenience.
Auto Shut Off Protection
When the tanks are empty the unit will shut off automatically.
Advanced Multi-Protection
The humidifier shuts off automatically if the water tank is removed OR unit is overloaded.
Ultrasonic Nebulizer and Radiator
The humidifier utilizes special spray techniques and the ultrasonic nebulizer and radiator is easy to clean for
lifetime use.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1. Plug the unit into a 220-240 AC power supply. Press the POWER button to start the unit. A green indicator
light will be on. Press again to turn off. When the indicator turns red, the water tanks need refilling (Fig. 2).
2. Setting the TIMER:
a. Press the TIMER + or – button to set the running time for the unit.
b. Timer settings from 1–12 hours are possible.
c. 3 seconds after you stop pressing the TIMER button the LED screen will switch to display the humidity
indoors.
d. Pressing the MINUS (–) button until it reads 00 will turn the timer function off.
3. The UV FILTRATION indicator light is blue during operation. If the UV bulb fails, the UV FILTRATION indicator
light turns red and the UV bulb inside the unit should be replaced (Fig. 2). See Cleaning and Care section.
4. Press the WARM button to activate heated mist. The indicator in the WARM button will blink red. Press
again to turn the heat off (Fig. 2).
5. Press the NIGHT LIGHT ( ) button to turn on the night light around the Mist Setting control. Press again to
turn the night light off (Fig. 2).
6. To increase the mist output, turn the MIST ( ) control clockwise (to the right). To decrease mist
output, turn counter-clockwise (to the left).
ATTENTION: When the water in the water tank needs to be filled the red indicator light on the power button
will turn on and the power will shut off to indicate to the user to refill water.

HOW TO FILL
CAUTION: Before filling unit with water, turn power off and unplug unit from outlet.
1. Grasp tank handles with both hands and lift up from humidifier base (Fig.3).
2. Turn the tank upside down—remove the tank cap by turning it counter-clockwise (Fig.4).
3. Fill the water tank with clean, cool tap water. We recommend using distilled water if you live in a hard water
area (Fig.5).
4. Replace the tank cap by turning clockwise until tight (Fig.6).
5. Install both tanks back on the base of the unit. Make sure the tanks are firmly seated (Fig.7).
ABOUT WHITE DUST
Use of high-mineral content hard water will cause a white mineral residue to accumulate on room surfaces
near the humidifier. The mineral residue is commonly called "white dust". The higher the mineral content (the
harder your water is), the greater the potential for white dust. The white dust is not caused by a defect in the
humidifier, but is due only to minerals suspended in the water.
Demineralization Cartridge
(They look like blue “capsules” and are included in a separate bag)
The HoMedics demineralization cartridge will help reduce the potential for white dust, a deposit of minerals
left behind from using hard water in your humidifier. The cartridge should be replaced every 30-40 fillings.
The cartridge may need to be replaced more often when very hard water is used. When the cartridge needs to
be changed, white dust will form around the humidifier. If white residue still forms around the humidifier after
a new cartridge has been inserted, please make sure that the water you are using is untreated. If you live in a
hard water area, we recommend the use of distilled water for better results from the humidifier. Do not
use with water softeners.
Installing Instructions
1. Remove demineralization cartridge from packaging and let it soak in water for 10 minutes.
2. Remove the tank from humidifier base and turn it over.
3. Unscrew the tank cap by turning the cap counter-clockwise.
4. Fill the tank with water as shown in the How To Fill Section.
5. Add 1 blue demineralization cartridge into the tank.
6. Replace the tank cap by turning clockwise.
7. Place the tank back on the base.

UV Bulb Replacement
1. Turn power off and unplug humidifier from the outlet.
2. Remove water tanks and empty all water from the main unit.
3. Remove the two (2) screws from the UV light cover on the bottom of the unit using a Phillips screwdriver
(not included).
4. Carefully pull out the UV holder and replace the UV bulb by screwing out the old bulb, and screwing in the
new one. Do not disconnect the wires.
5. Replace the UV holder, replace and tighten the screws.
CLEANING AND CARE
CAUTION: Before cleaning the unit, turn power off and unplug unit from the outlet.
Tank Cleaning
Remove the water tank from the unit by lifting it from main unit, then
unscrew the tank cap; wipe the tank with a soft cloth then wash it with
clean water.
SUGGESTION: Clean the water tank once every two to three weeks,
depending on your water conditions and usage.
ater Inlet Cleaning
Clean scale or residue with a soft cloth and wash with clean water.
CAUTION: Pour out the excess water, otherwise the water will pour inside
the unit and damage will occur.
Ultrasonic Nebulizer Cleaning
Put small amount of mild dish soap on the surface of the ultrasonic
nebulizer, then pour in some water and soak for 5 minutes. Brush clean
with soft bristle brush (not included) and rinse.
