INTRODUCTION:
Thank you for choosing this ICEKING appliance. It has been designed to give
years of trouble-free use provided it is installed and maintained correctly.
Please read these instructions carefully before installing or using your
appliance. It is advisable to keep your purchase and installation receipts with
these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
Included is some important safety information in addition to guidelines and
recommendations that will enable you to take full advantage of all the
functions available.
This quality appliance has been tested and certified to meet all applicable UK
electrical and safety standards.
This appliance must be installed and connected in accordance with current
regulations by a qualified electrician.
After unpacking the appliance ensure that there is no visible damage. If the
appliance has been damaged during transit, do not use it, contact your
retailer immediately.

SECTION 1: SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
THIS PRODUCT IS FOR HOUSEHOLD USE
ONLY!
This appliance is intended strictly for storing food only.
If the appliance, when unpacked, is damaged please contact your retailer
immediately.
The mains electricity supply must conform to the rating plate of the
appliance.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF FIRE WARNING SYMBOL;
ISO 7010 W021
WARNING!
When using, servicing and disposing of the appliance, please pay
attention to the symbol as seen above, this is located on the rear of the
appliance (rear panel or compressor). This is a ‘risk of fire warning
symbol’. There are flammable materials in refrigerant pipes and the
compressor. Please ensure this appliance is as far away as possible from
any heat source.

•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
•Children should not play with the appliance.
•Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision
•The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible.
•When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or
damaged.
•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
•Keep the appliance power cord out of the reach of children under 8 years
of age.
•Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-
in structure, clear of obstruction.

•Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting
process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
•Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
•Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of
the appliance.
•Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable
propellant in this appliance, for flammable refrigerants is used in the
freezer, please be careful when installing, handling, servicing and
recycling the appliance.
•
Regulations require the appliance to be earthed.
•It is recommended to check the supply cable regularly for any sign of
deterioration, the appliance should not be used if the cable is damaged.
•Do not place multiple portable socket outlets or portable power
supplies at the rear of the appliance.
•This appliance is fitted with an earthed plug. Please ensure that the
wall socket in your house is well earthed.
•Make sure the appliance is turned off and unplugged before
performing any cleaning or maintenance operations.
•Clean all surfaces that come into contact with food regularly with
warm soapy water.

•Do not leave the lid open for long periods as this will cause the
temperature inside the cabinet to rise and adversely affect the
operation of the product.
•Raw meat and fish should be stored in suitable containers and kept
away from each other.
•This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications.
Positioning:
Install this appliance in a location where the ambient temperature corresponds to the
climate class indicated on the rating plate of the appliance. For refrigerating appliances
with climate class: —
•extended temperate: ‘this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used
at ambient temperatures ranging from 10 °C to 32 °C (SN)
•temperate: ‘this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient
temperatures ranging from 16 °C to 32 °C (N)
•subtropical: ‘this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient
temperatures ranging from 16 °C to 38 °C (ST)
•tropical: ‘this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient
temperatures ranging from 16 °C to 43 °C (T)

SECTION 3: INSTALLING YOUR FREEZER
Unpacking Your Freezer:
•Remove all packaging material. This includes the foam base and
all adhesive tape holding the freezer accessories inside and
outside.
•Inspect and remove any remains of packing, tape or printed
materials before powering on the freezer.
Adjusting Your Freezer:
•Your freezer is designed for freestanding installation only. It
should not be recessed or built-in.
•Place the freezer on to a solid floor strong enough to support it
fully loaded.
•When moving the freezer, never tilt it more than a 45-degree
angle. This could damage the compressor and the sealed system.
•If the freezer is tilted let it stand in an upright position for at
least 24
hours prior to switching on. This is to allow the
refrigerant to settle.

Location:
•To ensure your freezer works at the maximum efficiency it was
designed for, you should install it in a location where there
is
adequate air circulation.
•The appliance should be installed well away from sources of
heat such as radiators, boilers, direct sunlight etc.
•
The following distancesare recommended asminimum
clearances around the freezer:
Sides……………4” (102mm)
Back..................4” (102mm)
Top....................DO NOT BLOCK

SECTION 4: FREEZER FEATURES AND USE
Operating Your Freezer
•Set the temperature, on the temperature control knob. “MIN”
being the warmest and “MAX” being the coldest. Initially set the
temperatures on “NORMAL”.
•Place food inside the freezer after it has reached temperature.
After running the freezer for 24 hours set the freezer to your
desired setting.
•If the freezer is switched off or experiences a power cut, allow 5
minutes before plugging it back in and switching on.
General Features:
•Setting: Press ‘SET’ button, select the temperature setting
mode. The temperature indicator bar goes up by a sliding
scale. The temperature can run from ‘MIN’ being the warmest
to ‘MAX’ being the coldest
•Super freezing
Press ‘SET’ button consecutive to enter ‘SUPER’ freezing
mode from scale ‘MAX’, the indicator bar on the left hereby
will turn dark whereas the indicator light of ‘SUPER’ turns on.
The mode is automatically set in 5 seconds after the last
press. The compressor will keep working in ‘SUPER’ freezing
mode.
•If ‘SUPER’ mode keeps running for 52 hours and not stopped
manually, the system will automatically cut out of this mode.
•Adjustable temperature: (see Figure 1)

Indicator Lights:
•Temperature Indicator Light (Bright Blue): To adjust the temperature from
Scale Min to Scale Max →N.B. Max is the Coldest.
•Super Freezing Indicator Light (Bright Blue): Light on = appliance in
‘Super’ mode; light off = ‘Super’ mode deactivated.
•Running Indicator Light (Bright Green): Light on = power to appliance;
light off = no power to appliance.
•Light Indicator will reduce in intensity after 30 minutes.
Temperature Sensor Fault Alarm:
•When there is a disconnection or short out of the temperature sensor,
as a fault alarm, the temperature indicator bar will flash from left to
right every 0.5 seconds.

