1.- INTRODUCCIÓN
Este manual debe ser considerado como parte integral de la maquina (EN 292/2) y debe de
conservarse hasta su último uso.
¡¡Atención!! Esta anotación se usará cada vez que se presente un peligro para el
operario.
¡¡Atención!! Lea atentamente este manual.
Este manual tiene por propósito ayudar al operario en su correcta puesta en funcionamiento y
explicar las normas de seguridad de la Comunidad Europea para eliminar eventuales riesgos por
un uso erróneo.
Esta máquina debe ser utilizada solo para realizar las funciones para las que ha sido proyectada.
Cualquier otro uso se considerará inapropiado, y por lo tanto peligroso.
En consecuencia, IMCOINSA no se hace responsable de los posibles daños a personas u objetos
producidos por un uso erróneo o inapropiado de la máquina.
Además de estas normas, por favor, tenga en cuenta las distintas normativas de aplicación
vigentes en aquellos lugares donde se utilice la máquina.
IMCOINSA se reserva el derecho de realizar modificaciones o mejoras en la máquina.
Ante cualquier consulta o incidencia, diríjase al Distribuidor donde adquirió el producto o al
Servicio Técnico IMCOINSA más cercano.
2.- PRECAUCIONES GENERALES
Lea atentamente este libro de instrucciones para conocer mejor los sistemas de seguridad y
el potencial de la máquina.
¡¡Atención!! Aleje a los niños de la zona de utilización de la máquina. Coloque la
máquina en un lugar seguro después de terminar el trabajo.
Las Reglas Vibrantes marca IMCOINSA han sido diseñadas para trabajar con la máxima
seguridad siempre y cuando se utilicen siguiendo las instrucciones de uso. Lea atentamente el
contenido de este manual antes de poner en funcionamiento la máquina. Un uso inadecuado
podría causar daños a las personas y al equipo.
No intente reparar la máquina o intente acceder a las partes internas. Contacte siempre con un
establecimiento autorizado IMCOINSA.
El empresario debe de confiar el uso de la máquina sólo a personas mayores de edad en
perfectas condiciones físicas y mentales. Además debe asegurarse de que dichas personas
estén instruidas en la operación para la cual la máquina ha sido diseñada y que lleven a cabo la
operación de manera fiable.
Compruebe periódicamente que la máquina no tenga ningún daño. Debe comprobar
detenidamente que los dispositivos de seguridad funcionen correctamente y que la máquina no
presente piezas dañadas.

Las Reglas Vibrantes se deben de poner en marcha sólo si se respetan todas las normas de uso
y las instrucciones de seguridad.
Las personas encargadas de trabajar con estas máquinas deben conocer todas las medidas de
seguridad de la misma.
La máquina debe ser utilizada en un lugar con una luz apropiada.
3.- PRESENTACIÓN DE LA MÁQUINA
Las Reglas Vibrantes IMCOINSA, en sus versiones de motor eléctrico y gasolina en ambas gamas
se utilizan para el acabado superficial de suelos de hormigón.
Gracias a su reducido peso, son aptas para que una sola persona pueda trabajar con ellas,
además, están diseñadas de manera que la base pueda avanzar o retroceder fácilmente,
consiguiéndose una superficie plana, lisa y vibrada.
Las reglas IMCOINSA tienen el motor y cuerpo vibrante sobre la base, garantizando una
composición equilibrada que reduce las transmisiones al operario y maximiza la potencia de
trabajo.
3.1.- Reglas Vibrantes con mango simple
Los diferentes modelos disponen, junto con la empuñadura adicional en el cuerpo motor, de un
sencillo y rápido sistema para el montaje y desmontaje del mango, favoreciendo las labores de
transporte.
La base fabricada en aluminio extrusionado de alta resistencia está diseñada con perfil curvo
para favorecer el extendido del hormigón.
3.2.- Reglas Vibrantes con mango doble y base en “L”
Estas reglas conforman un conjunto ligero y de fácil manejo. El perfil en “L” de aluminio
extrusionado permite el extendido del hormigón. Disponible con motorizaciones en gasolina y
eléctricas. Las versiones con motorización en gasolina incorporan de serie mando acelerador en
la empuñadura.
Además, la empuñadura es paralela al sentido de avance, lo que permite una posición de
trabajo más ergonómica para el operario.

