Make sure your outlet voltage and circuit
frequency correspond to the voltage stated on the
appliance rating label.

on the same electrical circuit as it may overload
the circuit and blow the fuse or circuit breaker.
To protect against fire and electric shock, do not
immerse the cord, plug, power base or the Wet &
Dry Grinder body itself in water or other liquid. Do
not expose the electrical connections to water.

power cord and protect it from sharp edges and

Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table

power supply cord or plug is damaged, or after it
malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in
any way.
A damaged cord or plug must be replaced by the
manufacturer or a qualified person in order to
avoid a hazard.

means of an external timer or separate remote
control system. Never touch the blades when the
appliance is plugged in. The blades are very sharp.

blocking the blades.

mains when removing the blending shaft

Unpack the appliance but keep all packaging
materials until you have made sure your new Wet
& Dry Grinder is undamaged and in good working
order. Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation
hazard for babies and young children, so ensure all
packaging materials are out of their reach.
Unwind the cord to its full length and inspect it for
damage. Do not use the appliance if the appliance
or its cord have been damaged or are not working
properly.
Read this manual to familiarize yourself with all
the parts and operating principles of the Wet &
Dry Grinder. Pay particular attention to the safety
instructions on the previous pages.
Before using your Coffee I Spice Grinder for the
first time, or following periods of prolonged
storage, dismantle and rinse all parts that come
into contact with food (see 'Care and Cleaning').

1. Remove lid from the base of the Wet & Dry
Grinder.
2. Fill the stainless steel cup with the desired
ingredients. Refer to 'Grinding Suggestions' for
examples and instructions.
3. Place the cover on the unit, making sure to line
it up properly with the On/Off switch connections.
NOTE: A safety mechanism ensures the grinder will
only work when the cover is properly in place. Plug
the Wet & Dry Grinder into an appropriate wall
socket and switch on power to the outlet.
4. To start grinding, put one hand on top of the
grinder cover, press down and hold to begin
grinding. With maximum filling, grinding will take
about 30 seconds. The longer you continue the
operation, the finer the grind. However, do not
grind continuously for any longer than 60 seconds.

5. Grind until desired consistency is achieved. To
stop grinding, release pressure from the lid.
6. Unplug the grinder from the power point.
7. Gently pat the cover to remove any ground
coffee/spices that may have adhered to the cover.

CARE AND CLEANING
Before cleaning the appliance, switch it off and
unplug the power plug from the wall outlet. Grip
by the plug, do not pull by the cord.
Always let the Wet & Dry Grinder cool down
completely before cleaning.
Do not touch the sharp blades inside the stainless
steel cup.
Always clean the appliance after every use. Ensure
that the Stainless steel cup with blade assembly
and grinding chamber is thoroughly cleaned.
Cleaning the exterior of the unit should only be
attempted with a slightly damp, soapy cloth. After
wiping down the unit with the soapy cloth, dry any
wet spots with a dry cloth.
Should the plastic parts become stained, rub them
with a cloth dipped in a little cooking oil and then
clean as usual.
Store your appliance in its original box or in a dry
cupboard out of the reach of children.

Only the detachable stainless
steel grinding cups are dishwasher safe.

Use the Cross Blade Cup for blending wet ingredients
(such as preparing Guacamole/Houmous/Salsa, etc.)
Use the Flat Blade Cup for blending/grinding dry
ingredients (Coffee Beans, etc.).
Warning
DO NOT ADD TOO MUCH LIQUID - a small amount
of oil or other liquid can be added to dry ingredients.
It is sometimes necessary to use a small spatula
or similar (do not use metal utensils) to scrape food
from the sides of the cup to achieve a good result.
