Cutting
Machine
cuts

I.
DISASSEMBLY
Pick-up
the
Universal
Cutting
Machineand
roll
it
over
so
the
black
Bad
Bade
Cover
and
the mandrel
nut
are
facing
you.
Hold
it
in
your
left
or
right
hand
with
the
machine's
handle
pointing
towards
your
bcdy
(as
shown
in
the
picture).
Take
the
Mandel
Wrench
and
pressing
the
black
detenfflocking
buttan
loatedon
the
silver
gear
head
of
the
machine
to
lock
the
blade,
turn
the
wrench
counter
clocMse
and
loosen
the
mandrel
nut
and
remove.
Pinch
the
Blade
and
Bad
Blade
cover
together and
remove
from
the
spindle.
When
you
noad
to
change
blades
please
read
the
fnstructitoas
below
carefulty.

CHOOSING
THE
RIGHT
BLADE
Use
the
C7
Universal
Blade
(the one
with
24
teeth)
for
woods,
plastics,
laminates,
wood
with
nails,
metals,
and
steel.
Use
the
wood
blades
when
working
with
only
woods,
laminates
and
plastics
(see
blade
description
picture).
Note:
Depending
on
which
product
you
purchased
you
may
have
only
one
or
all
five
blades
pictured.

REASSEMBLY
1.
Insert
the
blade
into
the
Bad
Blade
guard
as
shown
(in
the
picture)
with the teeth
polnting
down
Note:
the
logo
side
of
the
blade
goes
down
and
cannot
be
seen
if
you
have
preformed
this
pmedure
properly.
The
blade
will
fit
snugly
over
the
SILVER
colored
inside
bearing
ring
which
is
protnrding
siihtly

Now
holding
the
cover
and
blade in place
with
your
forefingets
and
thumb,
flip
the
blade
and
cwer
over
and
install
it
on
to
the
mandrel
shaft of
your
machine.
Be
dre
to
hold
the
blade
in
place
on
the
bearing
ring
while
installing
the
blade
into
the
wver
(see
picture
above).
Also
be
sure
to
check
that
the
dockwise
rotation
am
on
the
blade
match
the
clockwise
rotation
arrow
imbedded
on
the
head
of
the
machine
otherwise
the
blade
will
not
cut
and
spins
backwards.

Take
the SILVER
colored
large
bore
insert
nut
(as
shown)
and
screw
it
on to the
mandrel
andthru
the
black
Bad
Blade
cover
while making
sure
the
blade
stays
in
place.
If
done
correctty
you
can
do
this all
by
hand
with
out
a
wrench.
If
the
blade
is
misalignedon
the
bearing
ring
and
notcentered
properly
you
will
not
be
able
to
tighten
the
mandrel
nut
by
hand. Inthis
case,
realign
the
blade
on
to
the
bearingand
try
it
again.
When
the blade
is
not
property
seated
on
the
bearing
ring
it
will
spin
out
of
balance
causing
premature
wear
to
the machine
and
possible
Injury
to
yourself.
HINT:
You
may
also roll
back
the
spring
loaded
guard
once
over
the
mandrelshaft
to
glve
yourself
a
check
and
possibly
more
clearan-.
4.Tighten
the mandrel
nut
using
the
silvercoloredmandrel
wrench.
Make
sure
the
nut
is
tight.
At
this
point
if
you
have
installedeverything
correctly
yw
will
barely
see
the
blade
behind
the
black
Bad
Blade
cover.

Once
the
guard,
bladeand nut
are
secured
open
the
spring
loaded
guard
and
tightly
rotate
the
blade
by
hand
to
be
sure
there isnobinding
or catching.
Ifthere is,
go
back
to
check
as
you
may
have
somethingout
of
place.

If
no
binding
or
catching
isobserved
you
are
now
ready
to
pluginyour machine
and
try
your
first
cut.

Turn
on
the
tool
as
you approach
your
work.
Rotate
the
blade
cover
open
with
your
free
hand
and
make
your
cut.
You

notice
the
ease
with
which
the
Bad
Blades
move
searnlessly
through
the
wood,
laminates,
wood
with
nails,
aluminum,
and
sfeel.
You
are
now
ready
to
cut
just
about
anything
your
Universal