Todos los datos necesarios para identificar la máquina se pueden encontrar en la placa
plateada situada en una zona visible de la máquina.
5.- INSTRUCCIONES OPERATIVAS DE SEGURIDAD
¡¡Atención!! Para evitar daños personales y/o materiales, antes de utilizar la
herramienta, lea atentamente y asegúrese de haber entendido las siguientes instrucciones
operativas de seguridad.
El lugar de trabajo debe estar perfectamente en orden, sin riesgos presentes y bien iluminado.
Aleje a las personas ajenas al trabajo antes de empezar a trabajar.
Durante la operación es necesario ponerse gafas de protección, guantes de piel, ropa ajustada,
casco y botas para protegerse. Se recomienda calzado antideslizante cuando se trabaje en
exteriores.
No se incline demasiado cuando esté trabajando. Evite posturas inusuales. Asegúrese de que se
encuentra de pie y mantenga el equilibrio en todo momento.
Conserve su Regla Vibrante en un lugar seguro. Las herramientas que no se estén utilizando
deberían conservarse en un lugar seco y cerrado con llave, fuera del alcance de los niños.

No sobrecargue su Regla Vibrante, ya que trabajará mejor y de una forma más segura en el
margen de funcionamiento y dentro de valores nominales especificados.
Esté atento en todo momento. Tenga la vista puesta en el trabajo y no utilice la Regla Vibrante
si no puede concentrarse completamente.
Compruebe que su Regla Vibrante no tenga ningún daño. Debe comprobar, detenidamente, los
dispositivos de seguridad o que posibles piezas dañadas funcionen perfectamente antes de
utilizar la herramienta. Compruebe que las piezas móviles funcionan correctamente, que no
estén atascadas y que no haya ninguna rota. Además debe comprobar que el resto de piezas
funcionan correctamente y están colocadas adecuadamente.
Los dispositivos de seguridad, así como las piezas y dispositivos de protección dañados deben
repararse de la forma apropiada por el Servicio Técnico IMCOINSA más cercano.
Aunque las Reglas Vibrantes IMCOINSA, están dotadas de dispositivos anti-vibración para
salvaguardar la integridad de las extremidades superiores, debe evitar los efectos nocivos de las
vibraciones en el operario, procurando reducir el tiempo total de exposición a las mismas.
¡¡Atención!! La máquina no deberá ser manipulada cuando se encuentre en
funcionamiento. Ante cualquier problema que se detecte en la máquina durante su
funcionamiento, detenga el motor y desconéctela de la red eléctrica (si corresponde) antes de
realizar cualquier revisión.
5.1.- Para Reglas Vibrantes con Motor Eléctrico
¡¡Atención!! Las siguientes precauciones fundamentales de seguridad deben
observarse siempre que se estén utilizando herramientas eléctricas como protección contra
una descarga eléctrica, riesgo de heridas y peligro de incendio.
¡¡Atención!! Lea y tome nota de estas precauciones antes de utilizar la herramienta.
Tenga en cuenta la influencia del entorno. No exponga sus herramientas eléctricas a la lluvia.
No sumerja la regla en agua ni le chorree agua directamente al motor. Asegúrese de que la
zona de trabajo esté bien iluminada. No utilice las herramientas eléctricas cerca de gases o
líquidos inflamables.
Protéjase siempre contra una posible descarga eléctrica, nunca toque las piezas de toma a
tierra, por ejemplo tuberías, radiadores, cocinas, hornos, neveras.
No utilice el cable de corriente para ninguna otra función que para la que ha sido diseñado. No
acarree la herramienta eléctrica sujetándola por el cable de suministro eléctrico y no saque la
conexión del enchufe tirando de dicho cable. Proteja el cable del calor, aceite y los bordes
afilados.
Evite cualquier encendido no intencionado. Asegúrese siempre de que el interruptor de la
máquina está en la posición de apagado cuando se enchufe la herramienta eléctrica al
suministro eléctrico principal. No utilice la máquina si el interruptor no enciende y apaga
correctamente.
Realice inspecciones periódicas del cable eléctrico y compruebe que no esté dañado, en caso de
estarlo, cámbielo.

