A person who has not read and understood all operating and safety instructions
is not qualied to operate this appliance. All users of this appliance must read and
understand this Instruction Manual before operating or cleaning this appliance.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including:
1. Read all instructions before operating this appliance.
2. DO NOT TOUCH the hot surfaces.
3. This appliance is NOT A TOY.
4. Unsupervised young children and cognitively challenged
individuals should never operate this appliance.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
6. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plug
or any part of this unit in water or other liquids.
7. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before removing parts and before cleaning.
Allow to cool before putting on or taking o any parts, and before cleaning.
8. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance
malfunctions, or if the appliance has been damaged in any manner. Return the
appliance to the nearest repair shop for examination, repair or adjustment.

Operating Safety Precautions
1. DO NOT touch the Evaporator while the unit is in use or during
the ice making process. This could cause severe burns.
2. DO NOT clean unit with ammable liquids. The fumes can create a re hazard or explosion.
3. Check ice maker for presence of foreign objects prior to use.
4. DO NOT turn unit upside down while in use, or when lled with ice.
Instructions for the Electrical Cord and Plug
1. ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD: Failure to follow these instructions
can result in death, re, or electrical shock.

• Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
• DO NOT remove ground prong.
• DO NOT use an adapter.
• DO NOT use an extension cord.
2. This unit MUST be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding
reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current.
This unit is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug.
The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
3. WARNING: Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric
shock. If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, contact a qualied
electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
4. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting
from becoming entangled or tripping over a long cord.
5. The manufacturer does not recommend using this machine in countries that do not
support 120V AC even if a voltage adapter, transformer, or converter is in use.
6. If the power cord is damaged, please call our customer service department.
REFRIGERANT GAS WARNING
1. Use the ice maker with caution especially when moving the ice maker to
avoid damaging the refrigerant tubing or increasing the risk of leak.
2. Servicing should only be done by factory or authorized service personnel.
3. Do not install ice maker in corridors or hallways of public buildings.

CONTROLS AND INDICATOR LIGHTS
• Standby Mode: Red rings around power and "ICE OUT" buttons indicates Standby
Mode. When you rst plug in your ice maker, it will be in Standby Mode.
• "ON/OFF" Button: Press the "ON/OFF" Button once to turn on your ice maker.
Once you turn your ice maker on, the rings around the "ON/OFF" Button
will be blue and "ICE OUT" button will be red. To put your ice maker back
into Standby Mode, hold down the "ON/OFF" Button for 3 seconds.
• "ICE OUT" button: Press the "ICE OUT" button and hold to dispense ice.
• Ice Full: An infrared sensor in the ice basket helps detect when it is full of ice. When
the "ice full" indicator light is on, it means that ice has lled the ice basket. To restart
production, empty ice from the basket, and the machine will restart automatically.
• Add Water: When the "Add Water" indicator lights on, the machine will
stop making ice. Remove the water tank, add more water, replace the water
tank, and press the "ON/OFF" Button once to restart ice production.
• Auto Clean Mode: When the ring around the "ON/OFF" Button is purple and
the ring around the "ICE OUT" button is red, the machine is in Auto Clean
Mode. See below for instruction on how to use auto clean mode.
HOW TO OPERATE
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove all interior and exterior packaging. If any part or accessory
is missing, please call our customer service department.
2. Follow the steps under CLEANING & MAINTENANCE before using this unit.
3. Place the unit on a at, level surface in a location that is protected from
direct sunlight and other sources of heat (i.e. stove, furnace, radiator). Ensure
there is at least six inches of empty space on all sides of the unit.
4. Allow one hour for the refrigerant uid to settle before plugging
the cord into an electrical outlet for the rst time.

