CONNECTING AND OPERATION
How to connect the Switch-Splitter to your devices
1. Connect the HDMI cable from the HD sources to the AVSPLIT-27 input ports.
2. Connect the HDMI cables from your displays (monitor or projector) to the outputs of
the AVSPLIT-27.
3. Standard resolution of outputs set up:
The resolution of the rst device plugged into the AVSPLIT-27 output will be
the default resolution of the other output. (If more than one HDTV displays are
connected to the AVSPLIT-27 before the power is turned on, the resolution will be
set by the HDTV display which is connected to the output port 8.)
4. Plug the 12VDC power supply into the AVSPLIT-27.
5. Turn on the main power switch witch located at the rear panel.
6. Check the input indication LED at the front panel. If the source devices are active,
but the LED is not on, please press the “SELECT” button once.
7. To turn the AVSPLIT-27 into sleep mode, press the “SELECT” button for 3 seconds.
The AVSPLIT-27 power light and input indicating LED will be off.
8. When connections are completed, the HDTV signal will be distributed to each
HDTV display.
9. For the best performance, you should re-start the AVSPLIT-27 power to make sure
the AVSPLIT-27 is working well in HDCP between DVD player and display devices,
when the HDMI cable was disconnected after your last use. (Please use the main
power switch at the rear panel to re-start the AVSPLIT-27)
Operations of the AVSPLIT-27
Note:
1. The AVSPLIT-27 is designed with Smart input source selection feature. The feature
provides auto detection of the active input sources for selection sequence. If the
input source is not active, it will not show in the selection sequence. For example,
4 sources are connected to AVSPLIT-27, but only input 1, input 2 and input 4 are
active; therefore, the selection sequence will work only between input 1, 2 and 4.
2. The POWER ON/OFF of some sources devices (ex. DVD) is designed to turn
the source into sleeping mode, but still send out an active signal. Under this
circumstance, if the selected source device is under sleeping mode, the LED will
not be lighted on.
IR Remote operation mode
Use the AVSPLIT-27 IR remote to turn on this box from sleep mode, the “power” LED
on the front panel will light on. Then use number button to select between sources,
or use the forward and backward button to select input sources.
Note: Only active input source can be selected.

Manual Operation mode
The AVSPLIT-27can be used manually; the “SELECT” button is used as power
button and manual switch.
To power-on or power-off the AVSPLIT-27, please press the “SELECT” button for 3
seconds. Press the “SELECT” button once to select the inputs. The LED will indicate
which input is current source device. If you select Input 1, the “IN1” LED will light on.
The procedure is a cyclic function.

ATTENTIONS
The Splitter will distribute one resolution only at one time. Resolution mode will
depend on that of the rst in or the rst of the sequent display devices. Make sure
your display devices are HDCP compliant and fully support HDCP.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
1. When there is no picture present, please check:
• Whether all connectors connect well or not?
• Whether the connecting cable is damaged?
• Whether the HDMI-140 is reset or not?
2. How to reset output standard resolution:
• Connect all cables and reset the HDMI-140, it will automatically detect the rst
port resolution to become a standard output resolution.
• Disconnect all cables and reset the HDMI-140 then plug in rst cable of display
output, as the rst in display will become standard resolution.
3. How to make sure your input and output device is compliant with HDMI-140?
Please check:
• Whether all devices have been identied by HDMI ATC and with HDMI formal
logo?
• Whether all devices are HDCP compliant?
• Are all HDMI cables in good quality?
• Make sure all displays support the same resolution either 720P, 1080I, 1080P.
4. When there is only a picture but no sound:
• Check your cable connection to see if it ts properly.
• Check your cable to see whether it supports video transmission only or it is has
been damaged?
• HDCP may not match very well at rst connection; reset your HDMI-140 again.
• Do you connect any output to your video recorder? This is not allowed. The device
which supports HDCP will lock audio part automatically.
5. When there couldn’t show resolution in 1080P?
• Make sure your sources (HD DVD Player) and displays fully support 1080P.
• Make sure your HDMI cables are approved by HDMI ATC.

