Do not use or store the Meter in an environment with high
temperature, humidity, or near explosions, open ames
or strong magnetic elds. The performance of the Meter
may deteriorate after dampened.
When using the test leads, keep your ngers behind the
nger guards.
Disconnect circuit power and discharge all high-voltage
capacitors before testing resistance, continuity, diodes
or hFE.
Replace the battery as soon as the battery indicator
signals it. With a low battery, the Meter might produce
false readings that can lead to electric shock and
personal injury.
Break o the connection between the testing leads and
the circuit being tested, and turn the Meter power o
before opening the Meter’s case.
When servicing the Meter, use only the same model
number or replacement parts with identical electrical
specications.
Do not alter the internal circuit of the Meter at will to avoid
damage to the Meter or any accidents.
Soft cloth and mild detergent should be used to clean the
surface of the Meter when servicing. To protect the Meter
from corrosion, damage or any accidents do not use any
abrasives or solvents on its surface.