USING YOUR NUGGET ICE MAKER
1. Make sure that the rear drain is rmly plugged before beginning operation.
2. Pull out water tank to ll with water. Then put water tank back into the machine.
CAUTION: Do not surpass the maximum water level on the MIN/MAX markings.
NOTE: Distilled water is best to ll the water tank.
3. After plugging in the ice maker machine, press the "ON/OFF" Button and it will turn on.
4. Ice machine will begin making ice nuggets. Check water level periodically.
NOTE: If water tank is near empty, the ice maker will stop automatically
and the "ADD WATER" indicator light will turn on. Press the "ON/OFF" Button, ll up to
the water level mark, and press the "ON/OFF" Button again.
NOTE: Nugget ice size will be relatively small for rst use. This is a normal part of operation.
5. The ice maker will stop automatically once the machine is
full and the "ICE FULL" indicator will turn on.
6. To ICE OUT from the machine, hold your container (cup, water bottle,
etc.) below the ice dispenser and press the "ICE OUT" button.
NOTE: Do not leave water in water tank for more than 24 hours
to ensure that clean water is used to make ice.
NOTE: Noises such as clicking, gurgling, or knocking are normal when operating.
IMPORTANT NOTE:In the event that the power is disconnected during the ice making cycle
or that the LED lights on the Control Panel are blinking, press the "ON/OFF" Button to stop
the ice making cycle. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. Allow the unit to sit for a
few minutes. Empty the Water Tray and wait three minutes before restarting the unit.
HELPFUL TIPS
ADD WATER INDICATOR
If the "ADD WATER" Indicator turns on, try the following:
• Turn o the unit, add water, and press the "ON/OFF" Button again to restart the unit.
• There may be too much ice. Turn o the ice maker, remove some ice from the ice basket.
• Check and clean the water inlet with a straw brush
ICE FULL INDICATOR
If the "ICE FULL" Indicator comes on, try the following:
• Remove all the ice from the basket and press the "ON/OFF" Button to restart the unit.
• Remove any ice that may be blocking the ice chute with a small spoon.
NUGGET ICE STICK TOGETHER
• The ice cycle may be too long. Stop the ice maker, then restart it when the ice cubes melt.
• The water temperature in the water tank may be too low. Change the water in
the water tank. The room temperature should be set between 45˚ F - 90˚ F.
• Press the "ICE OUT" button for 3 seconds, then release. After releasing the "ICE OUT" button, the
auger will reverse its spin for about 1 second, which may help break up nugget ice clusters.
• Gently tap nugget ice with a fork or spoon to break up clusters.
ICE IS FULL BUT INDICATOR LIGHT IS NOT ON
• Move the ice maker in a darker location so the infrared
detection inside the ice maker can work properly.

ICE MAKER NOT WORKING
If the ice-making cycle seems to be running properly, but no ice is being made, try the following:
• The water temperature in water tank may be too high. Try pouring
colder water (between 45˚ F - 80˚ F) into the water tank.
• Make sure you are using the ice maker in a room with an ambient
temperature between 68˚F to 74˚F or lower
• If changing the water or allowing the unit to cool does not work, there may
be a leakage of the refrigerant uid, or a pipe in the cooling system may be
blocked. Please take your ice maker to a qualied technician for repair.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Your DISPENSING NUGGET ICE MAKER should be cleaned before rst time use and before
storing. Following these steps will help to maintain the unit and add to longevity.
1. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
2. Dispense all ice from the machine.
3. Remove water tank drip tray.
4. Drain water by turning the drain cap on the button of the unit.
5. Clean the interior and exterior with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
6. Clean the water inlet with a straw brush
7. Dry the interior and exterior with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
8. Close the drain cap.
9. If the unit has not been in use for a long time, always open the Water Drain
Plug and completely drain the water from the Water Reservoir.
AUTO CLEAN
1. Add a solution of about half water and half white vinegar or
lemon juice to the water tank up to the max ll line.
2. Plug the ice maker into the wall outlet.
3. Make sure the ice maker is in standby mode, then press then hold button the "ON/OFF"
Button for 3 seconds. The ring around the power button will turn purple, indicating
that the ice maker is in auto cleaning mode. This will take approximately 8 minutes.
4. Unplug the drain in the back of the ice maker to drain all liquids.
5. Fill the water tank with water up to max ll line.
6. Repeat steps 1-4.

