1. Introduction

waste; it should be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be returned

2. Safety Instructions
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Children shall be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Never let the device run unattended.
Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage.
Warning! If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid any hazard.
Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifications of
this manual.
This device falls under protection class I. It is therefore essential that the device be earthed.
Have a qualified person carry out the electric connection.
Be very careful during the installation: touching live wires can cause life-threatening
electroshocks.
Do not use the device when damage to housing or cables is noticed. Do not attempt to service
the device yourself but contact an authorised dealer or service agent.
Always disconnect mains power when device not in use or when servicing or maintenance
activities are performed. Handle the power cord by the plug only.
Caution: device heats up during use. Do not touch hot surfaces. Let the device cool down
sufficiently after switching off before handling.
Indoor use only. Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping
liquids. Never put objects filled with liquids on top of or close to the device.
Do not stare directly at the light source, as this may cause
epileptic seizure in sensitive people

Use an appropriate safety cable to fix the device (e.g. VDLSC7N or VDLSC8N).
Install the device at a minimal distance of 0.5 m from flammable and explosive objects or

Respect a minimum distance of 0.5 m between the device’s light output and any illuminated surface.
The maximum ambient temperature is 40 °C. Do not operate the device at higher temperatures.

3. General Guidelines
Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual.
Keep this device away from dust and extreme temperatures. Make sure the ventilation
openings are clear at all times. For sufficient air circulation, leave at least 1" (± 2.5 cm)
in front of the openings.
Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it. Do not allow operation
by unqualified people. Any damage that may occur will most probably be due to unprofessional use
of the device.
All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications
to the device is not covered by the warranty.
Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may lead to short circuits, burns,
electroshocks, lamp explosion, crash, etc. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the
warranty.
Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and
the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
Mechanical wear and LEDs are not covered by warranty.
A qualified technician shall install and service this device.
Do not switch the device on immediately after it has been exposed to changes in temperature.
Protect the device against damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.
Use the appropriate current and power supply (see Technical Specifications).
Lighting effects are not designed for permanent operation: regular operation breaks will prolong their
lives.
There may be a particular smell when the device is activated for the first time. This is normal and
any smell will gradually disappear.
Keep this manual for future reference.
4. Features
The BUNDLEBAR is an all-in-one wash lighting solution designed for mobile entertainers. It produces a
full spectrum of light with smooth colour mixing using chip-on-board (COB) technology. The bundle
includes a tripod, a footswitch and carry bags. The BUNDLEBAR is very easy to set up. Flicker-free video
operation with high-frequency LED dimming. This is a very easy solution for mobile shows as it is easy to
control via DMX, stand-alone or the included footswitch.

6. Installation
Safety
Before mounting the product, read and follow the safety recommendations indicated in the Safety
Instructions.
Orientation
Before deciding on a location, make sure there is easy access to the product for maintenance and
programming.
The VDPLDJBAR8 can be mounted in any position. Make sure adequate ventilation is provided
around the product.
The bracket adjustment knobs allow for directional adjustment when aiming the product to the
desired angle. Only loosen or tighten the bracket knobs manually. Using tools could damage the
knobs.
Choose a suitable mounting spot. Mount the device in the desired angle using the included bracket.
Connect the power cord to the mains. Disconnect after use.
Stand
Set up the stand to its desired position.
Slide the T-bar onto the stand and tighten all fasteners.
Rigging
The carrying construction must be able to support 10 times the weight of the device for 1 hour
without deforming.
The installation must always be secured with a secondary attachment such as a safety cable
(e.g. VDLSC7N or VDLSC8N). The secondary attachment shall be designed and mounted in such a
way that no part of the device can fall if the primary attachment fails.
Make sure that the safety cables can carry 10 times the weight of the device. Make sure that the
maximum height of drop is limited so that no injuries can occur. If the safety cables are long, wrap
them around the truss multiple times to reduce the height of drop to a safe level.
Never stand directly below the device when it is being mounted, removed or serviced. Have a
qualified technician check the device once a year and once before you bring it into service.
Install the device in a location with few passers-by that is inaccessible to unauthorised persons.
Overhead mounting requires extensive experience: calculating workload limits, determining the
installation material to be used… Have the material and the device itself checked regularly. Do not
attempt to install the device yourself if you lack these qualifications as improper installation may
result in injuries.
Make sure there is no flammable material within a 0.5 m radius of the device.

