1. Seperate the various
packaging materials and
dispose of safely - DO NOT
leave discarded packaging
materialaroundthehome.
2. Afterremovingthepackaging,
check to make sure your
applianceisintact.Ifindoubt,
contact a qualified
professional.
3. DONOTuse extensionleads
and multiple plugs. If the
electricity supply wire is not
long enough, then have it
replacedwithoneofthecorrect
length and remember that it
should be free of bends or
dangerouskinks.
4. Intheeventofanydamageto
the power cord have it
replaced by a qualified
technician.
5. The mains plug must be
easily accessible after
installation.
6. If the appliance is not
operating properly or if
maintenanceoperationsare
necessary,disconnectthe
dishwasherfromthemains
powersupply(unplugit!).
7. DONOTinstalloutdoors,not
eveniftheareaiscoveredby
a roof: it is extremely

Installation
Coldwaterconnection.
Connect the cold water supply
hose, and making sure that it is
fastened tightly in place . If the
waterhosesareneworhavebeen
outofuseforanextendedperiodof
time,letthewaterruntomakesure
it is clear and free of impurities
beforemakingtheconnection.Ifthis
precautionisnottaken,thewater
inlet could get blocked, causing
damagetoyourdishwasher.
Choosewhereyouwanttoinstall
yourdishwasher,youcanplaceit
sothatitssidesorbackpanelare
side by side with furniture or up
againstthewall.Thedishwasheris
providedwithwatersupplyanddrain
hoses, which can be directed
towardstheleftorrighttofacilitate
appropriateinstallation.
Levelling.
Oncetheapplianceispositioned,
adjustthefeetbyscrewingthemin
oroutdependingonhowhighyou
want it and to level it so that it is
horizontal.Makesurethatitisnot
inclinedmorethan2degrees.Ifthe
applianceislevel,itwill helpensure
itscorrectoperation.
HeightAdjustment
Inserttheapplianceintothecutout
andthenadjusttheheightusingthe
screwslocatedonthefrontbottom
part of the machine. Use a
screwdriverto turn the screws in
the clockwise or anti-clockwise
directiontoincreaseordecrease
theheightrespectively.

Inserttheapplianceintothecutout
andthenadjusttheheightusingthe

part of the machine. Use a

Drainhoseconnection.
WARNING: Connect your
dishwasher drain hose to pipes
which connect to the foul drain
system and not to surface water
drains.
IMPORTANT: For the correct
operationofyourdishwasher,itis
essentialtocomplywiththefollowing
information:-
Standpipe:
Ensurethatthehoseisnotpushed
toofardownthestandpipe.
Iftheendofyourdrainhoseisfitted
with‘retainingflaps’,ensuretheyare
insertedfullyintothestandpipe. This
willpreventthepipefromjumping
outduringinstallationanduse.
DO NOT position the standpipe
nearanelectricaloutlet.
ENSUREthatthedrainhoseisnot
kinkedanditisroutedasshownin
thediagram.
Thestandpipeshouldhaveabore
ofatleast38mm(11/2”).Itshould
beinstalledasshown,haveatrap
fittedandmustdischargeintothe
same drain system as your
householdsink.
It MUST NOT be connected to a
surfacewaterdrain.
SinkWasteSystem:
Forundersinkdrainage:
Beforeconnectingthedrainhose,
removeanyinternalrestrictions-
Thiswillpreventabuildupofdebris
whichcouldcauseablockage.
Removeanyrestrictionsfromthe
wastespigotand ensurethatthe
sealingbungisremoved.Thehose
should be routed, such that it is
raised to a minimum height of
800mm(31/2”).
NOTE:Ensurethe sinkoutlet
pipehasaminimumdiamtereof
32mm.

Support’asrequiredalongthe

machineis inuseand causing
aflood.
Condensation-prooftape.
On some models, a transparent
condensation-proofadhesivetape
hasbeenprovided.
It should be stuck onto the lower
side of your wooden worktop to
protect it from the formation of
condensation.
Whennotprovided,thistapecan
berequestedasasparepartfrom
authorisedretailers.

To optimise wash performance and save on energy, try to use the dishwasher with a full wash load. If it takes some time to fill your

Before Using your Dishwasher
Adjustingthewatersoftener.
Yourdishwashercanadjustitssalt
consumptionaccordingtothehard-
ness of the water in your home.
This way, you can optimise and
customiseyourdishwasher'ssalt
consumption.
Toadjustsaltconsumption,doas
follows:
1.Unscrewthesaltcontainercap
2. There is an arrow on the neck
ofthecontainer(seefigure):if
necessary,turnthearrowanti-
clockwise from the "-" setting
to the "+" setting.
Select the arrow position
depending on the water
hardness,referringtothetable.
To prevent rust
from forming, load
the salt just before
beginning a wash

2. If it is the first time you add the

3.Putthedishwasherfunnelonthe
holeandpourinapproximately
twokilosofsalt.Itisnormalthat
some water comes out of the
container.
4. Screw the cap back in place
carefully.
Low Salt indicator
Thisgreendeviceislocatedatthe
centreofthecapforthedecalcifica-
tioncartridgeanditindicateswhether
thecontainerisfull.
Whentheindicatorisnotvisibleit
meansthatyouneedtoaddsalt.

