System Setup
1. Press [SETUP]on the remote control to show the SETUP MENU.
2. Press [ ]/[ ] toselect GENERAL SETUP PAGE, AUDIO SETUP PAGE, DOLBY DIGITAL SETUP, VIDEO SETUP
PAGE or PREFERENCE PAGE. The submenu of the selected item willbe listed belowinstantly.
3. Press [ ]/[ ] tomove the highlightin the submenu to select an item you desireto set, then press [Enter]/[ ]to
enter. Use[ ]/[ ] to select an option, then press[ENTER] to confirmit, or press [ ] to cancel.
4. Then you can press [ ]/[ ] to continue toset other itemsin the submenu.
5. Press [ ] to goback to the parental menu ofthe current one.
6. Press [SETUP]again to exit SETUP MENU.

There are fiveitems in thesubmenu. They are TV DISPLAY, ANGLEMARK, OSD LANGUAGE,CLOSED
CAPTIONS, SCREEN SAVER.
1.1 TV Display:
4:3 PAN SCAN:
When the unit is connected to a normal TV set, the wide-screen image will be shown on the screen in proportion
with some parton the leftand right cut off.
4:3 LETTERBOX:
When the unit is connected to a normal TV set, the wide-screen image will be completely shown on the screen in
proportion with twoblack bars onthe top side and bottom side.
16:9:
When the unit is connected to a wide-screen TV set, select this option. The wide-screen image will be completely
shown on thescreen in proportion.
1.2 ANGLE MARK:
Set this item to ON. When the disc with multiple camera angles is playing, an angle mark will displayed on the
screen. Then you can view the video of different camera angles by pressing [ANGLE] on theremote control.
Set this itemto OFF tohide the angle mark.
1.3 OSD (On Screen Dislay) LANGUAGE:
You can select an OSD language inthis item.

Stereo: Set audio outputto the stereooutput.
L-mono: Set audio outputto the mono-leftchannel.
Some discs haveclosed captions. Setthis item to ON to show the closed captions if the playingdisc has closed
captions. Set thisitem to OFFto hide closed captions.
You can also press [SUBTITLE] on theremote control toshow/hide the closed captions.
ON: When the playerstops or thepicture becomes motionless for some time, there will be a screen saverto
prevent damage tothe display screen.Press [STANDBY] either on the remote controlor on themain unit to switch
off the unit.
OFF: Disable the screensaver function.
When you playthe 5.1-CH disc,the audio is mixed into left channel and right channel.
When you playthe 5.1-CH disc,the audio is mixed into stereo channel.
SPDIF OFF: There will be no digital audio signal output.
ALL: The digital audio signal output will be in RAW format.
PCM ONLY: The digital audio signal output will be in PCM format.
