Thank you for choosing this Iceking appliance. It has been
designed to give years of trouble-free use provided it is installed
and maintained correctly.
Please read these instructions carefully before installing or using your
appliance. It is advisable to keep your purchase and installation
receipts
with these instructions in a safe place for future reference.

some important safety information in addition to guidelines
and
recommendations that will enable you to take full advantage of all
the
functions available.
This quality appliance has been tested and certified to meet all
applicable UK electrical and safety standards.
This appliance must be installed and connected in accordance
with current regulations by a qualified electrician.
After unpacking the appliance ensure that there is no visible
damage.
If the appliance has been damaged during transit, do not use it,

This appliance is intended strictly for storing food only. If the
appliance, when unpacked, is damaged please contact your
retailer.
The mains electricity supply must conform to the rating plate of
the appliance.

WARNING!
When using, servicing and disposing of the appliance, please pay
attention to the symbol as seen above, this is located on the rear
of the appliance (rear panel or compressor). This is a ‘risk of fire
warning symbol’. There are flammable materials in refrigerant
pipes and compressor. Please ensure appliance is far away from
any fire source when using, servicing or disposing.

•Children shall not play with the appliance.
•Children aged from 3 to 8 years of age are allowed to load and
unload Refrigeration appliances.
•Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
•The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible.
•When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord is not
trapped or damaged.
•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
•Keep the appliance power cord out of the reach of children under 8
years of age.
•Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the
built-in structure, clear of obstruction.
•Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the
defrosting process, other than those recommended by the
manufacturer.
•Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
•Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage
compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type
recommended by the manufacturer.
•Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a
flammable propellant in this appliance, for flammable refrigerants is
used in the freezer, please be careful when installing, handling,
servicing and recycling the appliance.
•A switch is built into those appliances fitted with lighting. When the
appliance door is opened the light comes on automatically and is
switched off automatically when closed.
•Regulations require the appliance to be earthed.
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above

deterioration, the appliance should not be used if the cable is
damaged.
•Do not locate multiple portable socket outlets or portable power
supplies at the rear of the appliance.
•This appliance is fitted with an earthed plug. Please ensure that the
wall socket in your house is well earthed.
•Make sure the appliance is turned off and unplugged before
performing any cleaning or maintenance operations.
•Clean all surfaces that come into contact with food regularly with
warm soapy water.
•Do not leave the door open for long periods as this will cause the
temperature inside the cabinet to rise and adversely affect the
operation of the product.
•Raw meat and fish should be stored in suitable containers and kept
on different shelves.
•Two and Three star rated frozen food compartments are suitable
for storing pre-frozen food, ice cream and for making ice cubes.
They are not suitable for freezing fresh produce.
•This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as:
-Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working
environments with no more than six staff members.
-By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments
in individual rooms.
Please note that this appliance is not designed for use in a garage
or out-house. The climate class specifies an ambient temperature
of N/ST (+16°c - +38°c) meaning that this appliance is designed to
be sited in the temperatures shown above
•It is recommended to check the supply cable regularly for any sign of

INSTALLATION
START-UP
•Fully unpack the appliance. Please ensure that all packaging materials
are removed and properly disposed of prior to installation and are kept
out of children’s reach.
•The appliance should be installed in a dry, well ventilated room and not
exposed to direct sunlight and not placed near a heat source.
•Leave at least a 10cm space between the appliance and surroundings for
ventilations and dissipation.
•The electricity supply must conform to as specified on the rating plate and
follow local regulations.
•It is recommended to wait at least four hours with the product in an
upright position, before plugging in the appliance after installation. This
helps the refrigerant circuit to stabilize.
•The product must also be on stable flooring and be straight and level.
1. Insert the plug in the socket. The green light (See page 9, position 2)
or the display will come on.
2. Allow one hour for the temperature inside the appliance to go down
and then place food inside the appliance.
For FIG 2; 1 is the warmest setting and 7 is the coldest setting. Under
normal conditions the temperature control should be set between 3 and 4
Do not place warm food into the refrigerator.
The capacity of the appliance, as shown on the rating plate, should
not be exceeded.
When filling the appliance with large quantities of fresh food, it is
recommended to turn on the super freeze function (if available) 24
hours in advance.
The storage time for purchased deep-frozen products varies and
depends on the type of product and its packaging. Therefore, strictly
observe the producer/manufacturer’s instructions on the packaging.