7. Connection
Power
Connect the device to the mains with the power plug.
All devices must be powered directly off a grounded switched circuit.
Do not connect the device to a rheostat or dimmer circuit, even if the rheostat or dimmer channel is used
solely for 0 % to 100 % switching.
Have a qualified electrician carry out the electric connection.
The device has a power output to supply power to another device. When connecting several devices
in a daisy chain via this output, make sure that the total current does not exceed the power line’s
nominal current. Use power cables with an adequate section. If you do not use the power linking
feature, be sure to use the included screw-on cap to prevent any water from getting into the power
cords.
Power Linking
The VDPLDJBAR8 allows power linking through the IEC outlet located at the back of the device.
You can link up to 16 VDPLDJBAR8 devices on 230 V (4 devices at 120 V). Never exceed this
number.
Power linking cords can be purchased separately.
When power linking multiple products, you must always consider the length of the power linking
cable and mount the products close enough for the cable to reach.
DMX-512 Connection
When applicable, connect an XLR cable to the female XLR output of a controller (not incl.) and the
other side to the male XLR input of the device. Multiple devices can be linked through serial linking.
The linking cable shall be a dual core, screened cable with XLR input and output connectors.
Maximum recommended serial data link distance is 500 meters (1640 ft). Maximum recommended
number of devices on a serial data link is 32 devices.
A DMX terminator is recommended for installations where the DMX cable has to run a long distance
or is in an electrically noisy environment (e.g. discos). The terminator prevents corruption of the
digital control signal by electrical noise. The DMX terminator is simply an XLR plug with a 120 Ω
resistor between pins 2 and 3, which is then plugged into the XLR output socket of the last device in
the chain.
8. Operation
The device can be used in the following modes:
stand-alone mode: automatic or sound-activated
master/slave
with a DMX512 controller
with the footswitch.
8.1 Control Panel
Access the control panel functions using the four panel buttons [7, 8, 9, 10] located below the
display [6].

8.3 Stand-Alone Mode
In stand-alone mode, the device runs one of the built-in programs: automatic or sound-activated.
Stand-Alone Mode with Built-in Programme
To set the device to stand-alone mode:
1. Unplug any connection from the DMX input [4] of the device.
2. Press MENU to open the menu.
3. Select <AP-->.
4. Select one of the built-in programmes.
Sound Activation
With sound activation, the built-in programme responds to sound. To use sound activation with the
selected built-in programme:
1. Press MENU to open the menu.
2. Select <Soun>.
3. Select one of the sensitivity levels.
8.4 Master/Slave Mode
The master/slave mode allows for connecting several devices to a single master device in a daisy chain.
All slave devices will then work synchronously with the master device. The first device in the daisy chain
functions as the master device.
To set the devices to master/slave mode:
1. Unplug any connection from the DMX input [4] of the master device (the first device in the chain).
2. Connect the DMX input of the first slave device to the DMX output [5] of the master device.
3. Connect the DMX input of the subsequent slave devices to the DMX output of the previous slave
device.
4. On the master device, press MENU to open the menu.
5. Select the desired mode.
6. On the slave devices, press MENU until <A---> appears on the display.
7. Select <A001> and confirm with ENTER.

8.5 Footswitch
Connecting the footswitch
1. Make sure the VDPLDJBAR8 is powered on.
2. Plug the footswitch into the device [13].
Disconnecting the footswitch
1. Unplug the footswitch from the VDPLDJBAR8.
2. Unplug the power cable from the device.
3. Plug the power cable back in to start using the device without the footswitch.

8.6 DMX Mode
This mode allows you to control the device by any universal DMX controller.
All DMX-controlled devices need a digital start address so that the correct device responds to the
signals. This digital start address is the channel number from which the device starts to “listen” to
the DMX controller. The same starting address can be used for a whole group of devices or an
individual address can be set for every device.
When all devices have the same address, all the units will “listen” to the control signal on one
particular channel. In other words: changing the settings of one channel will affect all devices
simultaneously. If you set individual addresses, each device will “listen” to a separate channel
number. Changing the settings of one channel will only affect the device in question.