ANSCHLUSS UND BETRIEB
Anschluss des Switch-Splitters an Ihre Geräte
1. Verbinden Sie das HDMI-Kabel von den HD-Quellen mit den Eingängen des
AVSPLIT-27.
2. Verbinden Sie die HDMI-Kabel Ihrer Displays (Monitor oder Projektor) mit den
Ausgängen des AVSPLIT-27.
3. Standardaulösung der Ausgänge einstellen:
Die Auösung des ersten Geräts, das in den Ausgang des AVSPLIT-27 gesteckt
wird, gibt die Standardauösung des anderen Ausgangs vor. (Wenn mehr als
ein HDTV-Display an den Splitter angeschlossen ist, bevor die Stromversorgung
eingeschaltet wird, wird die Auösung durch das HDTV-Display eingestellt, das an
den Ausgangsanschluss 8 angeschlossen ist.)
4. Stecken Sie die 12 VDC Stromversorgung in den AVSPLIT-27.
5. Schalten Sie denn Hauptnetzschalter ein, der sich auf der Rückseite bendet.
6.
Überprüfen Sie die LED der Eingangsanzeige auf der Vorderseite. Wenn die Quellgeräte
aktiv sind, die LED aber nicht leuchtet, drücken Sie bitte die Taste “SELECT” einmal.
7. Um den AVSPLIT-27 in den Schlummermodus zu schalten, drücken Sie bitte die
Taste “SELECT” für 3 Sekunden. Die Power-LED des AVSPLIT-27 und die LED für
die Eingangsanzeige werden abgeschaltet.
8. Wenn die Verbindungen abgeschlossen sind, wird das HDTV-Signal an jedes
HDTV-Display verteilt.
9. Wenn das HDMI-Kabel nach der letzten Anwendung abgezogen wurde, sollten
Sie den AVSPLIT-27 neu starten. Somit holen Sie die beste Leistung heraus und
stellen sicher, dass der AVSPLIT-27 zwischen DVD-Player und Display-Geräten
ordnungsgemäß in HDCP arbeitet. (Bitte verwenden Sie den Hauptnetzschalter auf
der Rückseite, um den AVSPLIT-27 neu zu starten)
Betrieb des AVSPLIT-27
Hinweis:
1. Der AVSPLIT-27 besitzt eine clevere Funktion zur Auswahl der Eingangsquelle.
Diese Funktion ermöglicht die automatische Erkennung der aktiven Eingangsquellen
für die Auswahlsequenz. Wenn die Eingangsquelle nicht aktiv ist, wird diese in der
Auswahlsequenz nicht angezeigt. Beispielsweise wenn 4 Quellen an den AVSPLIT-27
angeschlossen sind, aber nur Eingang 1, Eingang 2 und Eingang 4 aktiv sind; daher
wird die Auswahlsequenz nur zwischen den Eingängen 1, 2 und 4 möglich sein.
2. Das EIN-/AUSCHALTEN einiger Quellgeräte (z. B. DVD) ist so ausgelegt, dass
die Quelle in den Schlummermodus geschaltet wird, aber noch immer ein aktives
Signal sendet. Unter diesen Bedingungen (wenn sich das gewählte Quellgerät im
Schlummermodus bendet) wird die LED nicht leuchten.
Infrarot-Fernbedienungsmodus
Verwenden Sie die AVSPLIT-27 Infrarotfernbedienung, zum diese Box aus
dem Schlummermous einzuschalten; die “Power”-LED auf der Vorderseite wird
aueuchten. Verwenden Sie anschließend die Zifferntasten, um zwischen den
Quellen auszuwählen, oder verwenden Sie die vor- und zurück-Taste, um zwischen
den Eingangsquellen auszuwählen.
Hinweis: Es kann nur eine aktive Eingangsquelle gewählt werden.

Manueller Betriebsmodus
Der AVSPLIT-27 kann manuell verwendet werden; die Taste “SELECT” wird als Ein/
Aus-Taste und manueller Schalter verwendet.
Um den AVSPLIT-27 ein- oder auszuschalten, drücken Sie bitte die Taste “SELECT”
für 3 Sekunden. Drücken Sie die Taste “SELECT” einmal, um die Eingänge zu
wählen. Die LED zeigt an, welcher Eingang das gegenwärtige Quellgerät ist. Wenn
Sie Eingang 1 wählen, wird die “IN1” LED aueuchten.
Der Vorgang läuft zyklisch ab.