Nostalgia Products LLC (the “Company”) hereby warrants that for a period of one (1) year from the
date of original purchase, this product will be free of defects in material and workmanship under
normal home use, provided that the product is operated and maintained in accordance with the
operating instructions. As the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty, the Company will
at its discretion either repair or replace the product found to be defective, or issue a refund on the
product during the warranty period. This warranty is only available to the original retail purchaser of
the product from the date of initial retail purchase, and is only valid with the original sales receipt, as
proof of purchase date is required to obtain warranty benets. All warranty claims must be brought
to the attention of the Company within the warranty period and no later than 30 days of the failure
to perform. This warranty does not cover normal wear or damage caused by shipping, mishandling,
misuse, accident, alteration, improper replacement parts, or other than ordinary household use.
You may be required to return the product (with shipping prepaid by you) for inspection and
evaluation. Return shipping costs are not refundable. The Company is not responsible for returns
damaged or lost in transit. Unless otherwise specically permitted by the operating instructions, this
warranty applies to indoor household use only. In order to obtain service under this warranty, please

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of
merchantability and tness for a particular purpose, which are hereby excluded to the extent

or special damages arising out of or in connection with this product or the use thereof. Some
states, provinces or jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the foregoing exclusion or limitation may not apply to you.

Instrucciones para el cable eléctrico y el enchufe

CONTROLES Y LUCES INDICADORAS
• Modo En espera: Los anillos rojos alrededor de los botones de
encendido y "ICE OUT" indican Modo En espera. Cuando conecte
inicialmente su máquina de hielo, ella estará en Modo En espera.
• Botón de "ON/OFF": Pulse una vez el Botón de "ON/OFF" para encender su
máquina de hacer hielo. Cuando encienda su máquina de hacer hielo, los
anillos alrededor del Botón de "ON/OFF" se pondrán azules y el botón "ICE
OUT" estará rojo. Para poner la máquina de hielo nuevamente en Modo En
espera, mantenga presionado el botón de "ON/OFF" por 3 segundos.
• Botón "ICE OUT": Presione el botón "ICE OUT" y manténgalo así para dispensar hielo.
• Lleno de hielo: Un sensor infrarrojo en la cesta de hielo ayuda a detectar cuando
esta se llene de hielo. Cuando la luz indicadora "lleno de hielo" esté encendida,
signica que el hielo ha llenado la cesta de hielo. Para reiniciar la producción,
vacíe el hielo de la cesta, y la máquina reiniciará automáticamente.
• Agregar agua: Cuando la luz indicadora "Agregar agua" esté encendida, la máquina
dejará de hacer hielo. Retire el tanque de agua, agregue más agua, vuelva a colocar el
tanque, y pulse una vez el botón de "ON/OFF" para reiniciar la producción de hielo.
• Modo de autolimpieza: Cuando el anillo alrededor del botón de "ON/OFF" está
púrpura y el anillo alrededor del botón "ICE OUT" está rojo, la máquina está en Modo de
autolimpieza. Vea debajo las instrucciones sobre cómo usar el modo de autolimpieza.
CÓMO FUNCIONA
ANTES DEL PRIMER USO
1. Retire todo el empaque exterior e interior. Si falta cualquier pieza o
accesorio, llame a nuestro departamento de servicios al cliente.
2. Siga los pasos en LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO antes de usar esta unidad.
3. Coloque la unidad en una supercie plana a nivel en un lugar protegido de la luz solar
directa y de otras fuentes de calor (es decir, una estufa, un horno, un radiador). Asegúrese
de que hay al menos seis pulgadas de espacio vacío en todos los lados de la unidad.
4. Deje pasar una hora para que el uido refrigerante se asiente antes
de conectar el cordón en un tomacorriente por primera vez.

USO DE LA MÁQUINA DE BOLITAS DE HIELO
1. Asegúrese de que el drenaje posterior está bien taponado antes de poner en funcionamiento.
2. Saque el tanque de agua para llenarlo con agua. Después vuelva a poner el tanque
de agua en la máquina. PRECAUCIÓN: No sobrepase en nivel máximo de agua en las
marcas MÍN/MÁX. NOTA: Es mejor llenar el tanque de agua con agua destilada.After

