용하시면 엔진 메이커와의 신속한 업무처리에 도움이 됩

엔진 성능 데이터의 기록
엔진 성능은 운전 조건과 엔진 조건에 따라 변한다. 따
라서 양질의 엔진 서비스와 정비에 도움을 줄 수 있도록
성능 데이터를 가능한 자주(적어도 매주) 기록해야 한다.
엔진 메이커의 공장 시험 결과서와 초기 해상 시운전 자
료를 기초로 하여 성능 데이터 기록들에 대한 경향 분석
을 계속함으로써 엔진 상태를 정확히 파악 할 수 있으며,
적절한 사전 예방조치를 쉽게 취할 수 있다. 데이터 기록
양식은 공장 시험 결과 보고서 또는 유사 양식을 사용한
다.
성능관련 매개변수 및 평가
엔진은 연료를 태우고 연속적인 공기의 흡입과 배기가
스 배출을 통해 동력을 생산하므로, 주변 또는 연료분사
계나 흡/배기계 구성품들의 오염 등과 같은 연소 매개변
수들의 변화에 따라 성능 데이터는 많은 영향을 받는다.
정상적인 운전조건에서 벗어나면, 일반적으로 배기가스
온도의 상승이나 연료 소모량의 증가로 나타나며, 결국에
는 엔진의 신뢰성에 영향을 미쳐 더 빈번한 정비/보수가
필요하다. 따라서, 배기가스 온도나 터보과급기의 속도가
정상 운전범위를 초과하게 되면, 엔진 출력은 제한되어야
한다. 주요 성능관련 매개변수들은 다음과 같다.
1. 엔진 주변 조건
기관실의 대기 온도, 압력, 냉각수 온도 등은 엔진
의 출력, 연료 소모량, 배기가스 온도에 영향을 미친
다.
Recording Engine Performance Data
Performance of the engine varies in accordance
with the operating condition and the engine condition.
Therefore, it is strongly recommended to record the
data of engine performance as frequently as possible,
at least weekly, which will provide a reliable guide for
better service and maintenance. A continuous trend
analysis of the recorded data with reference to the
engine maker’s shop test result and commissioning
data will contribute to diagnose the condition of the
engine precisely and the precautions or prescriptions
can be made easily. The forms of data sheets can be
referred to the engine maker’s shop test report or the
like.
Performance Parameters and Evaluation
As the engine produces power by burning fuel with
continuous breathing air and exhaust gas, the
performance data are influenced by the change of
such combustion parameters as ambient condition or
fouled components for fuel injection, air and gas flow
system. If there is any deviation from normal
operating condition, the exhaust gas temperature and
fuel consumption appear to be increased generally,
which eventually influence on reliability of the engine
and need more frequent maintenance. Therefore,
engine power shall be restricted if exhaust gas
temperature or turbocharger speed exceed normal
operating range. Some of the sensitive parameters
are as below.
1. Ambient Condition
Engine room atmospheric temperature and
pressure, cooing water temperature, etc.
influence engine power, fuel consumption,
exhaust gas temperature and so on.
