FCC STATEMENT

Chapter 1 Overview of Product
iBall Baton 8-Port 10/100M PoE Switch + 1-Port Uplink
provides the seamless 10/100Mbps Auto-Negotiation RJ45
Fast Ethernet network connection.
PoE Switch is also a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE*).
8-10/100Mbps (RJ45) Ethernet Ports (Port no. 1 to 8) of switch
support Power over Ethernet (PoE) function which can
automatically detect and supply power with IEEE 802.3af
complaint powered devices (PDs*).
1 x 10/100M RJ45 Uplink LAN Port.to connect existing network
PSE: A device (switch) that will provide power in a PoE setup.
PoE switch: Allows electrical power to transmit along with data,
over standard twisted-pair cable allowing you to expand your
network where there are no power lines or outlets.
PD is device powered by a PSE
Examples of PD devices are IP Phones, Wireless AP’s,
Network cameras, etc.

Chapter 3 Installation
1) Please inspect the Power Adapter carefully, and make sure
that it is properly connected to a power source.
2) Power on. It will be automatically initialized and the LED
indicators should respond as follows:
3.1 Rear Panel
The rear panel of the iB-LPDS81EL consists of 8- 10/100M PoE
ports & 1x 10/100Mbps Uplink Port.
