Guide
The Ilumipod 42 IP Series Quick Reference Guide (QRG) only contains the
product’s connection and mounting information as well as the menu options
and the DMX values.

Safety Notes
•DO NOT open this fixture unless instructed. It contains no user
serviceable parts.
•DO NOT look at the light source when this fixture is on.
•DO NOT touch the fixture when it is operating because it may be hot.
•DO NOT leave any flammable material within 50 cm from this fixture
while operating or connected to the power outlet to minimize the risk of
fire.
•DO NOT mount this fixture overhead without using a safety cable.
•DO NOT submerge this product (IP66). Regular outdoor operation is
fine.
•DO NOT operate this fixture if you see damage on the housing, lenses,
or cables; have the damaged parts replaced by an authorized technician
at once.
•DO NOT connect this fixture to a dimmer or rheostat.

AC Power
This product has an auto-ranging power supply that can work with an input
voltage range of 100~240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
Power Linking
This product does not support power linking.
AC Plug
The IP66 power input cable in this product comes bare ended. Use the table
below to wire a plug for this product or see the connection diagram.

Power Wiring
You can connect the bare-ended IP67 rated AC power cable from the fixture
to an IP66 rated power connector (Power Input and Power Output).
Alternatively, you may use IP66 rated junction boxes for surface
installations, or IP67 rated junction boxes for buried installations.
If using connection boxes, make sure to use IP66 rated conduit for surface
installations or IP67 rated conduit for buried installations. You could also
use direct buried cable (DBC) to link the junction boxes.

DMX
Connection
You can connect the bare-ended IP67 rated signal cable from the fixture to
two IP66 rated signal connectors (DMX Input and DMX Output).
Alternatively, you may use an IP66 rated junction box for a surface
installation, or an IP67 rated junction box for a buried installation. If using
boxes make sure to use IP66 rated conduit (surface), IP67 rated conduit
(buried), or direct buried cable (DBC).

Control Notes
•The VW fixtures come with power control to boost the overall light
intensity.
•If left in HIGH power mode for too long, the fixture might return to the
NORMAL power mode as its internal temperature reaches the
maximum allowed value.
Upload Notes
During the upload process, the fixture indicates with colors the progress of
the procedure. The table below shows the color codes for each type of
Ilumipod 42 IP Optic fixture.