3. Después de conectar la máquina de hielo, pulse el botón de "ON/OFF" y se encenderá.

5. La máquina de hielo se detendrá automáticamente cuando se
llene y se encenderá el indicador "LLENO DE HIELO".
6. Para ICE OUT de la máquina, sostenga el envase (vaso, botella de agua, etc.) debajo del
dispensador de hielo y presione el botón "ICE OUT". NOTA: No deje agua en el tanque de
agua por más de 24 horas para asegurar que usa agua limpia para hacer el hielo. NOTA: Los
ruidos de chasquidos, burbujeo o golpeteos son normales durante el funcionamiento.
NOTA IMPORTANTE: En caso de que se desconecte la alimentación durante el ciclo de hacer hielo
o de que las luces LED en el Panel de control estén destellando, pulse el Botón de "ON/OFF" para
detener el ciclo de hacer hielo. Desconecte la unidad del tomacorriente. Deje reposar la unidad
por unos minutos. Vacíe la bandeja de agua y espere tres minutos antes de reiniciar la unidad.
CONSEJOS ÚTILES
INDICADOR DE AGREGAR AGUA
Si el indicador "AGREGAR AGUA" se enciende, intente lo siguiente:
• Apague la unidad, agregue agua y pulse el Botón de "ON/
OFF" nuevamente para reiniciar la unidad.
• Puede que haya mucho hielo. Apague la máquina de hielo, retire algo de hielo de la cesta de hielo.
• Compruebe y limpie la entrada de agua con un cepillo de cerdas
INDICADOR LLENO DE HIELO
Si el indicador "LLENO DE HIELO" se enciende, intente lo siguiente:
• Retire todo el hielo de la cesta y pulse el Botón de "ON/OFF" para reiniciar la unidad.
• Con una cucharilla, retire el hielo que pudiera estar bloqueando el canal del hielo.
LAS BOLITAS DE HIELO SE PEGAN ENTRE SÍ
El ciclo de hielo puede ser demasiado largo. Detenga la máquina de
hielo y reiníciela cuando se derritan los cubitos de hielo.
• La temperatura del agua en el tanque de agua pudiera ser demasiado baja. Cambie el
agua en el tanque de agua. La temperatura ambiente debe estar entre 7 °C - 32 °C.
• Presione el botón "ICE OUT" por 3 segundos y después libérelo. Tras liberar
el botón "ICE OUT", el transportador invertirá su rotación durante 1 segundo,
eso pudiera ayudar a separar los grupos de bolitas de hielo.

• Golpee suavemente las bolitas de hielo con un tenedor o cuchara para separar los grupos.

• Mueva la máquina de hielo a un lugar más oscuro para que la detección
de infrarrojos en su interior pueda funcionar correctamente
LA MÁQUINA DE HIELO NO FUNCIONA
Si parece que el ciclo de hacer hielo funciona correctamente,
pero no se hace hielo, pruebe lo siguiente:
• La temperatura del agua en el tanque de agua pudiera ser demasiado alta.
Pruebe verter agua más fría (entre 7 °C - 27 °C) en el tanque de agua.
• Asegúrese de estar usando la máquina de hielo en una habitación
con una temperatura ambiente entre 20 °C y 23 °C o inferior.
• Si cambiar el agua o dejar que se enfríe la unidad no funciona, es posible que haya
una fuga de uido refrigerante o un tubo en el sistema de enfriamiento puede estar
bloqueado. Por favor, lleve su máquina de hielo a un técnico calicado para reparación.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Su MÁQUINA DE BOLITAS DE HIELO CON DISPENSADOR se debe limpiar antes del primer uso
y antes de guardarla. Seguir estos pasos ayudará a mantener la unidad por un largo período.
1. Desconecte la unidad del tomacorriente.
2. Dispense todo el hielo de la máquina.
3. Retire la bandeja de goteo del tanque de agua.
4. Drene el agua girando la tapa de drenaje en la parte inferior de la unidad.
5. Limpie el interior y el exterior con agua tibia y un paño suave.
6. Limpie la entrada de agua con un cepillo de cerdas.
7. Seque el interior y el exterior con un paño suave no abrasivo.
8. Cierre la tapa de drenaje.
9. Si la unidad no se ha usado durante un largo tiempo, siempre abra el tapón de
drenaje de agua y drene completamente el agua del depósito de agua.
AUTOLIMPIEZA
1. Añada una solución de aproximadamente mitad agua y mitad vinagre blanco
o jugo de limón al tanque de agua hasta la línea de máximo llenado.
2. Conecte la máquina de hielo al tomacorriente de pared.
3. Asegúrese de que la máquina de hielo está en modo En espera, después presione y
mantenga presionado el botón de "ON/OFF" por 3 segundos. El anillo alrededor del
botón de encendido se iluminará en púrpura, con lo que indicará que la máquina de
