Charging The Speaker
The speaker should be fully charged before use. A fully charged battery should last
for approximately 5 hours of continuous use at 50% volume. Play time will decrease
at louder volumes and increase at lower volumes.
POWER & CHARGING
It is not recommended to leave the speaker unattended while charging.

Press and hold to power the speaker ON or OFF.
Press to switch between Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Aux modes.
»Connect Wi-Fi/ Pair Bluetooth/Play/Pause
In Wi-Fi Mode (white LED), press and hold to begin searching for Wi-
Fi networks. In Bluetooth Mode (blue LED), press and hold to begin
pairing to a Bluetooth device.
Short press to pause or play audio.
»Alexa ON
Press to activate Amazon Alexa and say a command. You can also
just say, “Alexa...”, within range of the speaker’s microphones.
»Alexa Mute
Press to mute the microphones and disable Amazon Alexa.
»Volume
Press to adjust volume.

Free App Download
The iLive Wi-Fi Control app lets you play music and audio from streaming services
like Spotify, iHeartRadio and others. It also controls the speaker’s other functions,
such as multi-room play, multi-channel play, etc. Download the app to your device
by scanning the QR codes below or search for the iLive Wi-Fi Control app in the
Apple App Store™ or Google Play Store™.
Note that this app is designed for mobile devices only, such as smartphones or Wi-Fi
enabled tablets. It is not available for use on regular desktop or laptop computers.
Initial Wi-Fi Setup
To use the speaker’s Wi-Fi features, the speaker and your phone or tablet must
be connected to a Wi-Fi network. The app will guide you through the process, just
follow the on-screen instructions and have your network password ready. The steps
listed below and following visual guides are provided for your reference.
If you have a dual band wireless router, be sure to connect using the
2.4GHz band.
»Press and hold the Power button to power on the speaker. The speaker should
start in Wi-Fi mode, indicated by a ashing white LED. If it is not in Wi-Fi mode,
press the Mode button until Wi-Fi is selected. The LED may ash multiple
colors after rst powering on. This is normal, please wait for the LED to switch to
ashing white, indicating the speaker is standing by in Wi-Fi Mode.
»Press and hold the Pair (WPS) button on the speaker.
»On your phone, launch the iLive Wi-Fi app and press “Add Device”. Follow the
on-screen prompts to connect the speaker to your Wi-Fi network.
»When the speaker and your phone are successfully connected, a voice prompt
will announce the connection and the white LED will turn solid.
»With the Wi-Fi connection complete, the app will automatically begin the process
to connect to Amazon Alexa. Follow the on-screen prompts to link Alexa with
the speaker and begin using Amazon Alexa Voice Services. You will need to
enter your Amazon account information to use Alexa. The Amazon Alexa app
can enhance the abilities of Alexa with your speaker, such as the ability to control
various smart home products. The Amazon Alexa app can be found in the
Google Play Store™ and Apple App Store™.

Initial Wi-Fi Setup - Visual Guide

Alternative Wi-Fi Setup
If the app fails to connect to the speaker or your Wi-Fi network (time/percentage
runs out), the app will automatically detect the malfunction and guide you through
the Alternative setup. The app will direct you to your phone’s Wi-Fi Settings Menu to
rst connect to the speaker, then return to the app to nish connecting the speaker
to your Wi-Fi network.
If you are still experiencing issues, consult the Troubleshooting section at the back of
this manual (pg. 19).

Alternate Setup - Visual Guide
At the start of the Alternative setup,
this screen will appear. Exit the app
and go to your phone’s Wi-Fi Settings.
You will need to reconnect to your
network, select your Wi-Fi network and
enter your password when prompted.
Select the speaker and connect
to it. After connecting, exit and
return to the iLive Wi-Fi app.
When Wi-Fi network connection is
complete, the app will display the
speaker in the device list. You may
now begin using your speaker.