ACHTUNG
Der Splitter kann nur eine Auösung auf einmal verteilen. Der Auösungsmodus
ist abhängig vom ersten Einschalten oder vom ersten der aufeinander folgenden
Anzeigegeräte. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre Display-Geräte HDCP-fähig sind und
HDCP vollständig unterstützen.
FEHLERSUCHE
1. Wenn kein Bild vorhanden ist, prüfen Sie bitte Folgendes:
• Sind alle Steckverbinder richtig angeschlossen oder nicht?
• Ist das Anschlusskabel beschädigt?
• Wurde der AVSPLIT-27 zurückgesetzt oder nicht?
2. Zurücksetzen der Standardauösung des Ausgangs:
• Schließen Sie die Kabel an und setzen Sie den AVSPLIT-27 zurück. Die
Auösung des ersten Anschlusses wird automatisch erkannt und als Standard-
Ausgangsauösung festgelegt.
• Ziehen Sie alle Kabel ab und setzen Sie den AVSPLIT-27 zurück. Stecken
Sie anschließend das erste Kabel des Displayausgangs ein, da das zuerst
angeschlossene Display die Standardauösung vorgibt.
3. Wie können Sie sicherstellen, dass all Ihre Eingabe- und Ausgabegeräte mit
AVSPLIT-27 kompatibel sind? Bitte prüfen Sie:
• Wurden alle Geräte von HDMI ATC gekennzeichnet und mit einem HDMI-Logo
ausgezeichnet?
• Sind alle Geräte HDCP-fähig?
• Besitzen alle HDMI-Kabel eine gute Qualität?
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Displays die gleiche Auösung unterstützen, entweder
720P, 1080I oder 1080P.
4. Wenn nur Bild, aber kein Ton vorhanden ist:
• Prüfen Sie Ihre Kabelverbindung auf festen Sitz.
• Prüfen Sie Ihr Kabel, um festzustellen, ob es vielleicht nur Videoübertragung
unterstützt oder möglicherweise beschädigt worden ist.
• HDCP kann sich beim ersten Anschluss unter Umständen nicht gut anpassen;
setzen Sie Ihren AVSPLIT-27 erneut zurück.
• Haben Sie einen Ausgang an Ihren Videorekorder angeschlossen? Das ist nicht
zulässig. Das Gerät, das HDCP unterstützt, wird das Audiosignal automatisch
abschotten.
5. Wenn die Auösung 1080P nicht angezeigt werden kann?
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre Quellen (HD DVD-Player) und Displays 1080P
vollständig unterstützen.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre HDMI-Kabel von HDMI ATC genehmigt worden
sind.

