CONNECTING AND OPERATION
How to connect the HDMI 4 port Splitter to your devices
1. Connect the HDMI cable from the HDTV source to the Splitter input.
2. Connect the cables from your displays (monitor or projector) into the HDMI outputs
of the Splitter.
3. The resolution of outputs of Splitter is configured by the resolution of device that
connected to the last output port. (i.e.The last output port is port 4, the resolution of
the device connected to port 4 is 720 P, the resolution of all the Splitter output ports
will be set to 720 P).
4. Plug the 12 VDC power supply into the Splitter.
5. Power on the power switch.
6. When connections are completed, the HDTV signal will be distributed to each
HDTV display.
7. For the best performance, when you disconnect the HDMI cable, you should re-
start the Splitter power. Make sure the Splitter is working well in HDCP between
DVD player and display devices.

ATTENTIONS
The Splitter will distribute one resolution only at one time. Resolution mode will
depend on that of the first in or the first of the sequent display devices. Make sure
your display devices are HDCP compliant and fully support HDCP.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
1. When there is no picture present, please check:
• Whether all connectors connect well or not?
• Whether the connecting cable is damaged?
• Whether the AV-SPLIT25 is reset or not?
2. How to reset output standard resolution:
• Connect all cables and reset the AV-SPLIT25, it will automatic detect first port
resolution to become standard output resolution.
• Disconnect all cables and reset the AV-SPLIT25 then plug in first cable of display
output, as the first in display will become standard resolution.
3. How can you be sure your input and output device are compliant with
AV-SPLIT25?
• Can all devices be identified by HDMI ATC and with HDMI formal logo?
• Are all devices HDCP compliant?
• Do all HDMI cables stay in good quality?

• Make sure all displays support the same resolution either 720 P, 1080 I, 1080 P.
4. When there is only a picture but no sound:
• Check your cable connection to see if it fits properly.
• Check your cable to see whether it supports video transmission only or has just
been damaged?
• HDCP may not match very well at first connection; reset your AV-SPLIT25 again.
• Did you connect any output to your video recorder? This is not allowed.The device
which supports HDCP will lock the audio part automatically.
5. When it can’t show a resolution in 1080 P?
• Make sure your sources (HD DVD Player) and displays fully support 1080P.
• Make sure your HDMI cables are approved by HDMI ATC.

ANSCHLUSS UND BETRIEB
Anschluss des 4-Port HDMI-Splitters an Ihre Geräte
1. Verbinden Sie das HDMI-Kabel von der HDTV-Quelle mit dem Eingang des
Splitters.
2. Verbinden Sie die HDMI-Kabel Ihrer Displays (Monitor oder Projektor) mit den
HDMI-Ausgängen des Splitters.
3. Die Auflösung der Ausgänge des Splitter wird über die Auflösung des Gerätes
konfiguriert, das an den letzten Ausgang angeschlossen wird. (d. h. wenn der letzte
Ausgang der Port 4 ist und die Auflösung des an den Port 4 angeschlossenen
Geräts 720P beträgt, so wird die Auflösung aller Ausgänge des Splitters auf 720P
eingestellt).
4. Stecken Sie die 12 VDC Stromversorgung in den Splitter.
5. Schalten Sie den Netzschalter ein.
6. Wenn die Verbindungen abgeschlossen sind, wird das HDTV-Signal an jedes
HDTV-Display verteilt.
7. Um die beste Leistung zu erreichen, sollten Sie die Stromversorgung des Splitters
beim Abziehen des HDMI-Kabels neustarten. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der
Splitter zwischen DVD-Player und Anzeigegeräten ordnungsgemäß in HDCP
arbeitet.

ACHTUNG
Der Splitter kann nur eine Auflösung auf einmal verteilen. Der Auflösungsmodus
ist abhängig vom ersten Einschalten oder vom ersten der aufeinander folgenden
Anzeigegeräte. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre Display-Geräte HDCP-fähig sind und
HDCP vollständig unterstützen.

FEHLERSUCHE
1. Wenn kein Bild vorhanden ist, prüfen Sie bitte Folgendes:
• Sind alle Steckverbinder richtig angeschlossen oder nicht?
• Ist das Anschlusskabel beschädigt?
• Wurde der AV-SPLIT25 zurückgesetzt oder nicht?
2. Zurücksetzen der Standardauflösung des Ausgangs:
• Schließen Sie die Kabel an und setzen Sie den AV-SPLIT25 zurück. Die
erste Anschluss-Auflösung wird automatisch erkannt und als Standard-
Ausgangsauflösung festgelegt.
• Ziehen Sie alle Kabel ab und setzen Sie den AV-SPLIT25 zurück. Stecken
Sie anschließend das erste Kabel des Displayausgangs ein, da das zuerst
angeschlossene Display die Standardauflösung vorgibt.
3. Wie können Sie sicherstellen, dass Ihr Eingangs- und Ausgangsgerät mit
AV-SPLIT25 kompatibel ist?
• Sind alle Geräte von HDMI ATC gekennzeichnet worden und besitzen diese das
HDMI Logo?
• Sind alle Geräte HDCP-fähig?
• Besitzen alle HDMI-Kabel eine gute Qualität?
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Displays die gleiche Auflösung unterstützen, entweder
720P, 1080I oder 1080P.