Adding Speakers/Devices
The procedure for adding more speakers is almost the same as the initial Wi-Fi setup
for the rst speaker. From the Device screen, press the button and follow the on-
screen prompts to connect a new iLive Wi-Fi speaker to your Wi-Fi network. When
successfully completed, the new speaker should appear in the Device List, and be
ready to use.
Multi-Room Play
Place speakers in any room and use the app to play music from the speaker of your
choice. You can play different songs from different speakers, set individual volume
levels, or you can link all of the speakers to play the same song.
Multi-Mode
»In the Device List, press and hold a device icon for two seconds, then drag
towards another device to link the speakers together.
Solo-Mode
»Press and hold the device icon, then drag downwards past the dotted line.
Multi-Channel Play With Multiple Speakers
You can use two or more speakers in one room for a surround sound effect by
setting the Audio Channel selector to “LR” (stereo) for all of the speakers.
You can also use two speakers at once for stereo play by setting the Audio
Channel selector to “L” and “R” for the “left” and “right” speaker respectively.
See #3 on the previous page.

Internet Music Services
TheiLive Wi-Fi app supports and can play songs from Spotify, iHeartRadio, and Tidal.
When you open any of these third-party services, you will be prompted to log in and
link your account with the iLive Wi-Fi app so that it can access any songs or stations
you may already have saved with that service.
If you do not have an account with one of these services, theiLive Wi-Fi app can
guide you through the set up process; however, you may need to download and
install one of the internet music services rst (ex. Spotify app), before it can play.
Follow the on-screen prompts to add services and set up an account.

OTHER WAYS TO PLAY
Bluetooth Wireless
The speaker can also connect to devices via Bluetooth. Follow the steps below to
pair to a Bluetooth enabled device.
»Power on the speaker and press the Mode button to select Bluetooth Mode.
»Press and hold the Pair button to begin pairing. The LED indicator will begin
blinking blue as it searches for a device.
»Be sure your phone’s Bluetooth is enabled. Your phone should automatically
detect the speaker, open your Bluetooth settings, and select ISWFV387.
»When connected, the indicator on the speaker will turn solid blue, and a voice
prompt will sound from the speaker. The speaker is now connected. Use the
controls on your phone to select and begin playing audio.
Note : Please wait for the LED to switch to ashing white, indicating the speaker is
standing by in Wi-Fi mode then press the mode button to change to another mode.
Aux In
Requires a 3.5mm audio cable (included).
»Power on the speaker and press the Mode button to select Aux In Mode,
indicated by a solid green LED light. .
»Connect a 3.5mm audio cable to the Aux In on the unit and the audio
output/headphone jack on an audio device.
»Audio played through the connected device will now be heard through the
speakers. Use the controls on the connected device to play, pause, or skip
selected tracks.

TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Cannot complete
Wi-Fi network set up
»Make sure the speaker has power and is charged.
»Make sure you are connecting to the correct
Wi-Fi network.
»If using a dual band wireless router, be sure to
use the 2.4GHz band.
»Be sure to enable Wi-Fi on your mobile device.
»Test your internet connection by loading/reloading
a web page. If you cannot load the page, you
may need to restart your router.
»Use the alternate connection method (pg. 11).
»Uninstall then reinstall the app, power the speaker
OFF, then ON, and restart setup.
Intermittent audio/audio
doesn’t play
»Make sure the volume on the speaker or your
connected device is not too low.
»Interference may be interrupting the Wi-Fi signal
(possible sources could be microwaves, cell
phone signals, etc.). Move the system to another
location to test.
»Stop other applications that may be streaming
media from the internet.
»The speaker may have a weak Wi-Fi connection.
Move the speaker closer to your router.
Bluetooth fails to connect »Make sure the speaker has power and is charged.
»Make sure both the speaker and your device are
in Bluetooth mode.
»Stay within 33 ft. of the speaker when pairing.
Aux In won’t play »Make sure the audio cable is rmly connected to
the audio ports of both devices.
»Make sure the volume on the speaker or your
connected device is not too low.
»Press the Mode button to manually switch to Aux
In mode.
White noise »Power the speaker OFF, then ON again.
Speaker still will not
function properly
»Hold down the Alexa Mute button for 10
seconds to restore factory settings.