You don't know how hard
the water in your home
is? Ask the company that
supplies water in your
area.
Warning
Three-in-one dishwasher tablets are now available on the market, and combine detergent, salt and rinse aid all in one.
If the water in your area is hard or very hard, we still recommend you pour extra salt into the relevant dispenser to prevent the
formation of white streaks on your dishes or on the interior of the appliance.
Using a three-in-one product means it is no longer necessary to put rinse aid into the relevant container.
If you want to achieve perfectly dry dishes, you may add rinse aid as long as the dosage adjuster is set to no.2.
In any case, please read the manufacturer's instructions on the packet.

Loading your Dishwasher
First of all.
Before placing dishes in the
baskets, remove all course food
remains.Thisavoidsblockingthe
filter, which would reduce the
efficiencyofthewash.
Ifsaucepansandfryingpansare
verydirty,allowthemtosoakbefore
beingwashed.
To make it easier to load your
dishes,pullthebasketsout.
What goes into the lower
basket?
Werecommendyouplacethemost
difficult dishes to wash into the
lowerbasket:saucepans,lids,soup
dishesandplates(aloadexample
isshowninthephoto).
• Servingdishesandlargelids:
placethemonthesidesof the
basket.
• Saucepans,saladbowls:must
alwaysbeplacedupsidedown
• Verydeepdishes:placethem
obliquely,thusallowingwaterto
run down them and cleaning

Care and Cleaning
Cleaning the spray arms.
Food residue may become
encrustedontothesprayarmsand
blocktheholeswherewatercomes
out.Checkthesprayarmsregularly
andcleanthemonceinawhile.
DO NOT use solvents or
abrasivestocleantheexteriorand
rubberpartsofyourappliance,do
not use solvents or abrasive
cleaning products. Use a cloth
dampenedwithlukewarmsoapy
wateronly.
Ifthereareanystainsonthesurface
oftheapplianceinterior,useacloth
dampenedwithwaterandalittle
whitevinegar,oracleaningproduct
specificallymadefordishwashers.
Unplug the appliance.
Beforecarryingoutanycleaningor
maintenanceonthedishwasher,
alwaysremovetheplugfromthe
electricitysocket.
After every wash.
Whenthewashcyclehasended,
alwaysremembertoturnoffthe
watersupplytapandtoleavethe
appliance door ajar. This way,
moistureandbadodourswillnotbe
trappedinside.
The seals.
One of the factors that cause
unpleasantodourstoforminside
thedishwasherisfoodthatremains
trapped in the seals. Periodic
cleaningusingadampspongewill
preventthisfromoccurring.
Going away
Ifthedishwasherisnotgoingtobe
usedforsometime,carryoutthe
following:
•runacyclewiththedishwasher
empty.
•switchoffattheelectricalsocket
andunplug.
•turn off the water supply tap,
disconnecttheinlethoseand
allowtodrain.
•filltherinseaiddispenser.
•leavethedoorajar,topreventthe
buildupofunpleasantodours
insidethedishwasher.
Beforeusingthedishwasherafter
alongbreak,pluginandswitchon
attheelectricalsocket.Reconnect
theinlethoseandturnonthewater
supplytap.Checkthereareno
depositsofrustinsidethewater
pipe,ifthereareallowwatertorun
from the supply tap for a few
minutes.
Moving the appliance.
Drainwaterfromthedishwasher.
Secure all loose parts. Only
transportinanuprightposition.

The filter assembly
• IIf you want consistent good
resultsfromyourdishwasher,you
needtocleanthefilterassembly.
• Thefoodparticlesareremoved
fromthewashwater,allowingitto
berecirculatedduringthecycle,
filteredperfectly.Forthisreason,it
isagoodideatoremovethelarger
foodparticlestrappedinsidethe
semi-circular filter A and cup
“C”aftereachwash;toremovethe
filterassembly,pullthecuphandle
upwards.Allyouneedtodoisrinse
themunderrunningwater.
• Theentirefilterassemblyshould
be cleaned thoroughly once a

Toremovefilter“B”,turnitanti-
clockwise. Use a small non-
metallicbrushforcleaning.
Reassemblethe filterparts (as
showninthefigure)andreinsert
the whole assembly into the
dishwasher. Position it into its
housingandpressdownwards.
Thedishwasherisnottobeused
without filters. Improper
replacement of the filters may
reducetheefficiencyofthewash
andevendamageyourdishwasher.

Resolving minor problems yourself.
Experience has shown that you can resolve most problems that arise during normal daily usage yourself, without having

Loading the Rinse Aid
Toopenthedispenser, turn the"C"capintheanti-clockwise
direction and then pour in the rinse aid, making sure not to
overfill.Theamount of rinse aidusedfor each cycle canbe
regulatedbyturningthedoseadjuster‘F’whichyouwillfind
under lid ‘C’.There are 6 different settings; the normal
dosage is setting 5.