Desconecte siempre la herramienta del enchufe de red, si no está utilizando la herramienta
eléctrica o va a realizar los trabajos de mantenimiento y limpieza.
5.2.- Para Reglas Vibrantes con Motor de Gasolina
¡¡Atención!! Si se trabaja en sitios cerrados, garajes, obras, etc. asegúrese de que
existe una ventilación adecuada para su salud, ya que los gases de escape del motor contienen
óxidos de carbono que son tóxicos, y pueden provocar pérdida de conocimiento, e incluso
llegar a ser mortales en elevadas concentraciones.
Está prohibido utilizar la máquina en sitios donde exista riesgo de explosión o cerca de
productos peligrosos.
No fumar cuando se utilice la máquina.
No toque el motor después de su funcionamiento, ya que se podrían producir quemaduras,
debido al calentamiento del mismo.
Si el depósito del motor está defectuoso cambiarlo inmediatamente, un depósito en malas
condiciones puede llegar incluso a explotar.
¡¡Atención!! Llene el depósito con el motor apagado y en una zona bien ventilada.
¡¡Atención!! No llene demasiado el depósito. No derrame el carburante por las partes
calientes del motor o en otras partes de la máquina que se puedan dañar.
¡¡Atención!! Los carburantes son extremadamente inflamables y explosivos. No fume
ni haga llamas o chispazos cerca del depósito. Los vapores del carburante pueden prender
fuego.
¡¡Atención!! Si ha derramado carburante, asegúrese de que la zona está
completamente seca antes de poner en marcha el motor.
6.- FUNCIONAMIENTO
A continuación se indica el proceso a seguir para obtener un buen acabado del pavimento:
Se aconseja nivelar las paredes del entorno donde se va a echar el hormigón, con una raya
horizontal previamente señalizada con un nivel láser y que se utilizará como línea de guía del
nivel de hormigón. A continuación, echar el hormigón y empezar a repartirlo por la superficie.
Dejar unos puntos nivelados de referencia con el láser, éstos deben ser más próximos los unos
a los otros, dependiendo de la nivelación que se desee obtener.
Una vez hechas las operaciones anteriores, ya se puede pasar la regla vibrante por el hormigón,
pero se han de hacer desaparecer las marcas de las pisadas al pasar la regla.
La profundidad de vibrado es de unos 15 cm, dependiendo siempre del tipo de hormigón que
se utilice.
Inmediatamente después de pasar la regla se apreciará que en la superficie del hormigón,
aflora la lechada, que es una mezcla de agua cemento y partículas pequeñas de arena. El agua
desaparecerá en un breve período de tiempo, quedando la superficie mate hasta el fraguado de
hormigón.

Opcionalmente se puede terminar el pavimento echando en el mismo, antes de que se
produzca el fraguado, polvos de cuarzo y a continuación se habrá de pasar una Fratasadora
IMCOINSA, con lo que se obtiene un pavimento pulido y de gran resistencia al desgaste. Con
este procedimiento, se evita que se produzca el polvo que se genera en el hormigón debido al
roce del andar o al pasar vehículos por encima de él.
7.- CONTROLES ANTES DE LA PUESTA EN MARCHA
7.1.- Para las Reglas Vibrantes de Motor Eléctrico
Compruebe que el voltaje de la red, es el mismo que se indica en la placa de características del
motor. Antes de conectarlo a la red, compruebe que el interruptor esté en posición de
apagado, y que la toma de corriente que va a utilizar dispone de toma de tierra.
Si utiliza cables de prolongación, asegúrese de que tienen la sección adecuada y de su perfecto
estado de conservación. Nunca ponga en marcha la regla si se observara algún defecto.
7.2.- Para las Reglas Vibrantes de Motor de Gasolina
Lea atentamente el manual del fabricante del motor y siga sus instrucciones antes de poner el
motor en marcha.
Trabaje siempre en zonas que estén suficientemente ventiladas.
Regule la velocidad de giro con la palanca del acelerador, hasta obtener el vibrado del
hormigón deseado.
Nunca ponga en marcha la Regla Vibrante si se observara algún defecto.
8.- MANTENIMIENTO
¡¡Atención!! Es obligatorio apagar el motor (o desconectar el enchufe en el modelo
eléctrico).
Limpie y mantenga en perfectas condiciones las herramientas.
Una vez terminado el trabajo, limpie con cuidado los residuos de cemento de la máquina y
coloque la máquina en un lugar seguro, fuera del alcance de los niños.
Controle periódicamente el ajuste de los tornillos.
Sólo el Personal Técnico Especializado debe realizar las eventuales reparaciones.
Un uso incorrecto, recambios no originales y modificaciones no autorizadas excluyen a
IMCOINSA de toda responsabilidad y garantía.
¡¡Atención!! Para que el nivel de seguridad y de funcionamiento de la máquina se
mantenga durante mucho tiempo es obligatorio que el Distribuidor donde adquirió el producto
o el Servicio Técnico IMCOINSA más cercano la controle al menos una vez al año.
Todos los días, antes de empezar a trabajar, el operario debe controlar la eficacia de los
dispositivos de control y de seguridad.