RACCORDEMENT ET FONCTIONNEMENT :
Comment raccorder le Commutateur-Répartiteur à vos équipements ?
1. Raccordez les câbles HDMI de vos sources HD aux ports d'entrée du AVSPLIT-27.
2. Raccordez les câbles HDMI de vos périphériques (écran ou projecteur) aux sorties
du AVSPLIT-27
3. Dénition de la résolution standard des sorties :
La résolution du premier périphérique branché dans la sortie du AVSPLIT-27 est
considérée comme étant la résolution par défaut pour l'autre sortie. (Si plus d'un
écran HDTV sont raccordés au AVSPLIT-27 avant que ce dernier ne soit allumé, la
résolution sera dénie par l'écran HDTV raccordé au port de sortie 8)
4. Branchez la prise d'alimentation 12V c.c dans le AVSPLIT-27
5. Allumez l'interrupteur principal qui se trouve sur le panneau arrière.
6. Vériez le voyant indicateur d'entrée sur la panneau avant. Si les périphériques
sources sont actifs mais que le voyant ne s'allume pas, appuyez une fois sur la
touche “SELECT”.
7. Pour faire passer le AVSPLIT-27 en mode Veille, appuyez, pendant 3 secondes,
sur la touche “SELECT”. Le voyant d'alimentation ainsi que le voyant Entrée du
AVSPLIT-27 s'éteignent alors.
8. Si les raccordements sont effectués, le signal HDTV est réparti vers chacun des
écrans HDTV.
9. Pour de meilleures performances, nous vous conseillons de redémarrer le AVSPLIT-
27 an de garantir que ce dernier fonctionne correctement en HDCP entre le lecteur
DVD et les écrans si le câble HDMI a été débranché après la dernière utilisation.
(Utilisez l'interrupteur principal du panneau arrière pour redémarrer le AVSPLIT-27)
Fonctionnement du AVSPLIT-27
Note :
1. Le AVSPLIT-27 dispose d'une fonction Smart (intelligente) pour la sélection des
sources d'entrée. Cette fonction détecte automatiquement les sources d'entrée actives
qui peuvent être sélectionnées. Si la source d'entrée n'est pas active, elle n'apparaît
pas dans la séquence de sélection. Par exemple, si 4 sources sont raccordées au
AVSPLIT-27 mais que seules les entrées 1, 2 et 4 sont actives, alors la séquence de
sélection ne proposera la sélection possible que des entrées 1, 2 et 4.
2. L'interrupteur MARCHE/ARRET de certains périphériques sources (ex. DVD) est
conçu pour faire passer la source en mode Veille tout en continuant à envoyer un
signal actif. Dans ce cas, si le périphérique source est en mode Veille, le voyant
n'est pas allumé.
Mode de fonctionnement avec la télécommande IR
Utilisez la télécommande IR du AVSPLIT-27 pour sortir le boîtier du mode Veille, le
voyant d'alimentation du panneau avant s'allume alors. Utilisez ensuite les chiffres
pour sélectionner la source ou utilisez les touches avant/arrière pour choisir une
source d'entrée.
Note : Seules les sources d'entrées actives peuvent être sélectionnées.

Mode de fonctionnement manuel
Le AVSPLIT-27 peut être utilisé manuellement. La touche “SELECT” est utilisée
comme interrupteur et comme commutateur manuel.
Pour allumer ou éteindre le AVSPLIT-27, appuyez sur la touche "SELECT” pendant 3
secondes. Appuyez une fois sur la touche “SELECT” pour sélectionner les entrées.
Le voyant indique quelle entrée est la source actuelle. Si vous choisissez l'entrée 1,
le voyant “IN1” s'allume.
La procédure fonctionne en cycles.

ATTENTION
Le répartiteur n'envoie qu'une seule résolution à la fois. Le mode de résolution
dépend du premier écran branché ou du premier écran dans la séquence. Assurez-
vous que vos écrans sont conformes à la norme HDCP et qu'ils la prennent
complètement en charge.
DEPANNAGE :
1. En cas d'absence d'image, vériez :
• Si toutes les prises sont correctement branchées,
• Si les câbles de raccordement ne sont pas endommagés,
• Si le HDMI-140 a été réinitialisé ou non.
2. Comment réinitialiser la résolution de sortie standard ?
• Raccordez tous les câbles et réinitialisez le HDMI-140, la résolution du premier
port est automatiquement détectée et devient la résolution de sortie standard.
• Débranchez tous les câbles et réinitialisez le HDMI-140, puis branchez le premier
câble de sortie d'écran, le premier écran devenant la résolution standard.
3. Comment savoir si vos périphériques d'entrée et de sortie sont compatibles avec
le HDMI-140 ? Vériez :
• Si tous les dispositifs disposent du logo HDMI ATC et HDMI ofciel.
• Si tous les dispositifs sont conformes à la norme HDCP.
• Si tous les câbles HDMI sont en bon état.
• Assurez-vous que tous les écrans prennent en charge la même résolution 720P,
1080I, ou 1080P.
4. Lorsque vous obtenez une image mais sans son :
• Vériez le raccordement du câble pour contrôler qu'il s'adapte parfaitement.
• Vériez votre câble pour contrôler qu'il ne prend pas uniquement en charge la
transmission vidéo ou qu'il n'est pas endommagé.
• Il se peut que le HDCP ne corresponde pas parfaitement lors de la première
connexion. Réinitialisez une nouvelle fois le HDMI-140.
• Avez-vous raccordé une sortie quelconque à votre enregistreur vidéo ? Cela
n'est pas autorisé. Le dispositif HDCP verrouille sinon automatiquement la partie
audio.
5. La résolution 1080P n'est pas atteinte ?
• Assurez-vous que vos sources (Lecteur DVD HD ) et que vos écrans prennent
complètement en charge la résolution 1080P.
• Assurez-vous que vos câbles soient certiés HDMI ATC.

