SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, basic precautions
mentioned below should be followed.
Before commissioning this device please read the
instruction manual carefully.
Please keep these instructions, the guaranty certicate,
the sales receipt and, if possible, the carton with the inner
packaging!
The Device is intended exclusively for private and not for
commercial use!
Always remove the plug from the socket whenever the
device is not in use, when attaching accessory parts,
cleaning the device or whenever a disturbance occurs.
Switch off the device beforehand. Pull on the plug, not on
the cable.
In order to protect children from the dangers to electrical
appliances, never leave them unsupervised with the device.
Consequently, when selecting the location for your device,
do so in such a way that children do not have access to the
device. Take care to ensure that the cable does not hang
down.
Test the device and the cable regularly for damage. If
there is damage of any kind, the device should not be used.
Do not repair the device yourself, but rather consult an
authorized expert.

For safety reasons a broken or damaged mains lead
may only be replaced by an equivalent lead from the
manufacturer, our customer service department or a
similarly qualied person.
Keep the device and the cable away from heat, direct
sunlight, moisture, sharp edges and suchlike.
Never use the device unsupervised! Switch off the device
whenever you are not using it, even if this is only for a
moment.
Use only original accessories.
Do not use the device outdoors.
Under no circumstances must the device be placed in
water or other liquid, or come into contact with such. Do
not use the device with wet or moist hands.
Should the device become moist or wet, remove the mains
plug from the socket immediately. Do not reach into the
water.
Use the device only for the intended purpose.
Use only cold water when lling.
The water level must be between the MAX and MIN.
Switch the machine off before removing it from the base.
Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.
The base & exterior of the machine must not become wet.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Please follow the instructions below carefully. They contain important
boiling instructions and guidelines.
Before using the kettle for the rst time, water should be
boiled in it twice without any additives.
Place the machine on a at surface. Fill the kettle with
water. Do not overll! Use the water level indicator.
Place the kettle ush on the base.
Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use
is the same as that of the machine. Details are to be found
on the label on the base.
Switch the machine to position “I”. The control lamp
on the water level indicator shows that the water is being
boiled.
After boiling, the machine switches off automatically.
Disconnect the machine from the main electricity supply.
Do not press up the lid when pouring.

CARE & CLEANING
If servicing is needed, take it to our service centre. Do not try to repair
it. There are no user serviceable parts.
Always remove the plug from the main supply before
cleaning the machine!
The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, if
necessary, with a slightly damp cloth without additives.
The calcium lter can be removed for cleaning.

WARRANTY INFORMATION
This warranty covers only manufacturer defectives for one year, with
the exceptions stated below.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover any damage caused due to physical abuse
of the product by misuse or use other than as intended and described in
the instruction manual, or damage caused by failure to properly clean and
maintain this product or damages caused by natural disaster or acts of war.
The warranty is voided if connected to any voltage or specications other
than prescribed on the product. Also, if the unit is opened for self repair, the
warranty will be void for any further repair or problem analysis. The warranty
may not be used if the product is served in public places such as lodging house,
training centres etc. Warranty does not cover any shipping and handling
charges. Hyvox Inc. deserves the right to refuse any warranty claim without
any valid reasons.
What Will We Do
Should you detect any malfunction, please return the damaged product along
with the purchase receipt with a brief explanation of the problem, either
directly to a distributor of Hyvox products near you or to the shop you had
purchased from. We will repair any defects in materials or workmanship
within one year of purchase. If the defective is found un-repairable within
the warranty period, Hyvox with its discretion will replace it for a new unit.
However, Hyvox reserves complete rights in decision making in regards to
processing the warranty, rejecting any claim without any valid reason or
arranging a replacement.
