Following are the operating system requirements for HP MPIO XP DSM:

Supported storage systems
The HP MPIO XP DSM supports the following disk arrays:
•XP48

•XP1024
•XP10000
•XP12000
•XP20000
•XP24000
Prerequisite drivers
HP StorageWorks RAID storage systems are generally installed with a Solution Software kit, such as
the Fibre Channel Installation kit. These kits install or update certain drivers necessary for using HP
StorageWorks products with Windows. For information about Host Bus Adapter (HBA) drivers, refer to the
HP web site: http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html

•Multipath IO is provided as an inbox feature on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and version
numbers mentioned above for mpio.sys, mpdev.sys, and mpspfltr are not applicable for the same.
