The i-box Glow is an all-in-one bedside accessory which combines a stand for your phone, perfect
for watching videos handsfree, with an integral 5W wireless charger, Bluetooth speaker, FM radio,

Caring for your Glow
Important safety information. Please read these instructions fully before operating your Glow.
Do not place naked ame sources, such as lit candles on or near the unit.
Keep away from dripping or splashed liquids.
The unit should not be exposed to direct sunlight, very high or low temperatures, moisture, strong
magnetic elds, microwaves or dusty environments.
Always leave sufcient space around the unit for ventilation, do not cover.
Do not use abrasives or solvents to clean this product. Use only a clean, damp, soft, cloth.
Never attempt to insert wires, pins or other such objects into the vents or openings of the unit.
Do not disassemble or modify the unit, there are no user-serviceable parts.
If the unit is damaged in any way or malfunctions do not use. Consult a qualied service engineer.
Always use the power adaptor supplied; if you need to replace it, make sure the replacement is of
high quality and has the same power rating (5V𝌂3.5A).
Please dispose of this electronic item appropriately. Do not discard to unsorted
household waste at the end of its life. Take it to a collection centre for the
recycling of electrical equipment. Please check with your local authority
for recycling advice.

1. Powering Your Glow
To power your Glow, insert the jack plug into the DC 5V IN port on the back of the Glow 15 and plug
the power adaptor (supplied) into a powered wall socket.

2. Backup Battery Installation
Your Glow has a backup battery feature 26 that uses 2x AA 1.5V batteries (not included). If the
mains supply is disconnected or interrupted, the backup batteries ensure that the time and alarm
settings are saved. It does not power any other functions – for example, radio or display.

3. Standby and Audio Modes
Short press the MODE key (1) to switch between modes – FM radio, Bluetooth and white
noise/nature soundtracks. In either of the modes, long press the MODE key (1) to return to
standby mode.

4. Setting the Time
In some regions, the time will auto-set once the Glow receives an FM signal, in most regions though
you will need to set it manually. To set the time manually, you need to be in standby mode, to enter
standby mode long press the MODE key (1). Long press the PLAY/PAUSE / CLOCK key (3)
to start setting the time.

5. Setting the Alarms
To set an alarm, you need to be in standby mode, to enter standby mode long press the MODE
key (1). Once in standby mode, long press the corresponding alarm key, 1 (6) or 2 (7), to start
setting that alarm.

5.2 Select Alarm Sound
Choose from beep (bP), FM radio, white noise or the selection of nature soundtracks. FM will use
the last played station. When the alarm(s) sound, they will gradually increase in volume up to the
default maximum volume.

In standby mode, short press the corresponding alarm key, 1 (6) or 2 (7), repeatedly to activate
or deactivate the alarm.

8.3 Saving a Station to the Preset List
To save the station playing to one of the 10 available FM preset slots, long press the PLAY/
PAUSE key (3) then short press the next/previous / (4/2) keys to scroll to an empty preset
slot or overwrite an old one. Press PLAY/PAUSE (3) to store.

8.4 Playing a Saved Preset
Short press the PLAY/PAUSE key (3) to enter the preset menu, then short press / (4/2)
to scroll to the preset slot you want to play. The station will start playing immediately.

9. White Noise and Nature Soundtrack Mode
Use the MODE key (1) to enter the white noise and nature soundtrack mode. This mode allows
you to play white noise or a selection of nature soundtracks. Short press the / (4/2) keys to
scroll through the soundtracks. Use the V‒ / 1 (6) and V+ / 2 (7) keys to control the volume.

10. Bluetooth Mode
Use the MODE key (1) to select Bluetooth mode, the Bluetooth icon (16) will ash to indicate
that the Glow is in pairing mode. Your Glow will automatically search for the last connected
device. Connect a compatible device as shown below. When your device is connected you will
hear a chime.