AANSLUITEN EN BEDIENEN
Het aan uw apparatuur aansluiten van de Switch-Splitter
1. Sluit de HDMI-kabels van de HD-bronnen aan op de ingangspoorten van de AVSPLIT-27.
2. Sluit de HDMI-kabels van uw weergaveapparatuur (monitor of projector) aan op de
uitgangen van de AVSPLIT-27.
3. Instellen van de standaardresolutie:
De resolutie van het als eerste op de uitgang van de AVSPLIT-27 aangesloten
apparaat, zal de standaardresolutie van de andere uitgang worden. (Als er voordat
de voeding wordt ingeschakeld, meer dan een (1) HDTV display aan de AVSPLIT-
27 is aangesloten, zal de resolutie door de HDTV-weergaveapparatuur worden

4. Sluit de 12 volt DC voeding aan op de AVSPLIT-27.
5. Schakel de hoofdstroomschakelaar in, deze treft u op het achterpaneel aan.
6. Controleer op het frontpaneel, de LED-indicatie voor wat betreft de ingang. Druk
een (1) keer op de knop “SELECT” (SELECTEREN) als de bronapparatuur actief
is, maar de LED niets weergeeft.
7. Om de AVSPLIT-27 in de slaapstand in te stellen, druk u gedurende 3 seconden op
de knop “SELECT” (SELECTEREN). Het “aan-lampje” van de AVSPLIT-27 en de
LED-indicatie voor wat betreft de ingang zijn beide uit.
8. Als alle verbindingen gemaakt en in orde zijn, zal het HDTV-signaal naar ieder
HDTV-weergaveapparaat gedistribueerd worden.

Wanneer de HDMI-kabel werd losgekoppeld nadat u de splitser voor het laatst heeft
gebruikt, dient u voor het beste resultaat de spanning van de AVSPLIT-27 uit- en
weer in te schakelen om er zeker van te zijn dat de AVSPLIT-27 goed werkt in HDCP
tussen DVD-speler en weergaveapparaten. (Gebruik a.u.b. de hoofdstroomschakelaar
op het achterpaneel om de AVSPLIT-27 uit- en weer in te schakelen)
Werking van de AVSPLIT-27
NB:
1. De AVSPLIT-27 is ontworpen met een functie voor Smart ingangselectie. De functie
biedt de mogelijkheid van een automatische detectie van actieve ingangsbronnen
voor de selectiereeks. Als de ingangbron niet actief is, zal de selectiereeks
niet worden weergegeven. Bijvoorbeeld, als 4 bronnen op de AVSPLIT-27 zijn
aangesloten, maar alleen ingang 1, ingang 2 en ingang 4 actief zijn; zal de
selectiereeks of volgorde slechts ten aanzien van ingang 1, 2 en 4 functioneren.
2. De AAN/UIT-knop van een bepaalde bronapparatuur (behalve bij DVD) is ontworpen
om de bron in de slaapstand in te stellen, maar nog wel een actief signaal te laten
zenden. Als in deze situatie, de geselecteerde bronapparatuur in de slaapstand
staat ingesteld, zal de LED niet oplichten.
Bediening middels de infrarood afstandsbediening
Gebruik de infrarode afstandsbediening van de AVSPLIT-27 om deze box vanuit
de slaapstand te activeren, waarna op het frontpaneel de LED “AAN/UIT” zal gaan
branden. Gebruik de cijfertoetsen om de gewenste bron te selecteren, of gebruik de
vooruit- en/of terugtoets om de ingangsbronnen te selecteren.
NB: Er kan alleen één actieve ingangsbron worden geselecteerd.
1
