•When securing the aramid fiber, wind it
around the fastener by at least one turn.
•After securing the aramid fiber, cut off
the extra aramidfiber.
Turn over the fiber distribution panel back and secure the loose tube on the binding slot using the cable tie. Route the bare
fibers of optical cable into splicing tray 1 and coil fibers according to the routing in the follow ing figure. Only tw o coresare
spliced w ith the pigtailscorresponding to the input pigtails of the SPL.

Splice the tw o fiber cores:
a) Splice the tw o fiber cores w ith fusion splicer.
b) Af ter the splicing is complete and passes the check,
move the splice protection tube to the splicing point for heat
shrinking.

Make sure bare fibers are loose after
splicing and fixing so that they do not
snap.
Set tw o splice protection

Insert the splice protection tube into the fixing base of the splicing tray to protect the splicing
point. Coiling-store optical fiber according to the pre-stored routing.

5 Installing, SplicingPigtail and Drop Cable
Connect pigtails to the adapters of the fiber distribution module.
Don’t touch andbreak off the rootsof other connectors.
Route the pigtails into the upper splicing trays 2 to 4 and coil pigtails according to the routing in the follow ing f igure, then bind
the pigtails in the case using the velcro straps.
4 Installing the Case

Drop cable
Adjust the position of the drop cable so that the stripping point does not exceed the line corresponding to the Tube End on
the fiber spool board.Secure the drop cables to the cabling comb.
Route the bare f ibers of drop cablesinto upper splicing trays (tray 2 to 4) through the fiber spool board and coil fibers according
to the routing in the follow ing figure. The routings of splicing tray 2 to 4 are the same.
Cut one end of the drop cable into an oblique triangle, and then lead in the cable by this end through the cable hole on the
sealing block.
•Use auxiliary tools for fiber crimping. A flat-
head screwdriver is recommended.
•Each card trough is used to fix 4 optical
cables.
•The drop cables must be secured from the
bottom layer.
Use an auxiliary tool to puncture the
cable hole.

7 Checking After the Installation
No. Description
1Verify that all bolts and screw s are fastened.
2Verify that the diameter of the optical cable is matched w ith the inner diameter of the optical cable aperture.
3Verify that optical cables are secured reliably.
4Verify that optical fibers are neatly routed and properly secured using optical f iber straps.
5Verify that optical fibers are correctly routed.
6Verify that the bending radius of pigtails is greater than or equal to 30 mm and the pigtails are properly
secured using protection straps.
7Verify that the box door can be opened and closed easily. Adjust the door if necessary.
8Verify that the box is properly sealed.
9Keep the box key carefully.
