Precautions and tips
! The appliance was designed and man fact red in
compliance with international safety standards. The
following warnings are provided for safety reasons and
m st be read caref lly.
General safety
The appliance was designed for domestic se inside the
home and is not intended for commercial or ind strial
se.
The appliance m st not be installed o tdoors, even in
covered areas. It is extremely dangero s to leave the
appliance exposed to rain and storms.
When handling the appliance, always se the handles
provided on the sides of the oven.
Do not to ch the appliance with bare feet or with wet or
moist hands and feet.
The appliance m st be sed to cook food by ad lts only
and according to the instr ctions in this man al.
When the appliance is in use, the heating
elements and some parts of the oven door
become extremely hot. Make sure you don't
touch them and keep children well away.
Ens re that the power s pply cable of other electrical
appliances does not come into contact with the hot
parts of the oven.
The openings sed for ventilation and dispersion of
heat m st never be covered.
Always grip the oven door handle in the centre: the
ends may be hot.
Always se oven gloves to place cookware in the oven
or when removing it.
Do not se al mini m foil to line the bottom of the oven.
Do not place flammable materials in the oven: if the
appliance is switched on by mistake, it co ld catch fire.
Always make s re the knobs are in the l/¡ position
when the appliance is not in se.
When npl gging the appliance always p ll the pl g
from the mains socket, do not p ll on the cable.
Never carry o t any cleaning or maintenance work
witho t having npl gged the pl g from the mains.
In the case of a malf nction, nder no circ mstances
sho ld yo attempt to repair the appliance yo rself.
Repairs carried o t by inexperienced persons may
ca se inj ry or f rther malf nctioning of the appliance.

Do not rest heavy objects on the open oven door.
The appliance sho ld not be operated by people
(incl ding children) with red ced physical, sensory or
mental capacities, by inexperienced individ als or by
anyone who is not familiar with the prod ct. These
individ als sho ld, at the very least, be s pervised by
someone who ass mes responsibility for their safety or
receive preliminary instr ctions relating to the operation
of the appliance.
Do not let children play with the appliance.
Disposal
Observe local environmental standards when disposing
packaging material for recycling p rposes. Observe
existing legislation when disposing of the old appliance.
The E ropean Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical
and Electronic Eq ipment (WEEE), req ires that old
ho sehold electrical appliances m st not be disposed
of in the normal nsorted m nicipal waste stream. Old
appliances m st be collected separately in order to
optimise the recovery and recycling of the materials
they contain and red ce the impact on h man health
and the environment. The crossed o t wheeled bin

that when yo dispose of the appliance it m st be
separately collected.
Cons mers sho ld contact their local a thority or
retailer for information concerning the correct disposal
of their old appliance.
Respecting and conserving the
environ ent
By sing the appliance in the ho rs between late
afternoon and early morning, yo can help red ce the
work load placed on electrical companies.
Always keep the oven door closed when sing the
GRILL and GRATIN modes: to attain best res lts and
to save energy (approximately 10%).
Reg larly check the door seals and wipe clean to
ens re they are free of debris so that they stick
properly to the door and do not allow heat to disperse.

cannot be locked sh t.
