Read and follow all safety instructions before using the shredder.
1. Make sure that the waste bin is fully inserted.
2. Insert the power cord into electrical outlet.
3. Locate the Power Switch on the back of the unit and switch to the On (|)
position.
4. Press the On/Off ( ) button on top of the shredder, putting shredder in standby
mode.
5. Insert paper or credit card into feed opening and shredder will begin shredding.
6. Once paper or credit card has cleared the head, shredder will return to
standby mode.
Your shredder is equipped with four castor wheels that allow you to easily move
the shredder around your home or office. You can lock the wheels in place by
pressing down on the lock tabs built into each wheel. When you are ready to move
the shredder, simply lift the lock tabs to unlock the wheels.
1. Remove the waste bin by sliding the bin out of the shredder.
2. Empty the waste bin.
3. Return the waste bin by sliding it back into the shredder.
1. Push the REV (<) button.
2. Shredder will rotate in opposite direction expelling any jammed paper out top of
shredder head.
3. Once the paper has been cleared, press the FWD (>) button to continue
shredding.
4. Reduce the number of sheets to be shredded at one time.
1. Frequent or continuous use may cause motor to exceed normal operating temperature.
2. After approximately 10 minutes of continuous operation, the overheat
protection feature causes motor to shut off.
3. Unplug the shredder power cord from the electrical outlet and allow shredder
motor to cool (approximately 60 minutes to completely cool).
4. Once the motor has cooled it will return to normal operation.

• Do not exceed maximum recommended number of sheets when feeding paper
into shredder.
• Always unplug the shredder before cleaning the waste bin.
• Unplug the shredder if not in use for extended periods of time.
• Keep ties, jewelry, hair, etc. away from the shredder feed opening to ensure
personal safety.
• Avoid touching the feed opening with hands.
• Keep aerosol products away from shredder as these can damage motor.
• Do not place near heat sources or in humid environment for extended periods of time.
• Place shredder far away from areas frequented by children and pets.
• Product is not intended for use by children (product is not a toy).
• Shredder will perform better if staples and clips are removed from paper before
shredding. Over time, shredding of staples and clips will reduce the life of the
shredder blades.

Warning
Operation, maintenance, and service requirements are covered in
the instruction manual. Read the entire instruction manual before
operating shredders.
Avoid hair touching the document feed opening.
Avoid touching the document feed opening with hands.
Avoid clothing touching the document feed opening.
Product is not intended for use by children (product is not a toy).
Keep aerosol products away.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
Shredder motor continues to run after shredding is complete.
The waste bin is full and not allowing paper to exit shredder head.
Unplug the shredder and empty the waste bin.
Paper is jammed and shredder does not run.
Too many sheets of paper are being fed into shredder at one time. Press the
REV (<) button to clear.
Shredder shuts off. Shredder does not run when FWD (>) or REV (<) buttons
are pushed.
Motor overheated.
Unplug the shredder and allow it to cool for 60 minutes before using again.
Waste bin is full or paper is stuck in blades.
Turn off shredder. Clear paper from blades and/or empty waste bin.
Shredded paper does not completely exit shredder head.
Shredded paper is caught in the blade slots.
Press the REV (<) button to clear. You may also need to unplug
shredder and manually remove paper from shredder exit.
Shredder does not run when paper is fed into feed opening.
Paper is not entering feed opening at a proper angle to touch activating sensor.
Remove and adjust the position of the paper so that activates the motor.
Paper is too thin, soft, wrinkled to activate shredder motor.
Remove paper and fold it before inserting it into shredder.

Shredder does not power up.
Main power switch is not on.
Locate the power switch on the back of the unit and make sure it is in
the On (|) position. Press the On/Off ( ) button on the top of the unit.
Waste bin is ajar.
Make sure the waste bin is pushed all the way into the main shredder body.

/ one (1) year (parts except cutter) from the date of purchase, this product will be free from
structural or mechanical defects resulting from materials or workmanship. LHLP, Inc., at its
sole option and as the purchaser’s sole remedy under this warranty, will repair or replace this
product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period.
Replacement or repair will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If
the product is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or
greater value. THIS IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY.
This warranty is only valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial
retail purchase and is not transferable. You must keep the original sales receipt.
Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty service.
LHLP, Inc. dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling this product do not have
the right to alter, modify or in any way change the terms and conditions of this
warranty.
This warranty does not apply to the finish on the product. This warranty does not
cover normal wear and tear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following:
negligent use or misuse of the product, use contrary to the operating instructions,
disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than LHLP, Inc. or an authorized
service center, improper installation, or exposure to extremes of heat or humidity.
Further, the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as fire, flood, earthquakes,
hurricanes and tornadoes.
LHLP, Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused
by the breach of any express or implied warranty or otherwise relating to the
sale of this product. LHLP, Inc. is also not responsible for: costs associated with
removing or installing the product; damage or loss of the contents of the product;
nor for the unauthorized removal of the contents; or damages incurred during
shipment.
THE ABOVE WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND LHLP, INC. DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL
OTHER COVENANTS AND WARRANTIES.
Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of
merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the
duration of the above warranty period. Some states, provinces or jurisdictions
do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages
or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations
or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
