TEC112-P
12” Passive Loudspeaker Quick Start Guide
TEC112-P is installation loudspeaker solution for the entertainment market that
features premium materials and components with a solid construction and
superior sonic delivery.
Despite the TEC112-P compact format enclosure, the relatively large internal
volume and port area provide this loudspeaker with an extended frequency
response from below 50 Hz to sizzling HF tone thanks to the PM4 compression
driver membrane.
The sound characteristics of the TEC112-P are tailored to benet both vocal
live performances with a natural response for KTV and small stages, strong
full range BGM/FGM reproduction in lounges and clubs, and high impact
clear reproduction of AV material in screening rooms and high-end home
cinemas. A high directivity aluminium horn with asymmetrical coverage (90º
horizontal, 40º vertical) achieves a useful focus of the energy on the audience
and performers and away from low oors and ceilings, minimizing unwanted
interactions with the room acoustics in the HF.
The new design light weight 2.5 voice coil 12” woofer balances perfectly
detailed midrange performance in the crossover region and long excursion and
high-power management for deep and present LF reproduction.
The enclosure design of the TEC112-P is discreet yet high quality nish, to
match such wide variety of applications and environments and it allows to be
installed both vertically and horizontally by rotating the 90˚ x 40˚ horn and
using any of the different installation options, vertical U-bracket, horizontal
U-bracket, rear wall mount and even pole mount.
This makes the TEC112-P and excellent investment for the AV project
integrators and Entertainment venue owners that seek high quality
professional sound, contained cost and maximum versatility.
INSTALLATION ACCESSORIES
TEC112-P is tted with 9 threaded M8 inserts for vertical/horizontal hung
permanent installations as well as bottom 36 mm pole-mount socket that
serves for both pole mount congurations onto a BASSO Series subwoofer
and for wall-mount installations with the dedicated optional accessory.
Dedicated U-Bracket accessories are also available for horizontal and vertical
wall-mount installations.