8.7 Ob-3 Mode
To select the ob-3 mode:
1. Press MENU until <Ob-3> is displayed.
2. Press ENTER to confirm.
The ob-3 mode allows you to use the VDPLDJBAR8 as a basic 3-channel RGB device. Individual control
of the parCANs and the built-in programmes are not available.
9. Cleaning and Maintenance
Before starting any cleaning or maintenance activities:
1. Unplug the device's power cord from the outlet.
2. Let the device cool down.
Cleaning
Clean the external optics with a soft cloth.
Always be sure to dry all parts completely before plugging the unit back in.
Cleaning frequency depends on the environment in which the unit operates (i.e. smoke, fog residue,
dust, dew).
Do not immerse the device in any liquid.
Use a vacuum (or dry compressed air) and a soft brush to remove dust collected on the external
surface/vents.
Clean all external optics and glass/transparent surfaces with a mild soap solution, ammonia-free
glass cleaner, or isopropyl alcohol.
Apply the solution directly to a soft, lint-free cloth or a lens cleaning tissue.
Softly drag any dirt or grime to the outside of the external optics or glass/transparent surface.
Gently polish until free of haze and lint.
Dry carefully after cleaning.
Maintenance
All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
The housing, the lenses, the mounting supports and the installation location (e.g. ceiling, suspension,
trussing) should not be deformed, modified or tampered with; e.g. do not drill extra holes in
mounting supports, do not change the location of the connections…
Mechanically moving parts must not show any signs of wear and tear.
The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain
the device.
There are no user-serviceable parts, apart from the fuse.
Refer to an authorized dealer for service and/or spare parts.

Replacing the fuse
Only replace the fuse by a fuse of the same type and rating.
1. Unplug the device's power cord from the outlet.
2. Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the fuse holder.
3. Remove the damaged fuse and replace with the same type of fuse.
4. Insert the fuse holder back in its place and reconnect power.

1. Inleiding

Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als het toestel na zijn levenscyclus
wordt weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en
eventuele batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een gespecialiseerd
bedrijf terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw dealer of naar een lokaal

2. Veiligheidsinstructies
Dit toestel is niet geschikt voor gebruik door personen (kinderen inbegrepen) met verminderde
fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke capaciteiten of gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij zij onder
toezicht staan of instructie hebben gekregen over het gebruik van het toestel van een persoon
die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid.
Houd toezicht op kinderen om te voorkomen dat ze met het toestel spelen.
Laat een ingeschakeld toestel nooit onbeheerd achter.
De voedingskabel mag niet beschadigd zijn of ingekort worden.
Waarschuwing! Indien de voedingskabel beschadigd is, dan moet deze door de fabrikant,
diens servicedienst, of een gelijkwaardig bekwaam persoon vervangen worden om gevaar te
voorkomen.
De beschikbare netspanning mag niet hoger zijn dan de spanning in de specificaties achteraan
de handleiding.
Dit toestel valt onder beschermingsklasse I. Het toestel moet dus geaard zijn. Een geschoolde
technicus moet de elektrische aansluiting uitvoeren.
Wees voorzichtig bij de installatie: raak geen kabels aan die onder stroom staan, om dodelijke
elektroshocks te vermijden.
Gebruik het toestel niet indien de behuizing of de bekabeling beschadigd is. Probeer in geen
geval het toestel zelf te repareren maar contacteer uw verdeler.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het toestel reinigt of als u het niet gebruikt. Houd
de voedingskabel altijd vast bij de stekker en niet bij de kabel.
Opgelet: de behuizing wordt zeer warm tijdens gebruik. Raak geen warme oppervlakken aan.
Laat het toestel voldoende afkoelen na gebruik, voor u het aanraakt.
Gebruik het toestel enkel binnenshuis. Bescherm dit toestel tegen regen,
vochtigheid en opspattende vloeistoffen. Plaats nooit objecten gevuld met vloeistof op
of naast het toestel.
Kijk niet rechtstreeks in de lichtbron, om het volgende te vermijden
epilepsie-aanvallen bij gevoelige personen

permanente en 5onherroepelijke° schade aan de ogen.