You don’t need to re-pair. The Glow will automatically reconnect with your device when they are in
range and both are turned on.
To disconnect your device, long press the PLAY/PAUSE key (3). You will hear a chime when your
device has been disconnected successfully. Your Glow is now ready to pair with a new device.
10.1 Playback Controls
Use your device to control playback or use the Glow’s controls for the following options:
• Previous track (2)
• Play/Pause track (3)
• Next track (4)
• Use the V‒ / 1 (6) and V+ / 2 (7) keys to control the volume. You can also use your device to
change the volume. Adjust the volume on both your device and the Glow for optimum sound.
11. Sleep Function
In any audio mode you can use the sleep timer function to set a time period after which your Glow
will switch off automatically. This is ideal if you want to set your Glow to switch off automatically
after you have fallen asleep.
1. In any of the audio modes long press the SNOOZE/SLEEP/
DIMMER key (5). The display will show “SLEEP” (24) in the
bottom right corner.
2. Short press the SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER key (5) repeatedly to
cycle through the time options. The available options are: 120,
90, 60, 30, 15, 10, 5 minutes and off.
3. To deactivate the sleep timer, long press the SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER key (5) then short press
SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER (5) repeatedly until ‘OFF’ is displayed. “SLEEP” (24) will no longer be
visible in the bottom right corner.
12. Nightlight
1. Short press the NIGHLIGHT button (8) to turn on the LED nightlight panels (12).
2. Short press the NIGHLIGHT button (8) repeatedly to switch between the different colours: cool
white, warm white, blue, green, red and purple. The seventh option in which the LED will slowly
cycle through a spectrum of multiple colours.
3. Long press the NIGHLIGHT button (8) to turn off the nightlight.

13. Wireless Charging
Place your smartphone horizontally in a central position on the phone stand 11 as shown below.
Your smartphone’s battery status is displayed on its screen and while charging the wireless
charging indicator (19) will show on the Glow’s display.
Please Note
• If a phone that is not suitable for wireless charging or any other metallic object is placed on the
charging panel the wireless charging icon (19) will ash rapidly this is a ‘foreign object
warning’ and the phone or other object should be removed immediately.
• Smartphones that are capable of wireless charging may need to be placed off centre. The built-in
wireless receiver may not be in the centre of your smartphone; this varies by smartphone brand
and model. Adjust the position of your phone until the charging icon (19) appears on the
Glow’s front panel or your phone indicates it is charging.
• The components may heat up during the charging process. They will slowly cool down again
once there is no device being charged.
• The charging time varies depending on the charging capacity of the battery and its current
residual capacity.
• There may be interference to the radio reception if using wireless charging at the same time.
• Your phone will not charge when the Glow is using the backup battery (not being powered by
the power adapter).
14. Wired Charging
You can also charge a phone or other device via the USB output port 14 on the back of the Glow
(cable not included). If you are charging a phone the battery status will be shown on its screen.
During charging the letters “USB” (18) will show on the Glow’s display.
• Do NOT charge the same device using wireless charging and USB charging at the same time.
• There may be some radio interference while charging.
15. Display Brightness
Adjust the brightness of the display by repeatedly short pressing the SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER
key (5).

• Remove your smartphone from its case if the thickness of the case exceeds
5mm or if it contains metal.
• Normally your smartphone should be centred on the charging pad as shown
on page 09. However some phones may need to be placed slightly off centre,
as the built-in wireless receiver may not be centred inside the phone. This varies
by brand/model.

Um Ihr Glow mit Strom zu versorgen, stecken Sie den Klinkenstecker in den DC 5V IN-Anschluss an
der Rückseite des Glow 15 und stecken den (mitgelieferten) Netzadapter an eine Steckdose an.

2. Installation der Backup-Batterie
Ihr Glow verfügt über eine Backup-Batteriefunktion 26 , die mit 2 1,5-V-AA-Batterien betrieben wird
(nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten). Im Falle einer Unterbrechung oder fehlenden Verbindung der
Netzstromversorgung wird das Gerät mit dieser Backup-Stromversorgung betrieben, damit die
Uhrzeit- und Wecker-Einstellungen erhalten bleiben. Sie versorgt keine anderen Funktionen – etwa
Radio oder Display.

3. Standby- und Audiomodus
Drücken Sie kurz die MODUS-Taste (1), um zwischen den Modi UKW-Radio, Bluetooth und
weißes Rauschen und naturklang zu wechseln. In beiden Modi halten Sie die MODUS-Taste (1)
gedrückt, um in den Standby-Modus zu gehen.

