Horse Ball Instructions and Care
Thank you for purchasing the Horses Just Wanna Have FunTM Horse Ball. Carefully follow these instructions
to ensure lasting satisfaction with our product. You and your horse will enjoy playing with the ball.
What size ball should I order for my horse?
We recommend the 25” ball for miniatures and ponies as it may be too small for larger horses during free play
and can become damaged or cause damage if they land on it. The 40” ball can be used with any size horse.
How do I assemble my new ball?
Spread the bladder out on the floor or table. The
bladder will be easier to manage if you let it warm up in
the sun to soften up.

Roll up the bladder into a tube using care to keep the inflation hole
at the top or bottom of the tube.
Insert the tube into the
fabric cover so the inflation
hole is at the top. If it gets
stuck on the fabric cover,
use a little cornstarch or
baby powder to help it slide.
After you have it inserted,
allow it to unroll, using care
to keep the inflation hole at
the top so you can fill it.
We recommend using a foot pump to inflate the ball. Because the
balls are big, there is a point during the inflation process that they
get “stuck” and want to push back on you. If you allow them to rest
and stretch, it will be easy to continue inflating them. If you use an
air compressor, fill the ball until it gets tight, then let it rest for 2
minutes. Continue this process until it is full.
You will have to adjust the fabric during the inflation process to
ensure that the inflation hole is centered below the velcro closure.
The bladder should be full and the fabric cover
should be smooth, but not tight. If you cannot
secure the velcro closure, you have overinflated
the ball. Once the ball is full, insert the plug and
secure the velcro cover.

Underinflation of the ball can enable the horse to damage the cover and bladder by biting. Properly inflated
balls should not be able to be grabbed by the horses teeth. These are horse training balls, not dog balls. Most
dogs have sharp teeth and can puncture the bladder. Do not allow your dog to play with these balls. If your
bladder has a manufacturing defect, it will be detected during the first few days after inflating it. Make sure
that you inflate your ball as soon as it arrives.
Slowly introduce your horse to the ball. Some horses instantly love to play, others are more shy. The best way
to teach your horse about the ball is to let her push it away from her. We don’t recommend that you throw the
ball at your horse right away, let her learn to move it so she gains confidence.

My cover is dirty, how do I wash it?
You can spot wash the cover while the bladder is inflated. To throughly clean the cover, remove the air from
the bladder AND remove the bladder from the cover. The cover can be washed in your washing machine using
laundry detergent. Do not use bleach. Do not machine DRY. Allow the cover to air dry and repeat the
produre above for inserting the bladder and inflating it.
How long can I expect the ball to last?
The bladder (if left inflated) can last up to 2 years. The cover will last up to 2 years as well providing there are
no rips or tears in it due to excessive wear.
How do I store my ball?
Leave it inflated and keep it in a warm garage or basement. If you can’t store it inflated, lay the bladder out
flat and store at room temperature. Prolonged expsoure to cold or heat will weaken the bladder.
How long is the warranty good for and what does it cover?
The bladder comes with a 90 day warranty against manufacturing defects only. Proper inflation over that
period of time will cause any defects to surface. We will gurantee and replace all defective bladders within 90
days of purchase. Contact us for the return procedure.
What if I decide I don’t want the ball and I haven’t used it?
We will accept returns if the ball has not been inflated. Contact us for the return procedure. You will pay the
postage and a 15% re-stocking fee.
What do I do if the bladder gets a hole in it?
Because the bladder is made of PVC, there are no adhesives that can be used to repair them that are available
to the general public. We can order you a replacement bladder.

I think the cover for my bladder is too big, did I get the wrong size?
The bladder is the right size for your cover. It will become tight before it is completely full. Keep filling it
until it fills up the cover. Trust us!
What kinds of things should I keep away from the ball?
The balls are tough, but not invincible. Keep them away from sharp objects that could puncture the bladder.
Always store the ball when not in use and never store it at extreme temperatures. If you use the ball during
cold or hot weather, store it out of the elements when you are finished.