3. Algemene richtlijnen
Raadpleeg de Velleman® service- en kwaliteitsgarantie achteraan deze handleiding.
Bescherm tegen stof en extreme temperaturen. Zorg ervoor dat de
verluchtingsopeningen niet verstopt geraken. Voor voldoende luchtcirculatie, voorzie
een ruimte van minstens 2.5 cm tussen het toestel en elk ander object.
Bescherm het toestel tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de bediening.
Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken. Ongeschoolde personen
mogen dit toestel niet gebruiken. Meestal is beschadiging het gevolg van onprofessioneel gebruik van
het toestel.
Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen aan het toestel. Schade door wijzigingen
die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.
Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. Andere toepassingen kunnen leiden tot
kortsluitingen, brandwonden, elektrische schokken, enz. Bij onoordeelkundig gebruik vervalt de
garantie.
De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en
uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks
verband mee houden.
De LEDs en mechanische schade vallen niet onder de garantie.
Laat dit toestel installeren en onderhouden door een geschoolde technicus.
Het is beter om het toestel niet onmiddellijk in te schakelen nadat het werd blootgesteld aan
temperatuurschommelingen. Om beschadiging te vermijden, moet u wachten tot het toestel de
kamertemperatuur heeft bereikt.
Gebruik het toestel met de geschikte stroom en de geschikte voeding (zie Technische specificaties).
Het toestel is niet ontworpen voor een continue werking: regelmatige onderbrekingen verlengen de
levensduur.
Wanneer u het toestel voor het eerst gebruikt, kan dit gepaard gaan met een bepaalde geur. Dit is
normaal en de eventuele geur zal geleidelijk aan verdwijnen.
Bewaar deze handleiding voor verdere raadpleging.
4. Eigenschappen
De BUNDLEBAR is een compleet uitgeruste wash-verlichting, ontworpen voor mobiele entertainers. Het
produceert een breed lichtspectrum met perfecte kleurmenging dankzij de COB LED-technologie. Het
pakket bevat een voet, voetschakelaar en draagtassen. De BUNDLEBAR is zeer gemakkelijk te
installeren. De HF-dimbare LEDs zorgen voor een flikkervrije werking. Eenvoudige oplossing voor mobiele
shows dankzij de meegeleverde voetschakelaar, de autonome en DMX-gestuurde modi.

6. Installatie
Veiligheid
Voor u aan de installatie begint, dient u de veiligheidsinstructies te lezen en in acht te nemen.
Montage
Zorg ervoor dat bij het kiezen van een montageplaats, u het toestel gemakkelijk kunt programmeren
en onderhouden.
U kunt de VDPLDJBAR8 in alle posities monteren. Zorg voor voldoende ventilatie rond het toestel.
Met de instelknoppen kunt u de koppen draaien om de gewenste hoek in te stellen. Draai de
instelknoppen van de beugel alleen manueel los of vast. Het gebruik van gereedschap kan de
knoppen beschadigen.
Kies een geschikte montageplaats. Monteer het toestel in de gewenste hoek met de meegeleverde
beugel. Koppel de voedingskabel aan het lichtnet. Ontkoppel na gebruik.
Voet
Stel de gewenste positie van de voet in.
Schuif de T-balk op de voet en draai alle bouten en schroeven vast.
Montage
De draagconstructie waaraan het toestel wordt bevestigd, moet gedurende 1 uur 10 x het gewicht
van dit toestel kunnen dragen zonder te vervormen.
Maak het toestel ook altijd vast met een veiligheidskabel (bv. VDLSC7N of VDLSC8N). Dit tweede
bevestigingsmiddel moet zo worden aangebracht dat geen enkel onderdeel van het toestel naar
beneden kan vallen bij het loskomen van het eerste bevestigingsmiddel.
Controleer of de veiligheidskabels 10 x het gewicht van het toestel kunnen dragen. Beperk de
maximale valhoogte, om letsels te voorkomen. Als de veiligheidskabels te lang zijn, draai ze dan
enkele keren rond de truss om de valhoogte te beperken.
Sta nooit recht onder het toestel wanneer u het monteert, verwijdert of herstelt. Laat het toestel
controleren door een geschoolde technicus voor u het in gebruik neemt en laat het 1 x per jaar
volledig nakijken.
Installeer dit toestel op een plaats waar weinig mensen voorbijkomen en die niet toegankelijk is voor
onbevoegden.
Een degelijke praktijkervaring is vereist voor de plaatsing van dit toestel: u moet de
maximumbelasting van de draagconstructie kunnen berekenen, weten welk constructiemateriaal u
kunt gebruiken, enz. Laat het materiaal en het toestel regelmatig nakijken. Monteer het toestel niet
zelf indien u er geen ervaring mee heeft. Een slechte montage kan leiden tot verwondingen.
Verwijder al het brandbaar materiaal in een straal van 0.5 m rond het toestel.