CAUTION! Before replacing the lamp, you must disconnect the
appliance from the mains power supply. The lamp wattage can be
seen on the thermostat.
Follow the below process to replace the lamp:
1. Set the temperature of the thermostat control knob to number “0” to switch
off the appliance.
2. Unplug the appliance to make sure the it is disconnected from the main
power supply.
3. Remove the screw from the lamp cover.
4. Pull the lamp cover out.
5. Unscrew the lamp.
6. Fit new lamp accordingly, then replace the lamp cover and screw.
7. Plug in the appliance and move the temperature control back to the correct
position.

Always ensure that the power supply is switched off prior to conducting any
maintenance or cleaning of the appliance.
If you leave your appliance out of use for an extended period, switch off, defrost,
clean the interior with soapy water, dry and leave the door open to prevent
mould and unpleasant smells building up inside.
The appliance should be defrosted once the thickness of ice on the walls
reaches 5-6 mm.
Do not use any electrical, sharp or mechanical objects to assist in defrosting the
ice removal process, unless supplied or approved by manufacturer or approved
Service Centre.
To remove ice from the inner walls, use a plastic or wooden scraper without
sharp edges. Never use a metal scraper.
Proceed as follows;
Make sure to unplug the appliance.
Dry your hands thoroughly to prevent skin damage by contact with ice (it is
advisable to use gloves)
Remove all frozen food from the appliance, put it into a container or cool
box, put the frozen cool blocks on top of the frozen food to help keep it very
cold and place the container/cool box in a cool, dry room.
Pull out the water drain plug (if available) located at the bottom of the
appliance, otherwise you must wipe up the water at the bottom of the
appliance compartment with a sponge or towel.
Scrape the ice carefully from the inner of the appliance and put it into your
kitchen sink for defrosting.
Thoroughly clean the inside of the appliance compartment, rinse with warm
water and remove any spilt food or liquids.
Wipe the appliance with an absorbent cloth or sponge, thoroughly dry and
allow to air for about 3 to 4 minutes.
Replace the drain-plug (if available)

TROUBLESHOOTING
Close the appliance door, replace the plug in the socket and turn the
appliance on.
Now put back the frozen food.
To prevent frozen food from defrosting, carry out the defrosting procedure
within a maximum of two hours, this is to reduce significant rise in
temperature of the frozen food which will shorten the storage life.
1.No operation (appliance not running/getting cold)
•Is there a power cut/failure?
•Is the plug in good condition and properly plugged into the socket?
•Check the fuse
2.Appliance not working sufficiently
•Is the door of the appliance closed properly? (If left open ice will form in
the cabinet)
•Is there heavy ice formation on the inner walls?
•Is the appliance exposed to direct sunlight or heat source?
•The climate class can be found on the rating label in the back of the
appliance. It specifies the ambient temperatures as which the appliance
will operate correctly.

3.The appliance makes noise
This noise is produced when the motor in the compressor operates and also
by refrigerant flowing in the cooling system circuit. These noises are normal.
4.Condensation build up on external walls
Under certain atmospheric conditions, condensation can form on external
walls of the appliance, this is normal and will not affect the function of the
appliance.

RECYCLING OF PRODUCT (WEEE)
Precautions:
If the appliance is to be discard/recycled, you must remove the door. This will
reduce the possibility of danger to children. The flammable foaming needs to be
disposed of by professional company, person or your local council.
We decline liability for any damage or accident derived from any use of this
product which is not in conformity with the instructions contained in this booklet.
Disposal of the appliance
•To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from
uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable
reuse of material resources.
•The disposal should only be done through public collection points. Old
refrigerators can contain CFC that destroy the ozone; contact the waste
treatment center nearest your home for more details on the correct procedures
for disposal.
CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT
This appliance is marked according to the European
directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE).
By ensuring this product is disposed correctly, you will help
prevent potential negative consequences for the
environment and human health, which could otherwise be

correctly, losses can result from deterioration following
breakdownor accidental failure of the
appliance, fuses, plugs or public
electricity supply, these can be covered by your standard

insurance or might require extra cover. Check with your insurance