Utilice únicamente recambios originales IMCOINSA.
En caso de no utilizar recambios originales, IMCOINSA declina cualquier responsabilidad ante
cualquier parte de la máquina que pudiera provocar daños personales y/o materiales.
Para solicitar cualquier recambio es imprescindible facilitar el modelo y número de serie de la
máquina. Esta información la encontrará en la placa de IMCOINSA que se encuentra en un sitio
visible de la máquina. Con dicha información, diríjase preferentemente al Distribuidor donde
adquirió el producto o al Servicio Técnico IMCOINSA más cercano.
11.- RESIDUOS Y MEDIO AMBIENTE
Para deshacerse de los productos contaminantes o peligrosos, de los
embalajes, de los equipos y herramientas en desuso y en general de
cualquier tipo de residuo generado por su actividad, tiene que utilizar
los puntos de Recogida Selectiva y Tratamiento adecuados a cada caso.
Si usted necesita información al respecto puede dirigirse a Las
Consejerías de Medioambiente de su Comunidad Autónoma o al
Ayuntamiento más cercano.

1.- INTRODUCTION
This manual must be considered as a part of the machine (EN 292/2) and you must keep it
during all its working life in a spot known by the users.
Attention!! This annotation will be used whenever a dangerous situation, for the
operator, could arise.
Attention!! You must read this manual carefully. The aim of this manual is to help
the operator to start this machine in a correct way and to explain the safety procedures of the
European Community, in order to avoid any risks which could occur due to a misuse of the
machine.
This machine must be used only for concrete Vibrating applications. Any other use will be
considered inappropriate, and therefore dangerous.
Therefore, IMCOINSA wont be responsible for any possible damages occurred to people or
things, due to a misuse or an inappropriate use of the machine.
Please, bear in mind, as well as these rules, the regulations in force, which you must apply in
those places where the machine is in use.
IMCOINSA saves himself the right to realize modifications or improvements to the machine
without any notification in advance.
For any asks or incidents, contact the Distributor where you acquired the product or with the
nearest Technical Service of IMCOINSA.
2.- CAUTIONS
Read the safety instructions to have a better knowledge about the safety systems and the
potential of the machine.
Attention!! Keep away from children’s reach. Place the machine in a safe place once
the work is finished.
The IMCOINSA Vibrating Screeds have been designed to work under the best safety measures
but only if you follow up all these instructions. Read this manual before start working with the
machine. A misuse could damage the machine.
Do not try to repair the machine and do not try to accede to any internal parts. Contact, always,
with an authorized establishment of IMCOINSA.
The businessman must lean the machine, only to adult people, who must be in perfect physical
and mental conditions. He also must be sure that these persons, are qualified persons.
You must check frequently that the machine does not have any damages. You must verify that
all the safety parts, work correctly and that none part of the machine is damaged.
Start working with the machine of IMCOINSA, only in case, you fulfil both, safety and
instruction regulations.
The workers must know about all the safety regulations.