7. Aansluiting
Voeding
Sluit het toestel via de stekker aan op het lichtnet.
Alle toestellen moeten via een geaard stopcontact gevoed worden.
Sluit het toestel niet aan op een variabele weerstand of dimcircuit, ook al gebruikt u de variabele
weerstand of het dimcircuit als een 0% tot 100% inschakeling.
Laat het toestel aansluiten door een geschoolde elektricien.
Het toestel heeft een voedingsuitgang waar een volgend toestel kan op aangesloten worden. Bij het
aansluiten van meerdere toestellen in een reeks via deze uitgang mag de totale stroom de nominale
stroom van de stroomkring niet overschrijden. Gebruik voedingskabels met een geschikte diameter.
Indien u de voedingsuitgang niet gebruikt, dient u de meegeleverde schroefdop te gebruiken om het
binnendringen van water in de voedingskabels te voorkomen.
Power Linking
De VDPLDJBAR8 ondersteunt power linking via de IEC-aansluiting aan de achterkant van het
toestel.
U kunt max.16 VDPLDJBAR8 -toestellen aansluiten op 230 V (4 toestellen bij 120 V). Overschrijd
deze waarde nooit.
Power linking-kabels zijn apart verkrijgbaar.
Houd steeds rekening met de lengte van de power linking-kabel bij het aansluiten van meerdere
toestellen in een reeks. Monteer de toestellen zo dicht mogelijk.
DMX-512-aansluiting
Indien nodig, sluit een XLR-kabel aan op de vrouwelijke XLR-uitgang van een controller (niet
meegelev.) en het andere uiteinde op de mannelijke XLR-ingang van het toestel. U kunt meerdere
toestellen in serie aan elkaar koppelen. Gebruik daarvoor een 2-aderige afgeschermde kabel met XLR
ingangs- en uitgangsaansluitingen.
De maximale aanbevolen kabellengte is 500 meter. Het aanbevolen maximumaantal van toestellen
verbonden met eenzelfde aansluiting is 32.
Een DMX-eindweerstand is aanbevolen als de DMX-kabel vrij lang is of wordt gebruikt in een
omgeving met veel elektrische ruis (bv. een discotheek). De eindweerstand voorkomt corruptie van
het digitale controlesignaal door elektrische ruis. De DMX-eindweerstand is niets meer dan een XLR-
stekker met een weerstand van 120 Ω van pin 2 naar 3. Deze XLR-stekker wordt dan aangesloten op
de XLR-uitgang van het laatste toestel in de reeks.
8. Gebruik
Het toestel kan gebruikt worden als volgt:

8.3 Autonome modus
In autonome modus draait het toestel één van de ingebouwde programma's: automatisch of
muziekgestuurd.
Autonome modus met ingebouwd programma
De autonome modus instellen:
1. Ontkoppel alle DMX-ingangsaansluitingen [4] van het toestel.
2. Druk op MENU om het menu te openen.
3. Selecteer <AP-->.
4. Selecteer een van de ingebouwde programma's.
Muzieksturing
In muziekgestuurde modus reageert het ingebouwde programma op muziek. Om in deze modus het
geselecteerde ingebouwde programma te gebruiken:
5. Druk op MENU om het menu te openen.
6. Selecteer <SoUN>.
7. Selecteer een van de gevoeligheidsniveaus.
8.4 Master/slave-modus
In master/slave-modus kunt u meerdere toestellen aansluiten op één mastertoestel in serie. Alle
slavetoestellen zullen vervolgens synchroon functioneren met het mastertoestel. Het eerste toestel in
serie functioneert als mastertoestel.
De toestellen in master/slave-modus instellen:
1. Ontkoppel alle DMX-ingangsaansluitingen [4] van het mastertoestel (het eerste toestel in de reeks).
2. Sluit de DMX-ingang van het eerste slavetoestel aan op de DMX-uitgang [5] van het mastertoestel.
3. Sluit de DMX-ingang van de volgende slavetoestellen in de reeks aan op de DMX-uitgang van het
vorige slavetoestel.
4. Op het mastertoestel, druk op MENU om het menu te openen.
5. Selecteer de gewenste modus.
6. Druk bij de slave-apparaten op MENU tot <A---> op het display verschijnt.
7. A001> Bevestig met ENTER.