4. Einstellen der Uhrzeit
In einigen Regionen wird die Zeit automatisch eingestellt, sobald das Glow ein UKW-Signal
empfängt, in den meisten Regionen müssen Sie sie jedoch manuell einstellen. Zum manuellen
Einstellen der Zeit muss das Gerät im Standby-Modus sein. Halten Sie die MODUS-Taste (1)
gedrückt, um in den Standby-Modus zu gelangen. Halten Sie die ABSPIELEN/PAUSIEREN /
UHR-Taste (3) gedrückt, um die Einstellung der Zeit zu beginnen.

5. Einstellen des Alarms
Zum Einstellen eines Alarms muss das Gerät im Standby-Modus sein. Halten Sie die Taste

Modus die entsprechende Alarmtaste 1 (6) oder 2 (7) gedrückt, um die Einstellung der Alarme

Wählen Sie zwischen Signalton (bP), UKW-Radio, weißem Rauschen oder der Auswahl an
Naturgeräuschen. Bei UKW wird der zuletzt gespielte Sender verwendet. Beim aktivierten Alarm
nimmt die Lautstärke allmählich zu, bis der eingestellte Wert erreicht ist.

Um einen aktuell empfangenen Sender auf einem der 10 verfügbaren FM-Speicherplätze zu
speichern, drücken Sie lange auf die ABSPIELEN/PAUSIEREN-Taste (3), drücken Sie danach
kurz die Tasten Weiter/Zurück / (4/2), um zu einem leeren Speicherplatz zu blättern oder
einen alten Speicherplatz zu überschreiben. Drücken Sie zum Speichern die ABSPIELEN/
PAUSIEREN-Taste (3).

9. Modus weißes Rauschen und Naturklang
Verwenden Sie die Taste MODUS (1), um den Modus weißes Rauschen und Naturklang zu
aktivieren. In diesem Modus können Sie weißes Rauschen oder eine Auswahl von Naturklängen
abspielen. Drücken Sie kurz die Tasten / (4/2), um durch die Naturklänge zu wechseln.
Regeln Sie mit den Tasten V‒ / 1 (6) und V+ / 2 (7) die Lautstärke.

10. Bluetooth-Modus
Verwenden Sie die Taste MODE (1), um den Bluetooth-Modus auszuwählen. Das Symbol blinkt
und zeigt damit an, dass sich das Glow im Kopplungsmodus bendet. Ihr Glow wird automatisch
nach dem zuletzt verbundenen Gerät suchen. Verbinden Sie, wie unten gezeigt, ein kompatibles
Gerät mit Ihrem Glow. Sobald Ihr Gerät verbunden ist, werden Sie einen Klingelton hören.

Sie brauchen nicht neu zu koppeln. Das Glow wird sich automatisch mit Ihrem Gerät neu verbinden,
wenn sie gegenseitig in Reichweite und eingeschaltet sind.
Um Ihr Gerät zu trennen, drücken Sie lange auf die ABSPIELEN/PAUSIEREN-Taste (3). Sobald
Ihr Gerät erfolgreich getrennt worden ist, werden Sie einen Klingelton hören. Ihr Glow kann jetzt mit
einem neuen Gerät gekoppelt werden.
10.1 Wiedergabesteuerung
Verwenden Sie Ihr Gerät, um die Wiedergabe zu steuern, oder verwenden Sie die Steuerungen des
Glow für die folgenden Optionen:
• Vorheriger Titel (2)
• Titel abspielen/pausieren (3)
• Nächster Titel (4)
• Regeln Sie mit den Tasten V‒ / 1 (6) und V+ / 2 (7) die Lautstärke. Sie können auch Ihr Gerät
verwenden, um die Lautstärke zu ändern. Um einen optimalen Klang zu erhalten, empfehlen wir,
die Lautstärke sowohl an Ihrem Gerät als auch am Glow einzustellen.
11. Einschlaffunktion
Sie können in jedem Audiomodus die Einschlaffunktion verwenden, um die Zeit einzustellen, nach
der sich Ihr Glow automatisch abschaltet. Dies ist hilfreich, wenn Sie möchten, dass sich Ihr Glow
automatisch abschaltet, nachdem Sie eingeschlafen sind.
1. Halten Sie in einem der Audiomodi die Taste SNOOZE/SLEEP/
DIMMER (5) gedrückt. In der rechten unteren Ecke des Displays
wird „SLEEP“ (24) angezeigt.
2. Durch kurzes Drücken auf die Taste SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER
(5) können Sie nacheinander alle Zeitoptionen aufrufen. Folgende
Optionen sind verfügbar: 120, 90, 60, 30, 15, 10, 5 Minuten und aus.
3. Wenn Sie den Schlaffunktions-Timer deaktivieren möchten, halten Sie die Taste SNOOZE/
SLEEP/DIMMER (5) gedrückt und drücken Sie dann wiederholt kurz die Taste SNOOZE/SLEEP/
DIMMER (5), bis „OFF“ angezeigt wird. In der rechten unteren Ecke wird nun nicht mehr „SLEEP“
(24) angezeigt.

