This User Manual includes key features, operating instructions (use, maintenance, repair, storage and trans-
portation) for Stationary dog chaser «GRAD DUOS S» (hereinafter - appliance).
This product is a compact stationary appliance designed for outdoor environment to prevent dog attacks, as
well as cats, foxes, raccoons and other animals. Please read all the instructions before attempting to operate this
appliance.
All the safety and operating instructions should be read, adhered to and followed, it will prolong the service
life and will enable a more efficient use of the appliance.
Caution! According to Sanitary Regulations and Norms 2.2.4/2.1.8.582-96 the operating appliance isn’t al-
lowed to place at a distance of 2,5 m or less! It must be taken into account in workplace organization.
Caution! Don’t keep the operating appliance at a close distance from human ears – it may cause headache or
temporary hearing loss!
Caution! The operating appliance may have a bad influence on such pets as cavies, hamsters and rats. It is
not recommended to operate the appliance near other pets (cats, dogs) so far as they are sensitive to ultrasound.
Caution! Keep out of reach of children!
1 Appliance description and operation
1.1 Appliance features
1.1.1 This product is a compact stationary appliance designed for outdoor environment to prevent dog at-
tacks, as well as cats, foxes, raccoons and other animals. The appliance generates ultrasonic radiation, which cre-
ates uncomfortable conditions for the most of the animals. At the same time the appliance does not harm them
and safe for humans.

1.3.2 Visual appearance of the appliance is shown in Figure 1

The case of the appliance is made of high impact ABS plastic.
1.4 Structure and operating
1.4.1 The appliance generates ultrasonic radiation which is intolerable for animals. Permanent change of ra-
diation settings excludes any animal addiction.
1.4.2 The device runs under command of microcontroller with embedded software.

2. Intended use
2.1 Operating restrictions
2.1.1 Do not damage the ultrasonic radiators located behind the grid by foreign objects. Damage of the radia-
tor may cause improper appliance operation, may reduce its efficiency or disable.
2.1.2 When the appliance is in use do not cover ultrasonic radiators with any objects, it may disable the appli-
ance.
2.1.3 Do not open or try to disassemble the appliance.
2.1.4 Do not put water and foreign objects inside the appliance.
2.2 Operating instructions
2.2.1 To turn the appliance ON put a plug into a socket. After that the power indicator starts to flash (2).
2.2.2 It is important to choose the right place for the appliance installation to achieve the maximum effect.
Take into account the following:
- it is important to keep the appliance safe from natural phenomena (rain, snow) when installing it outdoors,
do not block ultrasonic radiators;
- when putting the appliance in a house you should concern that the appliance can control the rodents in stat-
ed area only when it is located in empty house of a similar size. If the area is divided into several rooms or filled
with shelves and partitions it would be needed several appliances placed all over the area;
- installing the appliance at the distance of 60-70 cm from the ground will bring to maximum efficient opera-
tion process. For putting a plug into a socket it is possible to use extensions cords. Do not use homemade or de-
fective extension cords –it may disable the appliance and cause short circuit!
3 Technical maintenance
3.1 Technical maintenance consists in cleaning the surface of the appliance as needed.
3.2 Current repair. Types of faults.
Typical faults and possible solutions are specified in Table 2.

4Packaging, storage and transportation
Each appliance is packed in individual package according to the supply package as indicated in Table 1.
Device moving in the package is not allowed. Parcels are placed into shipping containers –a corrugated fi-
berboard box (State Standard 22637).
Parcels can be transported by vehicle or railway in covered trucks or containers, by air in pressurized mod-
ules.
During transporting parcels should be protected from the effect of atmospheric conditions and solar radiation.
Transportation conditions:
- ambient temperature: from -50 to 50С;
- relative humidity up to 95 % at 25С;
- atmospheric pressure from 84 up to 107 кPа(from 630 up to 800 mmHg)
- peak impact acceleration is up to 147 m/s2(15g) at a duration of action of impact acceleration 10…15 ms.
The requirements on warning signs must be strictly obeyed when loading and transporting.

6 Manufacturer’s warranty
6.1 The manufacturer guarantees that the product conforms to the specifications 6329-004-64062607-2012
under the operating, storage and transportation conditions specified in the operational documentation.
6.2 Product lifetime –at least 5 years.
6.3 Warranty period —12 months starting with the day of purchase.
6.4 If the device fails during the warranty period, the supplier (manufacturer or companies providing mainte-
nance services) should replace or repair it at its own expense.
6.5 Customer loses the right to obtain warranty service in the following cases:
- after the expiry of warranty period;
- violation of the operating, transportation and storage rules;
-mechanical damages causing device failure after the purchase;
- manufacturer’s sealing is broken.
6.6 Repair and maintenance of the appliance with the expired warranty period is covered at the customer’s
expense.

7 Certification
7.1 The appliance meets the requirements of Technical Regulations of the Customs Union ТS004/2011
«Safety of low-voltage equipment», TS020/2011 «Electromagnetic Compatibility of technical means»,
ТР ТС020/2011 «Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means». of conformity to EAEC № RU D-
RU.АТ15.V.02025. Expiration date is 07.06.2022 inclusive.