8.5 Voetschakelaar

1. Schakel de VDPLDJBAR8 in.
2. Steek de voetschakelaar in het apparaat [13].
Ontkoppeling voetschakelaar
1. Ontkoppel de voetschakelaar van de VDPLDJBAR8.
2. Ontkoppel de voedingskabel van het toestel.
3. Sluit de voedingskabel opnieuw aan op het toestel zonder de voetschakelaar te gebruiken.

De voetschakelaar heeft 2 pedalen: aan de linkerzijde (PROGRAMS) en aan de rechterzijde BLACKOUT).

8.6 DMX-modus
In deze modus kunt u het toestel via een universele DMX-controller bedienen.
Alle DMX-gestuurde toestellen hebben een digitaal startadres nodig, zodat het juiste toestel reageert
op de signalen. Dit digitale startadres is het kanaalnummer van waarop het toestel "luistert" naar het
signaal van de DMX-controller. U kunt één enkel startadres gebruiken voor een groep toestellen of u
kunt per toestel een nieuw startadres ingeven.
Wanneer u een enkel startadres instelt, zullen alle toestellen luisteren naar hetzelfde kanaal. Met
andere woorden: wanneer u de instellingen voor 1 kanaal verandert, zullen alle toestellen er tegelijk
op reageren. Wanneer u verschillende adressen instelt, luistert elk toestel naar een ander kanaal.
Wanneer u de instellingen van een kanaal verandert, zal enkel het toestel op dat kanaal reageren.

8.7 Ob-3 Modus
Om de ob-3 modus te selecteren:
1. Druk op MENU tot <Ob-3> verschijnt.
2. Druk op ENTER om te bevestigen.
Met de ob-3 modus kunt u de VDPLDJBAR8 als een standaard 3-kanaals RGB-apparaat gebruiken.
Individuele controle van de parCANs en de ingebouwde programma's zijn niet beschikbaar.
9. Reiniging en onderhoud
Voor het reinigen of onderhoud:
1. Ontkoppel de stroomkabel.
2. Laat het toestel afkoelen.
Reiniging
Reinig de externe lenzen met een zachte doek.
Zorg ervoor dat alle onderdelen volledig droog zijn voordat u het toestel opnieuw aansluit.
De frequentie van de reiniging hangt van de montageplaats af (bijv. rook, stof, vocht).
Dompel het toestel niet onder.
Gebruik een stofzuiger (of luchtperspomp) en een zachte borstel om het stof op het oppervlak en
ventilatieopeningen te verwijderen.
Reinig de buitenkant van alle optische lenzen en glazen/transparante oppervlakken met een milde
zeep, ammoniakvrije glasreiniger of isopropylalcohol.
Breng de reinigingsoplossing rechtstreeks aan op een zachte, pluisvrije doek of een reinigingsdoek
voor lenzen.
Veeg opgehoopt vuil naar de buitenkant van de optische lenzen of het glazen/transparante
oppervlak.
Voorzichtig oppoetsen tot alle stof verdwenen is.
Zorgvuldig afdrogen na het reinigen.
Onderhoud
Alle gebruikte schroeven moeten goed zijn aangespannen en mogen geen sporen van roest vertonen.
De behuizing, de lenzen, de montagebeugels en de montageplaats (bijvoorbeeld plafond, ophanging
of gebinte) mogen niet vervormd of aangepast worden; bvb. geen extra gaten in montagebeugels
boren, locatie van de aansluitingen niet verplaatsen...
Mechanisch bewegende delen mogen geen sporen van slijtage vertonen en mogen niet onregelmatig
bewegen.
De voedingskabels mogen niet beschadigd zijn. Laat het toestel onderhouden door een geschoolde
technicus.
Er zijn geen onderdelen in het toestel die door de gebruiker gerepareerd kunnen worden, behalve de

zekering.
Voor onderhoud of reserveonderdelen, contacteer uw dealer.
De zekering vervangen
Vervang een gesprongen zekering enkel door een zekering van hetzelfde type en met hetzelfde
vermogen.
1. Ontkoppel de stroomkabel.
2. Maak de zekeringhouder los met behulp van een schroevendraaier met platte kop.
3. Verwijder de oude zekering en vervang door een zekering van hetzelfde type.
4. Plaats de zekeringhouder terug in het toestel en schakel de stroom weer in.