Wherever you work with the machine, do it with a proper light.
3.- INTRODUCTION TO THE MACHINE
The IMCOINSA Vibrating Screeds, available with electric or petrol engine, are used for the
surface finishing of concrete floors.
Thanks to their low weight, they are suitable for only one person to work with them, they also
are designed to ease the base to move forward or backward, obtaining a flat, smooth and
vibrated floor.
The vibrating screeds of IMCOINSA have the motor and vibrating body placed on the base,
which provides the screed of a balanced performance and lower down hand-machine
vibrations. And also maximizes the machines’ power.
3.1.- Simple handle Vibrating Screeds
There are different models, whose have an additional handle on the motor’s body, as well as an
easy and quickly system of assembling and disassembling the main handle, allowing in this way
the machines’ transport.
The base is manufactured in aluminium with a high resistance and designed with curved edges
that improves the expansion of the concrete.
3.2.- Double-handled with “L” shaped base Vibrating Screeds
These kind of vibrating screeds make a light and easy handle combination. The L shape base
made of aluminium allow an easy expansion of the concrete. There are two kind of engines,
electrical motors and petrol engine. Machines powered by a petrol engine, have the throttle at
the handle.
The handle is parallel to the movement, which allows an ergonomic posture to the worker.

5.- SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
Attention!! In order to avoid any personal and/or material damages, read carefully,
and be sure that you did understand following instructions.
Attention!! When storing the machine, place it on a solid, flat and dry surface and
without any vibrations.
The workplace must be in perfect order and well illuminated.
Take away from the workplace, any people which are not members of the staff, before start
working.
In order to protect yourself, you must wear safety glasses, gloves, helmet, the appropriate
clothes and boots while you are working.
Machines that are not being used should be kept in a dry place and locked out of reach of
children.

Do not overload your tools, the tool will work better and will work in a safeer way if it works
under the operating margins (nominal specified values).
Do not bend over your body too much when you are working. Avoid any unusual postures. Be
sure that you are correctly positioned and that you always are balanced.
Make sure the machine has no damages. You should check carefully that the safety devices and
all the parts work perfectly before using the tool. Check that all moving parts are working
properly, they are not stuck and that they are not broken. You should also check that all parts
of the screed are working properly and placed properly.
Damaged safety devices, as well as damaged protective devices must be repaired in an
appropriate way by the nearest Technical Service of IMCOINSA.
Although IMCOINSA Vibrating Screeds are equipped with anti-vibration devices to safeguard
the integrity of the upper extremities, avoid the harmful effects of vibration on the operator, by
reducing the total time of exposure to them.
5.1.- Electric Vibrating Screeds
Attention!! The following basic safety precautions should always be observed when
using power tools to protect yourself against electrical shock, risk of injury and fire hazard.
Attention!! Read and take note of these precautions before using the tool.
Take in mind the influence of the surrounding area. Do not expose your electrical tools to the
rain. Do not use electrical tools in humid or wet environments. Always protect yourself from a
possible electrical unload, do not ever touch parts with earth connection, for example pipelines
radiators, etc...
Use always power tools with the adequate technical characteristics to realize the work which is
meant to be done. Do not use accessories or tools designed for a lower power to realize works
in which more power is needed.
Do not use the electrical wire in an inappropriate way. Do not take the power tool by the wire
and do not take the plug out of the power socket by pulling from the wire. Protect the wire
from the heat, the oil and sharp edges.
Check regularly the electrical wire and be sure that is not damaged, in case it would, change it.
If you are not working with the power tool or if you are going to do any maintenance works or
to clean the machine, you must always unplug the machine from the power socket,.
Prevent the tool from turning it on when it is not supposed to. Do not ever carry a power tool
plugged in with the finger on its switch, and be always sure that the switch is turned off when
you are going to plug in the socket of the power tool to the main electrical supply.
5.2.- Petrol Vibrating Screeds
Attention!! If working in close quarters, garages, construction sites, etc.. make sure
that there is adequate ventilation for your health, because the engine exhaust gases contains
sulphur oxides, and these are toxic and can cause unconsciousness and even be fatal in high
concentrations.