4. Wenn nur Bild, aber kein Ton vorhanden ist:
• Prüfen Sie Ihre Kabelverbindung auf festen Sitz.
• Prüfen Sie Ihr Kabel, um festzustellen, ob es vielleicht nur Videoübertragung
unterstützt oder möglicherweise beschädigt worden ist.
• HDCP kann sich beim ersten Anschluss unter Umständen nicht gut anpassen;
setzen Sie Ihren AV-SPLIT25 erneut zurück.
• Hatten Sie einen Ausgang an Ihren Videorekorder angeschlossen? Das ist nicht
zulässig. Das Gerät, das HDCP unterstützt, wird das Audiosignal automatisch
abschotten.
5. Warum kann keine Auflösung von 1080P dargestellt werden?
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre Quellen (HD DVD-Player) und Displays 1080P
vollständig unterstützen.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre HDMI-Kabel von HDMI ATC genehmigt worden
sind.

Répartiteur HDMI 4 ports

RACCORDEMENT ET FONCTIONNEMENT :
Comment raccorder le répartiteur HDMI 4 ports à vos équipements ?
1. Raccordez le câble HDMI de votre source HDTV à l'entrée du répartiteur.
2. Raccordez les câbles HDMI de vos périphériques (écran ou projecteur) aux sorties
HDMI du répartiteur.
3. La résolution des sorties du répartiteur est fonction de la résolution du périphérique
raccordé au dernier port de sortie. (Ex : Le dernier port de sortie est le port 4, la
résolution du périphérique raccordé au port 4 est de 720P donc la résolution de
tous les ports de sortie du répartiteur sera de 720P).
4. Branchez l'alimentation 12V c.c au répartiteur.
5. Allumez l'interrupteur
6. Si les raccordements sont effectués, le signal HDTV est réparti vers chacun des
écrans HDTV.
7. Pour des meilleures performances, lorsque vous avez débranché le câble HDMI,
nous vous conseillons de redémarrer le répartiteur. Assurez-vous que le répartiteur
fonctionne correctement en HDCP entre le lecteur DVD et les écrans.

ATTENTION
Le répartiteur n'envoie qu'une seule résolution à la fois. Le mode de résolution
dépend du premier écran branché ou du premier écran dans la séquence. Assurez-
vous que vos écrans sont conformes à la norme HDCP et qu'ils la prennent
complètement en charge.

DEPANNAGE :
1. En cas d'absence d'image, vérifiez :
• Si tous les connecteurs sont correctement raccordés,
• Si les câbles de raccordement ne sont pas endommagés,
• Si le AV-SPLIT25 a été réinitialisé ou non.
2. Comment réinitialiser la résolution de sortie standard ?
• Raccordez tous les câbles et réinitialisez le AV-SPLIT25, la résolution du premier
port est automatiquement détectée et devient la résolution de sortie standard.
• Débranchez tous les câbles et réinitialisez le AV-SPLIT25, puis branchez le premier
câble de sortie d'écran, le premier écran devenant la résolution standard.
3. Comment être sûr que les périphériques d'entrée et de sortie sont compatibles
avec le AV-SPLIT25 ?
• Si tous les dispositifs disposent du logo HDMI ATC et HDMI officiel.
• Si tous les dispositifs sont conformes à la norme HDCP.
• Si tous les câbles HDMI sont en bon état.
• Assurez-vous que tous les écrans prennent en charge la même résolution 720P,
1080I, ou 1080P.

4. Lorsque vous obtenez une image mais sans son :
• Vérifiez le raccordement du câble pour contrôler qu'il s'adapte parfaitement.
• Vérifiez votre câble pour contrôler qu'il ne prend pas uniquement en charge la
transmission vidéo ou qu'il n'est pas endommagé.
• Il se peut que le HDCP ne corresponde pas parfaitement lors de la première
connexion. Réinitialisez une nouvelle fois le AV-SPLIT25.
• Avez-vous raccordé une sortie quelconque à votre enregistreur vidéo ? Cela
n'est pas autorisé. Le dispositif HDCP verrouille sinon automatiquement la partie
audio.
5. Si la résolution 1080P ne peut être atteinte :
• Assurez-vous que vos sources (Lecteur DVD HD) et que vos écrans prennent
complètement en charge la résolution 1080P.
• Assurez-vous que vos câbles soient certifiés HDMI ATC.

AANSLUITEN EN BEDIENEN
Het aansluiten van de HDMI 4 poorten splitser op uw apparatuur
1. Sluit de HDMI-kabel van de HDTV-bron aan op de ingang van de splitser.
2. Sluit de kabels van uw weergaveapparatuur (monitor of projector) aan op de HDMI-
uitgangen van de splitser.
3. De resolutie van de uitgangen van de splitser is ingesteld door de resolutie van de
apparatuur die aan de laatste uitgangspoort is aangesloten. (d.w.z. als de laatste
uitgangspoort poort 4 is en de resolutie van de op poort 4 aangesloten apparatuur
720 P is, dan zal de resolutie van alle uitgangspoorten van de splitser op 720 P
worden ingesteld).
4. Sluit de 12 volt DC voeding aan op de splitser.
5. De AAN/UIT-knop op AAN instellen.
6. Als alle verbindingen op de juiste wijze werden aangesloten, zal het HDTV-signaal
naar ieder HDTV-weergaveapparaat worden gedistribueerd.
7. Als u de HDMI-kabel hebt losgemaakt dient u voor de beste prestatie, de voeding
van de splitser uit- en weer in te schakelen. Controleer of de splitser op de juiste
wijze in HDCP, tussen de DVD-speler en de weergaveapparatuur functioneert.

AANDACHTSPUNTEN
De splitser zal slechts één enkele resolutie per keer distribueren. De resolutie hangt af
van het als eerste of het op de tweede uitgangspoort aangesloten weergaveapparaat.
Vergewis u ervan dat HDCP volledig door uw weergaveapparaten ondersteund
wordt.