SECTION 5:
FOOD STORAGE BASKET
Basket:
•Your freezer has a removablebasket which allows you
to store food more accessibly or you can remove it altogether if
not required.
SECTION 6: DEFROSTING AND DRAINING
SWITCH THE PRODUCT OFF AND REMOVE THE PLUG!
•For themost efficient operation and minimum energy consumption,
defrost
whenever the frost becomes
1/4”
thick. Never use a sharp
metal instrument to remove the frost, as it may damage the cooling
coils.
(A punctured coil will void the warranty). Use only the plastic
scraper provided. Do not use boiling water as it may damage the unit.
•Remove frozen food from the freezer and place it in a cool bag to
protect the food.
•Unplug the unit. Defrosting usually takes a few hours. To defrost faster
keep the lid open.

•For draining, place a tray beneath the outer drain plug. Unscrew and
remove the drain plug. This will let the water flow out in to the tray.
When done, screw the drain plug back in place.
•Note: monitor the container under the drain to avoid overflow.
•When draining is complete, wipe the interior of the freezer with a
soft
cloth. Plug in and switch on.
•Reset thetemperature control to thedesired setting.
•Return the food into the freezer.
•Wipe containers before storing to avoid spillage.
•Hot food should be allowed to cool before storing in the freezer.
This
willpreventunnecessaryenergyuse.
Packaging Recommendations:
➢Plastic containers with air tight lids
.
➢Heavy duty aluminum foil containers
➢Plastic wrap made from saran film
& s
elf-sealing plastic bags.
•Do not refreeze defrosted/thawed foods.
•It is recommended that the freezing date be marked on the
packaging.
•When storing meats, keep in the original packaging or rewrap as
necessary.
•Proper freezer storage requires correct packaging. All foods must be
in
packages, which do not allow the flow of air or moisture in, or out.
Improper storage will result in odor and taste transfer and will result
in
the drying out of the food.
•Follow package or container instructions for proper storage.

SECTION 7: CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Switch off and unplug the appliance.
Caution!!!
Before using cleaning products, always read and follow manufacturer’s
instructions and warnings to avoid personal injury or product damage.
General:
IMPORTANT: Ethereal oils and organic solvents can attack
plastic parts, e.g. lemon juice or the juice from orange peel,
butyric acid or cleanser that contains acetic acid
•Do not allow such substances to come into contact
with the appliance
•Do not use any abrasive cleaners
•Remove the food from the freezer and store them in
a cool place, well covered
•Switch the appliance off and remove the plug from
the mains, or switch off or remove circuit breaker
fuse
•Clean the appliance and the interior accessories with
a cloth and lukewarm water. After cleaning, wipe
with fresh water and rub dry
•Accumulation of dust around the condenser
increases energy consumption. For this reason,
carefully clean the condenser at the back of the
appliance once a year with a soft brush
or a vacuum cleaner
•After everything is dry place the appliance back into
service

Lid Seals:
•Clean the lid seals every three months according to general instructions.
Seals must be kept clean and pliable to ensure a proper seal.
Product Care during Absences:
•For long vacations, absences or moving home, remove the food from
the freezer, unplug and clean the lid seals according to “General
cleaning” section. Prop the lid open, so that air can circulate inside.
•When moving the product,
always ensure that it is in a vertical position.
•Do not move the unit in a lying down/horizontal position as this may
cause damage to the sealed system. In such cases, the damage is
irreparable.
Normal Operating Sounds You May Hear:
• Gurgling sounds or slight vibrations are the result of the refrigerant
circulating through the cooling coils.
•The thermostat control will click when it cycles on and off.

THE PRODUCT
Precautions:
Iftheapplianceistobediscard/recycled,youmustremovethelid.Thiswill
reduce the possibility of danger to children. The flammable foaming needs to
bedisposed of by a professional company/person or your local council. We
decline liability for any damage or accident derived from any use of this
product which does not conform to the instructions contained in this
booklet.
CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT
2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE).
By ensuring this product is disposed correctly, you will help
and human health, which could otherwise be caused by
inappropriate waste handling. The symbol on the product
indicates that this product may not be treated as household
waste. Instead it must be handed over to the appropriate/
electronic equipment. Disposal must be carried out in
recovery and recycling of this product, please contact your
local council office, your household waste disposal service
or the shop where you purchased the product.

repairs during the first 24 months from date of purchase provided that: any claim is
accompanied by evidence of the model reference, modelserial number and proof of
purchase, such as a Sales Receipt, showing that the appliance was purchased within the 24
months prior to the date ofclaim.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE GUARANTEE:

Any appliance not correctly installed and operated in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions.
•
Any appliance that is used for anything other than domestic purposes.
•
Any defect caused by accident, misuse, unauthorized modification or
inexpert repair.
•
Cost of Call-out where a fault cannot be found with the appliance.
•
Cost of Call-out for work covering routine maintenance, such as, but not
exclusively, cleaning of filters or defrosting.
•
Cost of Call-out for work required to correct the alignment of doors
following door reversal procedures carried out by you.
•
Use of the appliance by anyone other than the Householder.
•
Use in any commercial environment.
•
Consumable items, such as, but not exclusively, fuses in plugs, bulbs and
breakable items which require routine replacement.
•
Repair costs incurred that have not been authorised by Repairtech and/or
carried out by a non-approved Repairtech engineer.