2. Prescriptions de sécurité
Cet appareil ne convient pas aux personnes (y compris enfants) qui possèdent des capacités
physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites, ou manquent d’expérience et de connaissances,
sauf si elles ont reçu une supervision ou des instructions concernant l’utilisation de l’appareil de
la part d’une personne responsable de leur sécurité.
Surveiller les enfants pour s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.
Ne jamais laisser l'appareil sans surveillance lorsqu'il est branché.
Le câble d’alimentation ne peut pas être replissé ou endommagé.
Attention! Un câble d'alimentation endommagé doit être remplacé par le fabricant, un
technicien ou une autre personne qualifiée pour éviter tout danger.
S'assurer que la tension ne dépasse pas la tension spécifiée dans les spécifications de ce mode
d'emploi.
Cet appareil ressort à la classe de protection I, l'appareil doit donc être mis à la terre. Un
technicien qualifié doit établir la connexion électrique.
Être prudent lors de l'installation: toucher un câble sous tension peut causer des électrochocs
mortels.
Ne pas utiliser l'appareil si le boîtier ou le câblage sont endommagés. Ne pas essayer de
réparer l'appareil soi-même, contacter votre revendeur.
Toujours débrancher l’appareil s’il n’est pas utilisé at avant le nettoyage ou l'entretien. Tirer la
fiche pour débrancher l'appareil ; non pas le câble.
Attention: l'appareil chauffe pendant l’usage. Ne pas toucher les surfaces chaudes. Après avoir
éteint l'appareil, laisser suffisamment refroidir avant de le manier.
Utiliser cet appareil uniquement à l'intérieur. Protéger de la pluie, de l’humidité et
des projections d’eau. Ne jamais placer d’objet contenant un liquide sur l’appareil.
Ne pas regarder directement dans la source lumineuse, afin d'éviter les risques
de crise d’épilepsie chez les personnes sujettes
d’aveuglement temporaire (aveuglement par éclair)
d’endommagement permanent (irréversible) de l’œil.
Utiliser un câble de sécurité approprié pour fixer l'appareil (p. ex. VDLSC7N ou VDLSC8N).
Installer l'appareil à une distance minimale de 0,5 m de tout objet ou produit inflammable ou
explosif.
Respecter une distance minimale de 0,5 m entre la sortie lumière de l’appareil et la surface illuminée.
La température ambiante maximale s'élève à 40 °C. Ne pas utiliser l'appareil à des températures plus
élevées.

3. Directives générales
Se référer à la garantie de service et de qualité Velleman® en fin de notice.
Protéger contre la poussière et les températures extrêmes. Veiller à ce que les fentes
de ventilation ne soient pas bloquées. Pour une circulation d'air suffisante, laisser une
distance minimale de 2.5cm entre l’appareil et tout autre objet.
Protéger l’appareil des chocs. Traiter l'appareil avec circonspection pendant l’opération.
Se familiariser avec le fonctionnement de l’appareil avant de l’utiliser. Ne pas permettre aux
personnes non qualifiées d’opérer cet appareil. La plupart des dégâts sont causés par un usage non
professionnel de l'appareil.
Toute modification est interdite pour des raisons de sécurité. Les dommages occasionnés par des
modifications par le client ne tombent pas sous la garantie.
N’utiliser l'appareil qu’à sa fonction prévue. Tout autre usage peut causer des courts-circuits, des
brûlures, des électrochocs, explosion de lampe, chute, etc. Un usage impropre annule d'office la
garantie.
La garantie ne s’applique pas aux dommages survenus en négligeant certaines directives de cette
notice et votre revendeur déclinera toute responsabilité pour les problèmes et les défauts qui en
résultent.
Les LED et l’usure mécanique ne tombent pas sous la garantie.
Confier l’installation et l’entretien à un technicien qualifié.
Ne pas brancher immédiatement l’appareil après exposition à des variations de température. Afin
d’éviter des dommages, attendre jusqu’à ce que l’appareil ait atteint la température ambiante.
Utiliser l'appareil avec le courant et l'alimentation appropriés (voir Spécifications techniques).
Un effet lumineux n’est pas conçu pour une opération continue: introduire fréquemment une pause
pour prolonger la vie de l'appareil.
La première mise en service peut s’accompagner d’une odeur particulière. C’est normal. Toute odeur
disparaîtra graduellement.
Garder ce mode d'emploi pour toute référence ultérieure.
