Preparations
a)
Neverallowchildrenorotherpersonswhoarenotfamiliarwiththeoperatinginstructions tousethe
equipment.Contactyourlocalgovernmentalagencyforinformationregarding
minimum age
requirements fortheuser.
b)
Neverusetheequipmentwhileotherpeople,particularlychildrenoranimals,arenearby.
c)
Alwayskeepinmindthattheoperatororuseroftheequipmentisresponsiblefor
accidents
orrisksinvolvingotherpersonsortheirproperty.
d)
Wearhearingandeyeprotectionwhileoperatingtheequipment.
e)
Alwayswearsturdy,nonslipfootwearandlongtrouserswhenusingtheequipment.
Neveruse
the equipmentbarefoot orinsandals.
f)
Checkthegroundonwhichtheequipmentwillbeusedandremovestones,sticks,wire,
bonesand
otherforeignbodiesthatcouldbecaughtupandviolentlyflungout.
g)
Warning Petrol is highlyflammable.
h)
Onlystorepetrolincontainersdesignedtoholdpetroleum

basedliquids.

Onlyrefueloutintheopenanddonotsmokeduringtherefuelingprocess.

Alwaysrefuelbeforestartingtheengine.Alwaysensurethatthefueltankcapisclosed
whenthe
engineisrunningandwhentheequipmentishot,alsodonotrefuel.

Ifpetrolhasoverflowed,donotunderanycircumstancesattempttostarttheengine instead,
removetheequipmentfromtheaffectedarea.Avoidstartingtheengineuntilthe
petrolfumeshave
completelyevaporated.

Forsafetyreasons,thepetroltankandothertankcapmustbereplacediftheyare
damaged.

Damagedsilencersmustbereplaced.
n)
Beforeuse.Alwaysvisuallyexaminethetoolsandboltsforsignsofwearordamage.To
prevent
anyimbalance,replacewornoutordamagedtoolsandboltsasasetonly.

Ifyouoperateequipmentwithanejectorattherearandexposedrearrollerswithouta
debris
device,youmustwearfulleyeprotectionatalltimes.

Handing

Donotletthecombustionengineruninenclosedareas,asdangerouscarbonmonoxide
gas can
buildup.
b)
Onlyusetheequipmentinbroaddaylightorinwell

litconditions.

Ifpossible,theequipmentshouldnotbeusedondampgrassortakespecialcaretoensure
that youdo
not slip.
d)

Onlyoperatethe equipmentat awaling pace.

Alwaysguidetheequipmentacrossslopes,neverstraightupordown.
