Servicing
Do not attempt to service this unit unless you are specifically
instructed and trained to do so.
Do not attempt to access areas of the unit where dangerous
voltages are present.
Unplug the ImageTrac from the wall outlet and refer servicing to
qualified service personnel under the following conditions:
• The power supply cord is damaged.
• Liquid has been spilled into the enclosure of the unit.
• The product does not function normally by following the
instructions in the User’s Guide. Adjust only those controls
covered in the operating instructions. Improper adjustment
of other controls may result in damage and will often require
rework by a qualified technician to restore the product to its
normal operation.
• The product has been damaged in any way.
• The unit displays a negative and distinct change in
performance.
• The ImageTrac uses batteries in the Host PC and in the
keyboard and mouse. It is the customer’s responsibility to
find the best battery recycling and disposal methods.
Note: For pluggable equipment, the
socket-outlet shall be installed near the
equipment and shall be easily accessible.
Operator Instructions
Operating Temperature
To reduce the risk of operator error or accident, the ImageTrac
should be operated between 15º Celsius (59º F) and 32º Celsius
(90º F). It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that
adequate environmental conditions are maintained in the
equipment operating area.
Local Lighting
The supplier of this equipment does not provide local lighting
as part of the product installation. It is the responsibility of the
purchaser to ensure adequate lighting is provided to reduce
the risk of operator eyestrain or accidents. For information on
lighting conditions, consult the local laws regarding human
factors engineering for the country where the equipment is
installed.
Body Strain/Accident
To reduce the risk of body strain or accident, the operator of
this equipment should avoid repetitive motions, uncomfortable
postures, and take breaks as recommended by local regulation.
Operating Errors
Errors in operation may cause hazards. To reduce this risk,
do not attempt to operate the equipment if you are mentally
impaired due to illness, stress, or if you are under the influence
of medication, alcohol, or other drugs.