12. Nachtlicht
1. Drücken Sie kurz die Taste NACHTLICHT (8), um die LED-Nachtlichtpaneele 12 einzuschalten.
2. Drücken Sie wiederholt kurz die Taste NACHTLICHT (8), um zwischen den verschiedenen
Farben zu wechseln: kaltweiß, warmweiß, blau, grün, rot und violett. Bei der siebten Option
wechselt die LED langsam durch ein Spektrum von mehreren Farben.
3. Drücken Sie lange auf die Taste NACHTLICHT (8), um das Nachtlicht auszuschalten.
13. Kabelloses Aufladen
Positionieren Sie Ihr Smartphone horizontal in einer mittigen Position auf dem Telefonständer 11 ;
siehe Abbildung nachstehend. Der Akkustand Ihres Smartphones wird auf seinem Display
angezeigt, und während des Ladevorgangs erscheint auf dem Display des Glow die Anzeige
(19) für kabelloses Laden.
Bitte beachten Sie
• Wenn ein Telefon, das nicht für das kabellose Laden geeignet ist, oder ein anderer
Metallgegenstand auf die Ladestation gelegt wird, blinkt das Symbol (19) für kabelloses
Laden schnell zur „Fremdkörperwarnung“. Das Telefon beziehungsweise der Gegenstand
müssen sofort entfernt werden.
• Smartphones, die kabellos aufgeladen werden können, müssen ggf. etwas außerhalb der
Mitte platziert werden. Der eingebaute Ladeempfänger bendet sich nicht bei jeder Marke
beziehungsweise bei jedem Modell in der Mitte des Smartphones. Passen Sie die Position Ihres
Telefons an, bis das Ladesymbol (19) an der Vorderseite des Glow erscheint oder Ihr Telefon
anzeigt, dass es geladen wird.
• Die Komponenten können sich während des Ladevorgangs erhitzen. Sie kühlen nach Abschluss
des Ladevorgangs wieder ab.
• Die Ladezeit hängt von der Ladekapazität der Batterie und ihrer aktuellen Restkapazität ab.
• Der Radioempfang kann gestört sein, wenn gleichzeitig kabellos geladen wird.
• Ihr Telefon wird nicht aufgeladen, wenn das Glow über die Backup-Batterie mit Strom versorgt
wird (und nicht über den Netzadapter).
14. Aufladen mit Kabel
Sie können ein Telefon oder ein anderes Gerät auch am USB-Anschluss 14 an der Rückseite des
Glow auaden (Kabel ist im Lieferumfang nicht enthalten). Beim Auaden eines Telefons wird der
Akkustatus auf dessen Display angezeigt. Auf dem Display des Glow erscheinen während des
Ladevorgangs die Buchstaben „USB“ (18).
• Dasselbe Gerät darf NICHT gleichzeitig kabellos und über USB geladen werden.
• Während des Ladevorgangs kann es zu Funkstörungen kommen.
15. Helligkeit des Displays
Die Helligkeit des Displays wird durch kurzes wiederholtes Drücken der Taste SNOOZE/SLEEP/
DIMMER (5) eingestellt.

Kabelloses Laden
funktioniert nicht
• Nehmen Sie Ihr Smartphone aus der Hülle, wenn die Dicke der Hülle 5 mm
überschreitet oder wenn sie Metall enthält.
• Normalerweise sollte Ihr Smartphone mittig auf der Ladestation liegen, wie
auf Seite 17 gezeigt. Einige Smartphones müssen jedoch möglicherweise
etwas dezentral platziert werden, da der eingebaute kabellose Empfänger
möglicherweise nicht mittig im Telefon sitzt. Dies ist je nach Marke/Modell
unterschiedlich.
