Bulb Replacement
Before replacing the bulb, be sure that the shade and bulb are cool and lamp is unplugged. Unscrew existing bulb
from socket and replace with new bulb of appropriate wattage. Plug lamp back into socket.
Troubleshooting
If your lamp does not light:
(1) Make sure plug is fully and properly inserted at outlet.
(2) If lamp still does not light, unplug from outlet, remove and check bulb and replace as directed above.
(3) If the lamp still does not light, please contact your distributor or place of purchase.
WARNING - POLARIZED PLUG
This Portable Lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce the risk of
electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fully fit in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless
plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter plug.
Cleaning
Cleaning your Lamp is quick and easy - just dust with soft cloth. Do not use cleaners, waxes, or chemicals as they
could cause damage to the finish.

WARNING - SHADE SIZING
All Showcase Collection Lamp and Shade packages are Color and Letter Coded to indicate safety and
appearance matched combinations. To reduce risk of fire or tip over, use only these combinations and do not
exceed recommended maximum wattage.
When not purchasing in recommended combinations, you must match bulb and lamp wattage to the size of shade
you would like to use.

Step 1 - Choose bulb wattage. Do not exceed socket label rating.
Referring to Chart A and Figure C
Step 2 - Choose Shade and Measure Minimum Opening.
Step 3 - Measure from Filament in bulb to all points on shade sides.
Step 4 - Use only shades that exceed the Minimum Opening and the
Minimum Lamp to Shade Distance shown in Chart A for wattage chosen.

1. Unpack the lamp and installing the plastic anchors
Measure the distance between the keyholes on back of backplate, then mark spots on the wall.
Drill pilot holes on the marked spots and insert plastic anchors (AA).
(If fastening with wood screws (BB) to studs, skip this step)
2. Installing the wood screws
Install wood screws (BB) to the plastic anchors (AA) or the spots that you marked on studs.

3. Hanging the lamp body
Hang wall lamp body (C) to wall by attaching the keyholes on back of the backplate to the wood screws
(BB).

4.Assembling harp and shade
Squeeze legs of the harp (B) together and insert the two ends between the prongs of the harp holder.
Place the shade (sold separately) onto harp (B) and secure with finial (A).

5.Installing the bulb
Prior to installing the bulb, inspect socket for silica packet. If packet is present, then remove and throw
away. Do not expose it to children or pets.
Install the 120V, 60HZ, 60-watt max. medium-base type A bulb (not included) into the socket of the light
lamp.
Plug cord into an outlet and turn on at the switch.