It is forbidden to use the machine in places where there is a risk of explosion or near hazardous
materials.
Do not smoke while using the machine.
If the engine fuel tank is defective change it immediately, a deposit in poor condition may even
explode.
Attention!! Fill the tank with the engine off and in a well ventilated area.
Attention!! Do not overfill the tank. Do not spill fuel on hot engine parts or on other
parts of the machine that could be damaged.
Attention!! The fuels are extremely flammable and explosive. Do not smoke or make
flames or sparks near the tank. Fuel vapours can ignite.
Attention!! If fuel has been spilled, make sure the area is completely dry before
starting the engine.
6.- CHECKS BEFORE STARTING
6.1.- Electric Vibrating Screeds
Check that the main voltage is the same as indicated in the engine nameplate. Before
connecting to the power supply, verify that the switch is off, and that the outlet you will use has
ground connection.
If you use extension cords, make sure you have the appropriate section and it is in perfect
condition. Never operate the machine if you see any defect.
6.2 .- Petrol Vibrating Screeds
Read the engine manufacturer's manual and follow its instructions before starting the engine.
Always work in areas that are adequately ventilated.
Adjust speed with the throttle to get the desired concrete vibration.
Never operate the machine if you see any defect.
7.- TIPS FOR LEVEL, COMPACT AND VIBRATE SOILS
Process to be followed for a good pavement finishing:
It is advisable to level the surrounding walls where you will pour the concrete, with a horizontal
line previously marked with a laser level to be used as guide line on the level of concrete. Then
pour the concrete and start distributing it over the surface. Leave some referenced levels points
with the laser; depending on the desired level they must be closer from one another.
After doing above operations, you can work with the vibrating screed over the concrete. Be
sure that you cover up your footprints with the machine.
The vibration depth is about 15 cm, always depending on the type of concrete used.

Immediately after passing the vibrator you will appreciate that on the concrete surface,
emerges the grout, a mixture of cement, water and small particles of sand. The water will
disappear in a short period of time, leaving the surface mat to the setting of concrete.
Optionally, you can finish the pavement laying in the same, before setting occurs, quartz
powder and then must pass an IMCOINSA Trowel, which gives a polished and high wear
resistance floor. This procedure prevents the dust generated in the concrete due to the friction
of walking or vehicles passing over it
8.- MAINTENANCE
Attention!! It is obligatory to disconnect the plug from the electric supply or turn off
the petrol engine (depending the machine).
Clean and maintain in perfect conditions your tools.
Check from time to time the adjustment of the screws.
Once work is completed, carefully clean concrete waste from the machine and place it in a safe
place out of reach of children.
Only Technical Specialized Staff is allowed to realize any reparations.
An incorrect use, use of not original spare parts and non authorized modifications excludes
IMCOINSA from any responsibility and warranty.
Attention!! In order to keep for a long time, the level of safety and performance of
the machine the Distributor where you purchased the machine or the nearest Technical Service
of IMCOINSA should check it, at least, once a year.
Every day, before start working, the operator must check the efficiency of the control and
safety devices.
Attention!! It is recommended to not open or handle the machine inside. In case of
failure, contact the nearest authorised technical service or contact your Distributor.
Handling inside the machine during its guarantee period, without the authorization of the
Distributor or the manufacturer’s authorization disables the guarantee of the machine.
Machine recycling. According to the Directive 2002/96/CE of the European Parliament and the
Council of January 27th of 2003, regarding to wastes of electrical and electronic equipments
(WEEE):
When it’s useful life is over, do not throw the machine as a domestic waste, please take it to an
authorised place for its recycling.

10.- SPARE PARTS
Use only original spare parts from IMCOINSA.
If you do not use original spare parts, IMCOINSA declines any responsibility for any part of the
machine that could cause personal or material damages.
To order any spare part you must provide us the model and serial number of the machine. You
will find this information at the technical plate of IMCOINSA which is placed in a visible place of
the machine. Give above mentioned information, to the Distributor where you purchased the
machine, or to your nearest Technical Service of IMCOINSA.
11.- WASTES AND ENVIRONMENT
In order to get rid of polluting or hazardous products, packages,
machinery and tools in disuse and of any kind of waste generated by your
activity, you must use the points of Selective Collection and treatment
according to each case.
